Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays
Boy does it feel good whenever the Holiday season comes around. It’s away to spread Christmas joy and cheer in the season of giving. It was currently only a week until Christmas comes and Sunset Shimmer was just getting ready for her special holiday date with her girlfriend Twilight Sparkle. Sunset and Twilight have been dating for almost a year up to this point and since then they were practically inseparable. Sunset Shimmer can still remember their first kiss at the Canterlot Park during New Years.
Sunset was just putting on her plain jeans and she put on her favorite long sleeved snoopy shirt to her during holidays. She then grabs a sweater that fits two people at once. One side of the shirt says ‘I’ve Been Nice’ which was Twilight’s end and the other side says ‘I’ve Been Naughty’ which was Sunset’s end. She had it since Twilight gifted it to her last year on Christmas, to which Sunset kept it for herself and Twilight. Sunset hugs it with most dear until she heard her phone going off.
It turns out Twilight Sparkle was calling her. Sunset picks up her orange phone and presses a button to accept the call and she put it on speaker so she can talk to Twilight and put on the rest of her clothing.
“Hey Twily,” Sunset calls Twilight by her nickname.
“Hey Sunny,” Twilight says Sunset’s nickname as well as she giggles.
“I’m just about to head out so we can go out,” Sunset explained as she puts on her socks and specials boots.
“Ok then, I’m almost you can pick me up shortly,” Twilight says.
“Ok, I’ll see you soon Twily,” she says as they both hung up and Sunset was officially ready for her date with Twilight. She grabs the two person sweater, her wallet, and her keys to her motorcycle and then she heads out the door as she exits her apartment complex. She locks her door to her apartment behind her with the keys that are on the same keychain as her keys to her motorcycle and then she puts on her gloves and a winter hat. After that she walks over to her motorcycle that’s parked around the back of the complex, as she found her vehicle she gets on it and puts on her helmet she put her keys in ignition and starts it up. Before she starts to drive she took the sleeves of the two person sweeter and wrapped it around herself tying the sleeves into a knot so it won’t fall off on the way. She revved the motorcycle and then started to move as she’s on her way to Twilight’s house.
It was chilly here as it was also snowing in here in the city. But it wasn’t that much of a problem for Sunset since she has her scarf and her winter hat with her long sleeved shirt to keep her warm enough.
After a little while Sunset arrives at Twilight’s house. She slowed down as she pulls up on the driveway and just sat there until Twilight comes out ready to go. A while after sitting there in the driveway for a minute or two Twilight opens her door and closes behind her as she steps out of the house. She walks over to Sunset on her motorcycle as she puts on her helmet.
Twilight was wearing her usual glasses and her blue long sleeved shirt with a lavender scarf and her usual jeans and boots.
“Hey Sunset,” she greets her special partner as she kisses Sunset on her cheek.
“Hey Twily,” Sunset greets back as Twilight gets on the motorcycle behind her and she wrapped arms around Sunset.
“Ready for our date for the evening?” Twilight asked.
“Of course hon,” Sunset started to back up out of the driveway and then she started to drive to Sweet Snacks Café. Twilight held on to Sunset as tight as she can but not too tight so Sunset can drive to their destination. Since the Café isn’t that far it only took about 10 minutes to get there.
Once the girls have arrived Sunset goes through a parking lot a parked her motorcycle in a free space. She then took her keys out of the ignition and both of the girls took off their helmets and got off the vehicle as they hand the helmets on the motorcycle’s handles. Twilight began to notice the two person sweater the Sunset has wrapped around her waist.
“I see that you kept the sweater for us to wear,” she says as she gave Sunset a warm smile.
“Well of course I did... wanna wear it while we eat?” Sunset asks as Twilight nods her head. Sunset unties the knot on the sleeves and then moves closer to Twilight. Both of them tries to put the sweater on at the same time so they won’t have to struggle with one person at a time. Once they were able to put on the two person sweater they put one of their arms through each sleeve and started to hold each other’s hand inside the clothing.
They start to walk the café where they were gonna have their date as they walk they just smiled at each other as they shared warm feelings with one another in the sweater.
Twilight opened the door as they walk inside. An employee at this establishment showed them their table which is where they were gonna sit. As they sit at their table they decided to sit on one side in the table booth since they’re still in their cozy two person sweater. The waitress rolled in her roller skates up to the couple. As expected it looks like Pinkie Pie is their waitress. Honestly I’m a little surprised and yet I’m the one who wrote this story.
“Hiya Sunset, having fun with your little date here?” Pinkie says as she practically teases Sunset being in a relationship with Twilight.
“Yes Pinkie we on another one of our dates,” Sunset says as she and Twilight giggle a bit.
“I hope you guys like the Christmas setup we made here, even got some Jingle Bells tunes,” Pinkie says in a little bit of a singing voice.
“It does look nice around here Pinkie Pie, love what you guys done with the place,” Twilight compliments the Café’s Christmas theme decorations. After the small talk Sunset and Twilight ordered their drinks along with some of the food they’ll be eating. Pinkie writes down their order on her notepad. Little did they know is that while they were talking Pinkie snuck a Mistletoe behind them hung up on the wall
“Alrighty then your drinks are coming up in just a moment,” Pinkie says as she rolls away to continue her shift. Sunset and Twilight just sat at their table all cuddled up in their two person sweater.
“So,” Sunset says.
“So...?” Twilights repeats her words.
“Are you having a great time so far?” the bacon haired girl asks.
“Yeah... I’m glad that you’re having fun time too,” she says.
“It seems like Pinkie is glad that we’re together too,” Sunset points out as both of turn their heads to see Pinkie Pie staring at them. As soon as Pinkie sees them looking at her she turned her head. Both of the girls giggled. “Well I guess you can’t blame her for being a huge sucker for two people being in love”.
“You mean like how we’re in love right now,” Twilight points out.
“Yeah.”
Sunset and Twilight just stood silent and gazed at each other’s eyes for a moment. Sunset just gazed into the sparkle in her girlfriend’s eyes until she sees a mistletoe hung up on the wall which causes her to giggle.
“What is it?” Twilight asks. Sunset points her left hand to the wall where the mistletoe is.
“Pinkie Pie?”
“Pinkie Pie.”
As they both giggled they look into each other’s eyes again.
“I love you Sunny,” Twilight says with a warm smile.
“I love you too Twily,” she says.
Sunset and Twilight would gaze into each other’s sparkling eyes as they close the gap and finally kiss each other on the lips.
