//------------------------------// // Now You’re Gonna Pay // Story: Equestria Ninja Girls: Viper Kai // by AmethystMajesty25 //------------------------------// The next day, Celestia was in her office and spoke through the mic to announce some news to the school. “Attention everyone! I got an announcement to make. Due to the low budget of our school, my sister and I have decided to shut down the Arts and Music Program in four weeks.” Every student from separate classrooms reacted, “WHAT?!” After that, everyone chatted about the big announcement. “I’m sorry, but I want to take a moment to say thank you to the teachers who worked so hard for teaching Art and Music. That will be all.” During lunch break, the Rainbooms and Spike were outside, on the main entrance to the school and tried to plan a way to save the program. “I can’t believe this. The music room and the art room are going to be closed.” Sunset panicked. Applejack said, “This is an outrage. We gotta do something.” Pinkie raised her hand and suggested, “Ooh, I know. Why don’t we do a fundraiser and do some car washing.” “Yeah, but we already did that, Pinkie. It’s not going to be enough money to save our school.” Applejack answered. Twilight added, “Plus, we still got our summer jobs. It’s going to take more than a month to earn a lot of money in order to save our school.” While the rest of the Rainbooms were discussing, Rainbow was looking through her phone until she found something interesting. Something that could help save the school’s program. “Girls?” Rainbow asked them. However, the rest of the girls were still having a discussion and didn’t hear Rainbow. Rainbow repeatedly called them, “Girls? Anyone?!” She got nothing and Rainbow blew a whistle around her neck. “HEY!!!” She yelled. Spike and the rest of the Rainbooms stopped talking and their eyes were all focused on Rainbow. “Check it out, I found something on the internet. Take a look.” Rainbow said as she showed them something on her phone. On the screen of Rainbow’s phone, it said that there’s going to be a martial arts tournament in Canterlot City this year. The winning dojo receives a cash prize of $500,000. “That’s a perfect idea, Rainbow. If our school wins, we can save the school’s program.” Twilight informed everyone. Sunset cheered, “Yeah, let’s convince Celestia and Luna to host the martial arts tournament here in our school.” As Celestia was about to enjoy her sub sandwich in her office, Sunset knocked on her door. Celestia closed her mouth and puts down her sandwich. “Come in.” She said. The Rainbooms entered her office and greeted Celestia, “Hi Celestia. Can we talk to you for a sec?” “Of course, what can I do for you?” Celestia asked. “Well, I got a big idea that you might be invested in because this could save our school.” Rainbow suggested. “Okay, tell me.” Celestia replied. The Rainbooms explained to Celestia about the martial arts tournament in Canterlot City and the cash prize for minutes. “So, what do you say? Can our school host this year’s tournament?” Rainbow asked Celestia. Celestia thought about it while the Rainbooms were feeling nervous. “You know, our school doesn’t allow fighting. However, I think this could work. I’ll see what I can do. Right now, head back to your classes because lunch is almost about to be over. I’ll let you know when something’s up.” Celestia informed the girls. “Excellent. You will not regret this. Thank you!” Rainbow said as she and her friends exited her office. “You’re welcome.” Principal Celestia replied and she went back to eating her lunch. The girls celebrated until they saw Lancer and Half Note in the hallways. “Hey girls. Why were you in the Principal’s Office?” Lancer asked. Rainbow felt excited and answered, “Well, I got great news. We’re going to save the school’s program.” “Really? That’s awesome.” Half Note said. “Yeah, so how’s your presentation in your class?” Twilight asked them. Lancer answered, “Well, we got an F thanks to ‘you-know-who.’” The Rainbooms were upset as Sunset growled, “I knew that punk was up to no good.” “Hey! Relax Sunset. Let me finish,” Lancer said and Sunset calmed down. “However, our teacher gave us a week to redo our project to bump our grades up.” The Rainbooms all sighed in relief, “Well, what a relief. Alt least there’s some good news coming from you guys.” “Thanks, Sunset. So, what’s the plan to save our school program?” Lancer asked the Rainbooms. The Rainbooms, Lancer, and Half Note walked through the hallways and discussed about the tournament. The next day, on a sunny Saturday morning, the Rainbooms, Turtles, Blade Swipe, the Rock N’ Beats, Young Six, and some of the students from CHS helped set up a fundraiser outside of the school and started washing cars. They were holding up signs and customers were giving money to the Rainbooms. “Hey, thanks for coming to help us out Bright Eyes.” Lancer told Bright Eyes. Bright Eyes replied, “Oh, it was nothing. Sunset told us about what happened to your school. We’ll do anything to help our friends out.” “Aw, thanks Bright Eyes. I appreciate it.” Lancer said as they both smiled at each other and continued washing the cars. Sunset was directing traffic for the car wash and informed everyone, “Great, guys. Keep it up. A line of cars around the block,” She then looked at Sandalwood who’s not properly wiping the car window with his towel. She said, “Sandal, it’s left circle and then the right circle.” Sandal nodded and did exactly what she told him to do. Then, Bebop and Rocksteady were driving their van to get their van washed. “Hey! Could we be next?” Bebop asked the Rainbooms as he and Rocksteady fist bumped each other. Bebop was happy until Bulk Biceps came by to climb up on their van and wash the front window. “Want the wash and wax or just the wash?” Bulk asked them. Bebop frowned that he didn’t get the girls to clean his van and asked Bulk, “Hold up, you doin’ it?” “Yeah, Imma get you all straight.” Bulk answered as his belly was shown on the van window while washing the van. Rocksteady asked, “No streaks?” Logan Berrytown approached Bebop and told him, “That’ll be 20 bucks.” The kid took his money and said, “Thank you.” “Hey!” Bebop shouted as he looked at Bulk, giving Bebop a thumbs up. The two mutants were now upset that his van’s going to be washed by a hunky dude. [rock music playing] While the heroes continued their fundraising event, Shark was watching from afar along with his two pals, Valhallen and Heath Burns. “They’re all going to learn not to mess with Viper Kai.” Shark stated. Valhallen asked him, “So, what are we going to do?” “Don’t worry, I got a plan. Right now, let’s get out of here, boys. I’ve seen enough.” Shark answered as he and his boys drove their motorcycles away from the school. Hours later, the fundraiser ended in the afternoon and Logan packed up the money he and his friends collected and stored it in his backpack. As Logan was about to head home with his bicycle, sounds of motorcycles were approaching, catching Logan’s attention. The boy quickly got onto his bicycle until Shark blocked his path with his motorcycle. Heath and Valhallen approached towards Logan as Shark told him, “You picked the wrong side.” Heath grabbed his backpack and took out the envelope full of money inside. “Hey! Give it back!” Logan pleaded them as Shark started pinning him down on the ground. Heath smelled the money and sighed, “Nothing like a long day of charity.” “We’ll make sure sensei knows that this belongs to Viper Kai.” Valhallen said. Logan pleaded them, “Stop! That money is for the school.” “Oh yeah? Well now you’re gonna pay.” Shark told him as he and his friends started attacking him. Logan did everything he could to defend himself, but he was no match against them and the three Viper Kai boys beat him down. After it was finished, Logan couldn’t help but cry and the Viper Kai gang rode off with their motorcycles and the money they stole. The next morning, The Rock N’ Beats and the Young Six were in the backyard of Sunset’s house. “You sure about this?” Teddy asked Bright Eyes. Bright Eyes informed everyone, “Viper Kais never stopped training. We have to catch up. If that means me taking the reins, then so be it.” Sandbar said, “I’m ready to add a few new moves to my repertoire.” “She’s right. I’ve never heard of Viper Kai, but I bet they are bad guys which explains why Logan got beat up.” Smolder mentioned as Logan was wearing sunglasses to cover up his black eye, but he also got some bruises too. “Hold on a sec, what if Leo, Sunset, and the rest of our friends find out?” Ocellus asked Bright Eyes. Bright Eyes answered, “Don’t worry, they won’t. I got it covered. Now then, let’s get started.” The young teens started training and practicing their fighting skills to get ready for their fight against Viper Kai.
