Rainbow Dash and a Stickmin

A Sudden Blackout

Rainbow Dash had just gotten an invite to one of Pinkie Pie’s parties with her friends, and she had happily accepted.

She’d been getting these invites for quite a while now. They would show up at her door at random times whenever Pinkie was in the mood and had enough time to plan one.

Dash opened up the envelope and read the invitation letter. Pinkie planned for the party to start in an hour from now. She set the invite down, told her pet tortoise, Tank, that she was leaving, and headed out the door.

As she arrived at the door of Sugarcube Corner, she saw the other four were already arriving. They each greeted each other and waited for Pinkie to open the door. As the hour passed, the door swung open, greeted by a very cheerful Pinkie Pie.

"Hello everypony! Oh boy, this gonna be exciting! Come in, come in!"

"Let's just hope this party is going to be as awesome as ever," Dash said as she entered.

"Oh, darn tootin' ya bet it’ll be," Applejack said from behind, earning a little chuckle from the pegasus.

The party went on as usual. There were games, treats, you name it.

As everyone was in the middle of dancing, Dash suddenly started to feel a little light-headed. She stopped for a moment and sat down by a wall, a hoof rubbing her head. Everyone else had noticed, and Pinkie ran over to the radio to turn off the music as everyone else rushed over to Dash.

"Rainbow! Are you alright?" Twilight asked as she reached the pegasus.

"I don't feel so good..." she replied, her voice slightly faltering. The voices around her became a jumbled mix of gibberish, her still barely conscious. She saw Twilight reaching out to her as she finally blacked out, falling to the floor.

Dash had started to regain consciousness when she realized the floor she was on wasn’t Sugarcube Corner’s. It was rough, rocky ground. She tried to open her eyes, but there was a light shining at her, blinding her. She closed them shut and let out a small groan. She slowly lifted a hoof to her head as she thought to herself.

What happened?

She opened her eyes again with her hoof shielding the light away when she realized where she was. She was perplexed but knew she wasn't in Equestria anymore. It was an entirely different dimension!

She slowly got up, still a bit wobbly, and wondered how she had got here. When she was fully upright and was able to maintain her balance, she shook off the dust and pebbles on her before looking at her surroundings. There was nothing for miles except for a single building in the distance. Hoping she could find some help there, she shook out her mane again before spreading her wings and taking off, unaware of the adventure she was about to have.
