The next day after recovering from the Changeling Invasion, Princess Celestia has made an assembly speech announcement for every pony, nobles, and Wonderbolts in public.
Though a part of her didn't want to do it and being disappointed by her sister, she has to eventually need to own up her past mistakes as she told every pony the entire truth along with 5 bearers, Captain Shining Armor, and Princess Cadence present about what happened before and during the Canterlot Wedding.
After Celestia made her speech, let's just say a lot of shocked and surprised in silence.
Then later came an outrage and riot as the guards try to calm every pony down with little effect.
When Celestia turns to see her sister Luna, she notices that she's trying her best to stabilize her anger. Nothing else to say, Luna needed some time alone away from her sister to think.
Needless to say, Princess Celestia ended the speech and goes to her castle alone. Twilight's friends were escorted back to Ponyville while Cadence gave Shining some harsh lessons and punishments in her private room.
3 weeks after the Changeling Invasion, a sudden tremor is shaking near the Frozen North mountains.
The lost Crystal Empire that disappear a thousand years ago by a cursed magic spell has finally surface from underground upon Equestria's land.
Not only that, but the tyrant darkness pony named King Sombra who's responsible for curse spell has also surfaced as well and begins to find the Empire to take it over again.
Upon looking for the Empire in the snowy weather, King Sombra came across a figure near an old icy cave.
He sees the figure walk towards him, revealing a blue armor pony holding a bag and halberd.
"Who are you pony?"Sombra asked the armored warrior.
"Classified, I'm just a wandering observer." The armor warrior calmly replied.
"Oh really, then you wouldn't mind if I make you my new slave pawn?"
"I highly recommend that you don't do that."
"Then let's find out shall we?"
When King Sombra's shadowy form magic tries to consume the armor pony, he suddenly felt a massive pain and screams as his shadows moves away, making him revert back to his pony form.
"W-What happened? What kind of trick did you do to me?!" He snarls & growling.
"I warned you not to do that. Now I have no choice, but to give you a little beat down reminder."
Sombra's weak form didn't react on time as he felt a left hook punch to his cheek.
"Let me make one thing straight King Sombra; I don't like being mind bucked or controlled by any pony."
The armor pony gave a swift kick in Sombra's stomach.
"Especially by the ones who thinks it's okay to abuse and having forcible sex against the non-consent victims. You see if my knight brothers found out that some pony has me in mind controlled or being a sex slave, all of Tartarus would run loose and drag the hateful sinners to the abyssal darkness of eternal despair and endless torture until all of there wills and minds are broken."
Sombra felt his back get kicked before his neck is grabbed by the armor pony's right hand.
"I would very much like to end you right now with no pony watching, but my brother has a better idea. Since both you and the Crystal Empire has returned to the lands, my brother has a special plan for you."
The armor pony in pulls out something from the bag, revealing a small brown food item.
"This item I have here is very dangerous to eat except for some tough animals. Though before I can let you go, I do have some final words to you as a message for the arrival groups."
King Sombra sees the armor warrior opens the front helmet and his fear were growing upon seeing the warrior's face.
"Enjoy your victory foolish ponies, for this is just the beginning end of Equestria and the rise of a treacherous force."
The armor pony then closes the helmet and shoves the food item to Sombra's mouth. When he choked and swallow the item, his body fell down in the snow. Sombra's body felt his body shaken and he roars in immense pain to make it stop.
Nodding that the task is complete, the blue armor pony warrior walks away from the screaming tyrant.
A few hours later in Canterlot, Princess Celestia is on her throne seat to calm her headache.
From dealing with some riot ponies, angry nobles & families, and her sister growing more distant away.
'It just keeps getting worse and worse for me every day.' She thought, rubbing her head to massage it.
'First the Canterlot Wedding, then the invasion, looked down by my own pupil, the element bearers in a worst state of regret & guilt like me, having to tell the truth in public, Shining Armor misses his sister, some pony residents moving out from Canterlot, nobles can't shut the buck up every once in a while, and now my own sister has lost her trust of me. What else can go wrong in my life?'
Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the throne room open and her guard bows to her.
"News from the northern part of Equestria, your highness."
"Yes, what is it?"
"I have simply wanted to inform you that, the Crystal Empire has returned."
"What? Are you sure?"
"Yes, but that's not all your highness. One of our spying scouts reports of a strange large red glowing magic seems to have stopped. Our spy reports that it could be King Sombra, but it seems he hasn't gone after the Empire yet. What should we do?"
"Hmmm, send a message to Princess Cadence and Shining Armor. Inform them to investigate the Crystal Empire's state while I try to contact my pupil."
"As you wish your majesty."
Meanwhile. . .
Moondancer made the trip to Ourtown after making sure her friends were recovering quite 100% okay.
"Well, I finally made it. Hope this message is worth a long trip for more bits." She murmurs.
Thus, she walks in further to Ourtown, unaware of the shivering feeling of bad news in that town.
