It was nearly sunset in Auradon, and Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle were checking everything.

“Flash. Pour all the memory into her mouth. If she remembers it, do what ever you have to do, but if she doesn’t, well...”

Flash nodded. “I’ll do just that.”

Flash ran into the yard, shielding his eyes against the powerful magic. 

“Sunset!” he shouted. “Please, I need to talk to you!”

The demon turned, to see Flash Sentry.

Flash nodded at Rainbow and Fluttershy to hold her back, as he poured the memories of her back in.

The colour of her skin lightened to pink.

Flash now had a decision to make: Would the thing he wanted the most bring her back?

He decided to take a risk. Flash looked at Sunset with determination.

“Sunset, you were never like this! I always believed you could change, I was right! During cotillion, I wanted to propose to you. I would like to do it now, so will you marry me, please? Don’t you remember, all the good times we had together?”

“Flash! You have to force her!”  shouted Rainbow Dash.

Flash sighed. He didn’t know what to do. “Kiss her!” shouted Rainbow.

Flash nodded. He still loved her, and he shut his eyes, before kissing her.

After about a minute, he opened it, to see an almost transformed Sunset Shimmer. Maybe apart from the demon wings and the fangs, she was the girl he knew.

“Flash. I’m so sorry!” she cried. “I didn’t mean to hurt anyone! It was like the dead parts of me reignited into my ex form!”

Flash smiled. “It’s okay. I’ve been meaning to ask you for a while, will you marry me?”

Sunset smiled, truly, for the first time. “Yes.”

Then everyone cheered.
