Chapter 2 - Doll of control

After Merlin used the spell, Gowther was teleported into a forest. It was an odd looking forest, the trees were blacker than tar. There was a town in the distance, but it would be relatively hard to see through the brush of the forest. He looked around, he was given two options, go deeper into the forest or head towards the town.

He took the more logical option, heading to the town. The over option had a survival rate of about 25%, at least according to his calculations. Gowther continued through the heavy brush, up ahead was a small clearing from the brush. Going around could have Gowther end up battling against some wildlife, whilst going through it could be a trap. He decided to take his chances and move through the clearing.

When Gowther got to the center of the clearing, a low growl surrounded him as neared the center. He stopped in the center of the larger clearing to analyze the area around him. Three wooden, quadrupedal entities started growling at him. They seemed to stand at shoulder height to gowther. They started circling Gowther preparing to strike.

The first one charged at Gowther, aiming to crush his body in one bite.Gowther dodged by jumping over him preparing to use gatling-jack. Right before he used his attack he landed into some trees. It is almost as if this forest is alive, the clearing now had several wines with thorns attached slithering around the area, and the trees had moved to prevent the moonlight from flowing through. If Gowther had a sense of emotion, he would’ve probably ran away from fear.

Freeing himself from the trees, gowther fell to the ground only suffering a small cut on his arm. The wood wolves charged at Gowther with a malicious intent. The first one tried to bite Gowther's stomach, which he dodged and countered with a wood splitting strike. A loud crack sounded which should’ve been enough to scare off the other two but it didn’t. The other two wooden wolves were still eyeing Gowther with what he could only assume was some kind of anger.

Both of the wolves lunged at gowther at the same time trying to overwhelm him. The first one swiped at him with a wooden paw which barely grazed the edge of his shirt as he jumped back. While Gowther was mid air the other wood wolf bit down on his leg with an audible crack. That wolf managed to bite down severely damage his left leg, Gowther was getting as impatient as an emotionless doll could.

Gowther made a finger gun as he shot a bolt of pink light from his finger taking control of the wolf that bit him. He used the wolf to combat its still living pack member as he tried to figure out the best strategy to escape. If he continued to fight other beasts could come and overwhelm him in this small area, but his leg could collapse in on itself if he over used it so running was in the question.

Continuing to use the wooden wolf to attack, it uses its claws to crash into the other wolf. Each collision caused splitters and green ooze which Gowther could only assume was their blood. Gowther barely focused on the fight as he calculated his best plan of action, he could already feel his leg started to break and he might be able to make it to the town in the distance if he ran, but in doing so he would lose focus and the effects of ‘jack’ would drop. The other option was to continue using his puppet of a wolf and kill the other predator, yet the cries of pain could attract other predators.

With one final crash Gowther had killed the offending predator, splinters and more of the green ooze splattered out from the beast. Gowther than manipulate his puppet to come close to him. Gowther looked into the eyes of the wooden wolf and saw the depression humans often associate with fearfulness. A quick slash across the head area of the wolf caused it to be decapitated.

Looking around Gowther made sure that there was nothing left that could offer a threat. He proceeded to head to the town, each step he felt his leg would collapse upon his own weight. He kept a watchful eye even though his facial expression was as emotionless as always.

Upon leaving the forest, Gowther spotted a small cottage that seemed to have plant life growing all across it, while also being maintained fairly well. Moving on his journey he felt a large snap in his leg as it finally gave way to the stress.

Fluttershy was in her house trying to get Angel Bunny to go to bed for several hours. She was very frustrated and seriously sleep deprived from chasing him all night. He kept saying something along the lines of the puppet master is coming, but Discord had already been reformed so she hoped that his ramblings were just from being tired.

Fluttershy lunged at the bunny jumping from furniture to furniture trying to catch him. Her cottage would be a mess after she caught him. After a long while of trying to convince him to go to bed, the thorn in the side of a bunny finally went to sleep.

Fluttershy had gotten comfortable in bed when a massive crack sounded startling the half asleep pegasus. It sounded like a mix of an animal’s bone break and a tree branch falling. Going to the window to check, she saw an odd pink haired creature covered in timberwolf blood and a leg that is not supposed to be pointing in a certain direction.

She gasped in horror at the somewhat gorey sight. Rushing over to the creature, she picked it up off the ground with all her strength. Barely dragging the creature off the ground, then placing it  to the sofa for him to recover. She started to brush him off with a thin cloth to clean the blood and dirt off him.
*pop*

The head of the creature popped off and rolled onto the floor in front of Fluttershy. It eyes were soulless as they began to stare daggers into fluttershy.

“Hello, I am gowther.”

“AAHHHHHH” was the last words fluttershy said before she passed out from shock.

“This is rather unfortunate.”
