Shaggy, Scooby, Pinkie and Applejack were following Janice, who was heading towards the storage area. Something about Janice seemed off to the group and they thought she could be a suspect.
"She's heading for the storage area, that's where our other friends are!" Said Pinkie Pie panicking.
"Like what do we do now?" Said Shaggy, also panicking.
"Alright, listen up," Said Applejack looking confident. "As soon as she opens the door that place, I'll make a run at her and push her into the room, then Y'all come over and shut the door so we can be alone with her."
"Rat if she roots a rire rall rat us?" Said Scooby.
"Scuse me?" Said Applejack raising an eyebrow.
"What Scooby is trying to say is what if she bakes us with one of her fireballs?" Said Pinkie Pie.
"Then I'll just kick her" Said Applejack.
"Like wowie," Said Shaggy surprised, "I forgot how brutal you are."
"Lets do it!" Said Pinkie Pie.
Shaggy, Scooby and Pinkie Pie stood back as Applejack got ready to charge. As soon as Janice got the door and opened it, Applejack made a run for it. She galloped hard and fast towards the doorway and leapt, crashing into someone on the other side.
"GAH!" Yelled a voice, "Feels like a train hit me."
"Whoops" Said Applejack, "Sorry, Fred."
Applejack had tackled Fred by mistake. Velma, Daphne, Fluttershy, Rarity and Rainbow Dash ran to the pair as Fred got up.
"You alright there sugar cube?" Asked Applejack.
"Fine, yea, that was a good tackle" Said Fred brushing his shirt.
"Good? Try awesome" Said Rainbow Dash holding out her hoof for a hoof bump but Applejack shook her head.
"What on earth was that for?" Said Rarity.
"Like we thought you were Janice, our guide." Said Shaggy.
"And you decided to tackle her." Said Daphne.
"Her idea" Said Scooby, pointing a paw at Applejack.
"Did you find anything?" Asked Fluttershy.
"Only that Janice is a weird lady, she talked to us a bit funny." Said Shaggy.
"I don't know if we can mark her as a suspect just because she talks a bit weird, guys" Said Fred.
"How about the fact that she vanished into thin air?" Said Applejack.
It was true, Janice had vanished as Applejack was running at Fred, the rest of the group should've seen her.
"Ok that's a little weird" Said Daphne.
"We found a hole in the floor in this room, we believe Twilight's element is down there." Explained Rarity.
"What if that Janice already found the element and that's why she was able to disappear?" Said Rainbow Dash.
The whole group fell silent thinking about what Rainbow Dash had said when a phone began to ring.
Fred pulled his phone out of his pocket and answered.
"Hello? Velma? What did you two find? Whoah, ok then. Listen, meet us back at the Mystery Machine. Ok, bye." Fred finished the call and hung up and turned to the others.
"Ok, so it turns out there might be money buried under the convention." Said Fred.
"Like gold?" Said Applejack.
"Gold, cash, silver coins, lots of money" Said Fred, "Tartarus could be after that and not the element."
"Well how are we gonna stop him?" Said Rainbow Dash.
"Like you took him down easily the last time we saw him, you can do it again" Said Shaggy.
"Well we can't just punch and kick him, we'll need to set up a trap." Said Fred.
"You're thinking of one right now, aren't you? Said Daphne.
"Yes I am, and it's gonna be a good one."
