The next morning I began working on a new schematic for a part that would allow me to change in size. Luckily I had the materials. I opened my trunk and took a few handfuls.
I closed the trunk, plopped the stuff into my mouth and I began to chew. After enough chewing I swallowed. I began telling my nanites to work on a middle finger and a middle toe, along with the size manipulation tech, and to make my outer plating into tungsten, for heat resistance, along with a device that allows cloud walking. I went over to my couch and took a nap and shut down so my modifications could begin.

“Yawn, mmm” I said waking up. I looked at my new hands, four digits instead of three. I looked at my feet three front toes, and one at the back, instead of just two in front and one at the back.
I stood up and shrank myself to the size of an ant. I grew back to normal size.
“Sweet, now I can go giant, give others the one finger salute, be heat resistant and heavily armored, and walk on or smash clouds!” I said admiring my new upgrades.
I looked at the time in my HUD.-11:00 A.M. season 1episode 16: sonic rainboom- ‘looks like its time to watch Rainbow do the sonic rainboom, this is going to be fun’
I began walking out of my bunker and closed the door and locked it on my way out. I activated my wings and took off at mach 8. ‘0 to 6138.153 in 3.5 seconds, awesome, I’m not even slowing from the tungsten plating.
I made my way to Cloudsdale, and disengaged my wings, but I kept going. I saw Twilight and friends landing on the cloud. I spread out my limbs and prepared for impact.
It was anti-climactic. I forgot I was landing on clouds so instead of a crash, it was more like a boiyoyoying.
“Hey girls! Hope I’m not late” I said surprising them.
“REX? What are you doing here?” asked Twilight.
“I wanted to be in the air show, and take a tour in the factory” I said bluntly.
“Excuse me darling but.... have you been........ working out? You seem a little bigger!” said Rarity. I noticed she now had butterfly wings.
“Yer right he is a bit bigger, what have you been doing REX?” asked Applejack.
“I’ve been upgrading, Now I have more fingers, My plating is now made of tungsten, I can walk on and touch clouds, and another thing I won’t tell you about, nice wings Rarity, by the way” I said, making them look at me in shock, and Rarity with a blush, and waving it off.
“How long did that take?” asked Twilight, seeming worried.
“2 hours, it’s been getting faster with my upgrades every time” I said. Twilight was beginning to seem worried.
“Wait did you say you’re going to be in the air show? Ooooh what are you gonna do?” asked Pinkie.
“I planned to go after Rainbow Dash, I was gonna do a few air tricks, maybe show off a few of my abilities” I said making a smile.
“You better not steal my thunder!” said Rainbow getting in my face.
I thought back to the sonic rainboom and how she saved the Wonderbolts and Rarity. “I’m not trying to, I just think it would be awesome to see a robot doing air tricks” I said, making Rainbow back off.
“Fluttershy you've been awful quiet, anything you wanna say?” I asked in a calm tone.
“I’m fine” said Fluttershy.
I checked my HUD, and checked to see if there was any more material to upgrade my wrist lasers into flamethrowers/plasma cannons. Just enough, I just needed something that can burn. But what could I use.
—Later—
We were at the Rainbow factory and me and Pinkie were about to drink some Rainbow.
Rainbow was about to warn us but I interrupted her. “Quiet Skittles! I’m gonna taste this rainbow and you can’t stop me!” I Yelled at Rainbow.
Pinkie brought her head up and she began breathing fire. I came up and just stood there. “Ha ha, lightweight!” I said laughing at Pinkies misfortune.
I cloaked myself and went to the ground by turning off my cloud walking gear. I landed with a large THUDD.
I was in a large clearing. I began upgrading my lasers into flamethrowers by using the liquid Rainbow. I brought them out and tested them by aiming at the sky. Instead of flames or plasma, I got Rainbow lasers.
“Look a double rainbow all the way across the sky! What does it mean?” said a random pony, up in Cloudsdale.
“Ok, that was not what I had in mind” I said recalculating. I then tried again, and got a normal pair of flamethrowers. They shot off at stream of 141 feet and burned at 1832° F or 1000°C. “Dang, just like the ones from WW2” I said to myself as I stopped the streams.
I retracted the lasers and activated my wings and took to the sky. I met up with Rainbow Dash as she was sighing up. I engaged my cloud walking gear and got up to sign up next.
I went inside and they put a number tag on my leg, #15. ‘Oh Rainbow is gonna want this one, but I’m not gonna give it to her cuz I’m an ass’
—Later—
Rainbow was about to take my number. I aimed a flamethrower at her and let out a 7 inch puff. “Touch my number and you burn” I said staring her down, at least I think I'm staring her down. Rainbow backed away slowly, believing my bluff.
The time came when me Rainbow and Rarity had to perform. I kept doing arial acrobatics and showing off a few weapons by hitting or cutting a target. I saw Celestia and she began looking at me in worry. Not for herself probably, possibly for her subjects. Then Rarity went the way of Icarus and fell. ‘Why does every sentient being have to disobey warnings? Twilight told her the wings were fragile! I’m not gonna help her, she was warned and didn’t heed the warning, besides Rainbow’s already on it, but sh might need help with the Wonderbolts’ I began flying up then stalled and went backwards and flew down. I picked up speed by disengaging my wings. Since tungsten is pretty dense I started letting gravity do most of the work. Rainbow made her sonic rainboom and I made my own sonic boom as I engaged my wings again. I few fast and caught a few Wonderbolts, while Rainbow caught Rarity and a few more Wonderbolts. We flew back up and brought all of them to safety.
After they were safe I flew off back home. I didn’t want to be around the ponies for any longer.
On my way I decided to pick up some donuts at Sugarcube Corner. Luckily I had a few bits that I kept collecting over the years. I had Celestia give me a bank account after she allowed me to stay in the Everfree forest, and it continues to collect interest.
I landed in front of Sugarcube Corner. It was a large building that looked like a gingerbread house. I walked in and got a few odd stares. I walked in front of the counter. “H-hello sir, can I help you?” asked mrs. Cake.
I looked at the pastries on display. It was filled with tons of mouth watering sweets.
“Hmmm, yeah I’d like a dozen old fashioned donuts, a dozen donuts with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles, and...... a 3 dozen glazed donut holes” I said with a smile.
“Would that be for here or to go?” asked mrs. Cake.
“To go please” I said smiling.
Mrs Cake punched in my order and got my order ready. When she came back she had two boxes of donuts, and a few bags of donut holes. “Will there be anything else sir?” She asked.
“You have any cheesecake?” I asked.
“Anything special or plain” asked mrs. Cake.
“Just plain is fine, thank you” I said as he brought out the cheesecake.
“That will be 47 bits please” said mrs. Cake.
I opened my right leg panel and mrs. Cake saw my Darksaber. She cringed when she thought I was reaching for it, but relaxed when she saw that I brought out a bag of bits.
I took out 68 bits and put them on the counter. “You can keep the extra, for the little ones” I said surprising her.
“H-how did you know?” she asked.
I opened my vizor. “X-ray, and I can zoom in” I said closing my vizor. To that she just stared at me.
I grabbed my things, put away my bits, and left. I started walking to the market and found a few stalls. I bought multiple fruits, vegetables, and spices, and went back home to my bunker.
I put away my groceries and took out one of the pink frosted donuts with sprinkles.
I took a seat on my red comfy couch and took a bite. “Mmmmm donuts” I said relaxing into the couch.
I was interrupted from my donut induced ecstasy by a knock on the door. “Uuuugh” I grumbled as I got up. I made my way to the door and opened it.
It was Princess Celestia, and she did not look happy. “Princess what brings you here to my little hovel, uh oh, somepony has a frowny face” I said doing my best at a mock pout.
“What did you do to my guards” she asked.
‘Wow, right to the point’
“You should really give them better training in the art of stealth, and everything else, your guards are laughable, you need to be a little harder on them, and you should seriously have get ponies to stop being so xenophobic, I mean seriously, it’s ridiculous” I said, her frown unaffected.
“You made them all into nervous wrecks, they all jumped off of the edge of Canterlot!” said Celestia.
“Its not my fault you’re guards are terrible” I said making her angry. “I didn’t tell them to jump off a cliff, they did it themselves, I would never harm any of your ponies unless I felt they deserved it, even then I would never kill them if I didn’t feel it was necessary, you coming here just means you are angry and trying to find someone to aim it towards, well hit me if you want but you’ll only hurt yourself” I said coming out of the house only for her to hit me in the chest with her right forehoof.
She hit me with her left, then right, and kept hitting me, until she began bleeding. I just stood there and took it. She kept going until she began crying. “Fight back! I’m attacking you! Why won’t you hit back!?!” She cried.
“Because you’re not attacking me, you’re attacking yourself, look at yourself, you’re bleeding, you may be an adult but you are still a spoiled child that throws a tantrum when she doesn’t get what she wants” I said taking her hooves and healing them with a wave of my hand.
“When did you learn to do that” she asked, wiping away her tears.
“Just now, I gave myself an upgrade so I have the ability to heal organic organisms” I said calmly. “Go home, be with your sister, and don’t come back here, I want to be left alone” I said as I walked into my bunker.
I went over to the kitchen and put away my donuts and cheesecake in my fridge. I went over to my couch and I shut myself down.
