“Ok Tunneler be good for Ms. Cheerilee, and I will be back later to walk you home” said Fluttershy.

‘I already graduated high school, and now I have to go all the way back and end up in pony kindergarten, just so I can learn how to speak and read again, how humiliating’

“B-b-bye F-f-f-flutt-t-t-tersh-sh-shy” I said. I could see Diamond Tiara with Silver Spoon, and no doubt they think I’m retarded.

Ms. Cheerilee showed me to my seat in the back. I sat down and saw all the stares I was getting.

The bell rang, which hurt my ears. ‘even in pony form Graboids are sensitive to loud sounds, good to know’

“Ok students this pony in the back is your new classmate, his name is Tunneler, he needs to learn how to read, write and speak, so treat him nicely” said Ms. Cheerilee 

“Yes Ms. Cheerilee” said all the students.

Then Ms. Cheerilee began teaching. The time went by pretty quickly. ‘Dang, I guess This wasn’t such a bad idea, she makes learning fun!’

The bell rang signaling lunchtime. And again it hurt my ears. 

All the ponies and I went outside to have lunch. ‘Fluttershy packed me a good lunch, apples, a Pb and J, a juice box,and oooh cookies!.... this place is getting to me’

“Hi there” said a familiar voice. 

I looked for where it came from and saw the CMC. I smiled. “C,M,C, hi” I said. 

“You know us?” asked Sweetie Belle.

I pointed to my cutie mark. They looked at it then their eyes turned to pinpricks.

“Tunneler it’s you” said Applebloom. They all tackled onto me in a hug.

“How are you a pony?” asked Scootaloo.

“D-d-dis-disc-Discord” I said. With that they understood.

“Why are you talking like that?” asked Applebloom. 

“Wait, he had a beak when he was a Graboid, he has lips now, he must be having trouble speaking because he hasn’t learned how to use them properly” said Sweetie Belle. They all looked to me. I nodded to confirm her theory.

“Hey look the blank flanks are talking to the retard” said Diamond Tiara. 

‘Ok, if I was still a Graboid, I would definitely eat her, wait, no she would just give me indigestion’

as soon as she got close I quickly stole her tiara with one of my tongues. “Huh, hey give that back” she said, as I held it with my hoof, just out of her reach, so I could mock her. I just raised an eyebrow. I then took her tiara and covered it in my own natural chemicals that allow me to soften the dirt for digging. Then I struck it with a special rock and lit the thing on fire and had her watch it melt. She looked at me in shock. 

“N-n-not r-r-retard, j-just c-c-can’t t-t-talk w-well” I said. 

She began to cry and walked away. I began to smile. ‘Yes, take that you little bitch, maybe next time you’ll think twice before messing with someone!’

I ate my lunch and played with the CMC.
Then the bell rang and I covered my ears with my hooves. “Loud n-noise h-hurts” I said.

I then walked inside and got to my seat. The rest of the day went by fast. As soon as the bell rang again, everypony went outside. I found Fluttershy waiting for me.
“Hello Tunneler, how was your day at school?” she asked.

“It was fun, c-can’t wait to c-c-come back” I said surprising her. “G-g-Graboids are fast l-l-learners” I said. 

Fluttershy smiled at me. “I’m glad you had fun and were able to learn to speak better” she said. 

“M-meet you at home” I said jumping up and digging down. I felt that she wasn’t moving so I want back and popped my head up. She didn’t look happy, which made me frown.
I got completely out of the ground and she began to walk, and I followed.
‘I can’t wait to come back’
