I realised what i had done. I had let everyone down, but most of all, my sister.


I ran into the courtyard, where I heard Celia shout my name. I transformed into a dragon and flew up. I had no chance with the ember, in water. I was in big trouble with my father. “MAL!” shouted Uma. “REGAIN YOUR MIGHT AND IGNITE! REGAIN YOUR MIGHT AND IGNITE!”

The ember glowed and Audrey and I were duelling. I was winning. She slumped, asleep.






We carried Audrey to her room, where we were met by Queen Lea and other adults. I needed my father, to wake her.

I wanted to tell him everything, how much I loved him.

And I did, in my own way. I guess. And he loves me. 

May be I am my father’s daughter.
