//------------------------------// // 7 - Preperations // Story: The Rise Of The Cobra Kai // by Dragon-In-Black //------------------------------// Months had passed since Pipsqueak joined, and he was now in his second year of high school together with the other Cobra Kai students. They were now known as “the angry students” and had school spies on them at all times so they don’t accidentally murder some student. Hawk had become even more aggressive as the students had tried to speak to them to calm down, but that had led them to get stitches at a doctors office. Vice Principal Luna had been watching Hawk for some time now, and wasn’t able to say that he did certain attacks even though she knew that he was the one doing them. She wanted to speak to him, but she wasn’t sure how she would be able to do that as he always seems to disappear as soon as she wants to talk to him. She knew that the tournament in karate was coming up, and she just knew that Hawk was gonna be the best fighter. He is simply too violent to not be in the tournament. She had found out that it was sensei Sombra who was now the owner of Cobra Kai who had trained Hawk and the other three. She was surprised, she knew Sombra because they went to the same school which was CHS, then he was transferred to Crystal Prep Academy after an incident that probably everyone from her time will remember. She and Sombra had been Grogars most top students, and Sombra had been the more violent one. She had been violent herself, but nothing compared to Sombra. She was gonna go and watch the tournament, and it seemed like everyone else in CHS were gonna watch it themselves. She had asked her sister if she wanted to go, and had said yes as she wanted a better understanding of who she was dealing with. Luna was internally hoping that she would be able to help the young angry student. She knew that if they listened to Hawk, they would follow him. He was the leader to them after all, and Hawk needed help, even though he probably thinks that he doesn't. Rarity Belle had become more of a yandere towards the young Hawk. She was always talking about him to herself, and saw him as a real man. She literally ignored the fact that he man-handled Flash and his gang. She had told her closest friend, Fluttershy about her crush at the spa. To say the shy friend wasn’t surprised would have been an understatement. She had told Rarity how she had seen her looking at Hawk longingly. It had made Rarity look at her friend sheepishly. Although, Rarity Belle wasn’t the only one who was interested in getting Hawk for herself. Almost every girl in school wanted to be with him. The guys were too scared to threaten Hawk, as the last person who tried that got a broken leg. Rarity was so into getting married and having kids with Hawk, and didn’t even pay attention to the other guys in school. She was gonna have him, no matter the cost. She had been very yandere ish since she saw him beat Flash and his useless gang of idiots. Sunset Shimmer was worried about the four Cobra Kai students as she was once their leader and comrade. Hawk had given her death glares every time he saw her, and she didn’t know what to do. She had to a degree abandoned them, but she thought that it was for their own good as she hadn’t exactly been the worlds best person. But apparently they saw her as a friend, and she had abandoned them. She didn’t know what to do, and Twilight had tried to help Sunset any way she could, and it was kind of working. Hawk himself was preparing well for the tournament, and was looking forward to kicking some ass! He was gonna make Cobra Kai come out as victorious! He had noticed how Rarity Belle was looking at him longingly and it was slowly making him angry. Yes, he had a crush on her, but she didn’t exactly help him when he needed it. He wasn’t gonna hurt her, but he wasn’t gonna be overly friendly either towards her. He has been training a little bit too much, as his friends literally drag him away from the dojo. Much to the amusement of sensei Sombra. Hawk showed no mercy to his enemies and even goes as far as to hurt them physically and mentally. Everyone knew this, but with a past like his, it is very understandable. He absolutely hated anyone who came back into his life, and tried to bring him down. All the bullying he suffered, all the pent up anger, the hatred. He now used it as a weapon, and a dangerous one at that. Snips, Snails, and Pipsqueak wasn’t afraid of that though, as they had seen when Hawk was at his lowest. He loved the fact that he had friends like them. Flash was having a tough time grasping what had happened last term. Spike, or Hawk as he calls himself now, was the most popular guy in school and he had done nothing but beat him and his friends mercilessly. Flash didn’t know where everything went wrong, but he wasn’t interested. His mother had found out that Hawk had been bullying Flash and had demanded an explanation. They had gone to the school, and Hawk had his lackeys as usual. They had been in the principal's office and principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna had been present. Hawk and his friends had glared at their old bully and it had made Flashs’ mother angry. “Why are you looking at him like that?! You have nor right to, you bully him!” Flashs’ mother had practically screamed at the Cobra Kai students who now glared at Flash so hard, he could have melted into the chair. Hawk had walked up to Flashs’ mother and said very very calmly. “Your son has bullied us since forever, and you have no right to scream to your superiors. Your son made our lives a living fucking Hell. I can confirm this together with other bullied students. Now, are you done screaming at us like a banshee, or do you want to be lectured?” Spike had asked, making Flashs’ mother even angrier than she already was. She had screamed at the principal, demanding that Hawk and his friends are expelled. Celestia had sighed, and had shown Flashs’ mother a file that showed everyone Fash ever bullied. To say that Flashs’ mother was angry and shocked would have been an understatement. She had looked at the three Cobra Kai students, and back at the file. She had left the file on the desk and walked out, being quickly followed by her son who looked down at the floor in shame. Hawk was currently in his bedroom, preparing for the tournament the very next day. He was so looking forward to it. He was currently looking at a magazine that was meant for adults, but why would that matter? He was at that age where the boys’ start noticing things that they didn’t the same way when they were younger. He was only looking, he wasn’t really doing anything. He looked out of the window, and saw CHS in the distance. He gave away an evil smile. One that would give anyone chills. “You will all see what you did to me and my friends you cowards. You cannot hide forever behind a pathetic principal!” Hawk said, as he closed the magazine and put it on his bedside table. He looked over at his watch and rolled his eyes. It was midnight, and he was not feeling very tired. He got out of his bed and started doing fifty push ups on his knuckles, hoping to tire himself out. Snips was inside of his apartment and was kicking a workout bag. He felt his adrenaline rush in his entire body, as he gave devastating blows, left and right of the bag. He then stopped and felt how tired he was. He looked out the closest window to him and saw CHS. He felt anger, as he gave one final kick to the bag. He then walked towards the window and opened it. Beside the window was a small table, and on top of it, was a pack of cigarettes. He took one out, and pulled out a lighter from his pocket that had a Red Bull logo on it. He lit the cigarette and let the smoke inside of his lungs. He may be young, but a guy needs to vent his frustration on something. “I can’t believe this. Last term was pathetic, at least before we joined Cobra Kai. Then we beat Flash and his loser for friends, and we are all of a sudden the bad guys. Life may not be fair, but for karate’s sake, that is just plain cruel. Then again, me and the boys’ practically run the school with an iron fist just like the coward did, but with violence instead.” Snips said, talking out loud to himself. He sometimes talked to himself because he needed to hear his very own words. “You know what? Fuck it! I don’t care what the others think, I will show them how it's done tomorrow! They will see the wrath of the Cobra!” Snips said, making his left hand into a tight fist. He finished his cigarette and closed the window, giving CHS one last look before he closed up the window. Snails lived beside Snips, and was currently playing a video game called: The Revenge Of The Shadow Pony. He was playing on the hardest difficulty because he needed a challenge. He had played the game before on easy difficulty because he wanted to know the storyline, but now he wanted to best the game. It was more fun playing on a hard difficulty, because it could take days’ depending on how long the game is. He was playing the final battle as a character named: Starlight Glimmer as a pony. The final battle was intense. “You are almost out of energy, pony. What will you do? Your friends are not here to save you, you are exhausted from our battle, and you have no fire left at your side. What will you do now?” The villain of the game said, as Snails landed a slash to the boss. “Damn, this battle is more tense then it is on the easy difficulty.” Snails said, as he landed a spell, and evaded a claw. The game made you decide which side you can be on. He had played as the good guys twice now. He would play as the villain next, and see what it is like on the villains side. The game was that good. Snails then landed the finishing blow, and it showed the whole cutscene. Then it showed the epilogue. There is another game of the same franchise coming out, but it was being worked on by GhoulDash Productions. He then went out of the game, after seeing he had gotten the trophy: Veteran Friend. He then turned off the Ponystation five system. He walked out of his living room and headed towards his bedroom so he could get some rest. He had already brushed his teeth which he had done at nine which he did every evening religiously. He looked out the window and saw CHS. He felt a hint of anger and betrayal. He then shook it off, he couldn’t become another version of Hawk. he got into his bed and allowed sleep to catch him. Pipsqueak was inside of his home, and was reading a book that showed legendary karate champions from the children's side. He was reading a chapter about a girl named Nightmare Moon that looked awfully familiar to Vice Principal Luna. he had shrugged it off as a coincidence. He then finished the chapter, and looked at the book and saw the name of the book: Karate Champions 1980 To 2000. “It’s better if i get some sleep now. I don’t want to be tired when the tournament happens.” Pipsqueak said, as he put the book on his night stand and went to sleep. He didn’t realize at that very moment, that Vice Principal Luna was looking at the very same book and felt tears run down her face as she felt pain.
