“Fairy cottage,” muttered Mal. “She’ll be there.





There was no sign of Audrey, but there was a knocking sound.

Applejack wrenched the door open. Twilight gasped. Chad.

“Is Audrey here?” he asked, before whimpering, running out.

Twilight shrugged.

“Not here.”

Uma and Harry ran off to find Gil.

“Guys.” said Mal. “I’m sorry. I lied.”

Celia grabbed the ember and threw it in the water. Then she sauntered off

I was shocked. “You lied. You lied to everyone. Mal, how can I ever trust you? I thought you’d stand up for the VKs. So Sunset did not die in vain. But you let me down. You let Sunset down. And all of us down.”

There was a Flash of light and everyone was turned to stone. Apart from Mal.

“No.” wept Mal. “No.”
