The bell rings as third hour is set to begin.
Rarity though is already seated at her desk, all ready for Miss Cheerilee's English class.
As Rarity is perfecting the positions of her pens and notebook on her desk, she overhears behind her chatter. More specifically, gossip.
Rarity takes just a slight peek back behind her to see that one of the school's fashionista (whose name escapes her at the moment) and new transfer student Coco Pommel are the ones partaking in the talk of the gossip.
"So I like, heard, like, at the mall last night, that that Snips fella was out hitting on the new foreign exchange student." The fashionista gossips about.
"Really? He was hitting on Zecora?" Coco Pommel asks questioningly.
"No, the other foreign exchange student. Gabby, I think her name is."
"Gabby? Isn't she like, way younger than he is?"
"OMG like, I'm telling the story here, Coco!" The fashionista blurts out, annoyed, loud enough to get the attention of Rarity and the student seated next to them but not so loud as to get any unwanted 'stares' going their way from the rest of the class.
Rarity looks at the fashionista quizzingly, but not the less strugging it off. They both know that she's 'cool' enough with the two of them to understand.
"Uh, sorry." Coco apologizes, breaking up the silence.
"No it's, fine. Like, whatevs."
Rarity takes her ears away from their conversation and directs them to the front of the class to hear what Miss Cheerilee's been saying for the last two minutes.
Snips and Gabby huh?
Meh. They tote not make a cute couple.
