In the era times of Equestria, many heroes in the past have endured against villains who have despise Harmony.
No matter the dangers and losing there loved ones in battle, the Equestrian heroes would always prevail.
However, neither of the sentients around the world knows that the peaceful times would soon come to an end.
In the several years passing, the end has come for both Harmony, Order, and Chaos.
Which lead to the downfall of Canterlot, Ponyville, Manehatten, Cloudsdale, Wonderbolts Academy, Griffon Empire, Dragon Lands, Changeling Hive, and many more.
All because of the ones responsible for this whole mess; Draconequus, Element Bearers, and Ponyville.
At the pyramid site in the Badlands, loud screams can be heard at the peak top.
Four figures are being chained up and brutally tortured by the griffon guards.
The four figures is the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony; Eris, former Prince of Ponyville; Dusk Shine Sparkle, former Prince of the Crystal Empire; Cadence, and the former Queen of the Crystal Empire; Umbra.
Griffon guards continue to beat the four up until a dark voice spoke.
"That's enough, as much as I love to watch them beaten and burned to a crispy meal, we need them alive for there final hour. The Empress will be here in a few minutes so you best not to disappoint her." The voice says.
The guards nodded before spitting at them four and walking back, waiting for the Empress.
Former purple prince named Dusk weakly look up, hearing a familiar voice.
"S-Spikette, wh-what happen to you? W-Why are you siding with. . .w-with. . ."
The former dragon of Ponyville growls at Dusk.
"I abandon that name a long time, dear brother. I am known as the terror dragon; Abilos. Now I serve my loyal duty with her where you have not only failed as a prized pupil of the sun, but also failed at being the true prince of friendship."
Shocked at hearing his own sister say it to him, he put his head down and his eyes were in tears, losing another member in his life. Deep down inside, his sister was right all along. He truly is a failure not just as a pupil or prince, but failing as a brother to his own sister and family.
A part of his mind says it's not his fault, but his heart says otherwise since it wasn't just his fault, it was also the faults of his own friends and the residents in Ponyville.
Yet the one he also thinks who's responsible the most, it's Butterscotch's friend; ERIS.
"Presenting the current new Empire of all the lands; Empress Jessica Wright!"
Dusk, Eris, Cadence, and Umbra hear the footsteps coming close to the top peak. The four of them knew there deaths are drawing near and there's no escape this time. Though the three turn heads and glare at Eris, who just looks away.
As footsteps were approaching at the top, the four were shocked in surprise and fear when they see Empress Jessica Wright's new appearance. She has worn a helmet underneath her face, but her long hair still shows. The eight wings on her back shows four angel on the right and four devil wings on the left, including an armor tail a bit above her butt.
"You have returned to us, majesty. How was your trip outside the borders?" Abilos says, bowing to her.
"No need to bow for me, dear Abilos. I did have both have a terrific and bored time, though I do can give some credit for the Kingdoms like Dainn Stonehoof and Zebra Chieftain. They were a pain in the ass, but I did everyone a mere favor by getting rid of those foolish dogs who thinks they are more superior than women."
Empress Jessica then eyed the four who are chained up and showing the bruises.
"Speaking of my time away, how goes the interrogation for the prisoners?"
"So far so good Empress, there spirits and wills are broken. I've also dealt with the other prisoners by killing some of them as an example, including the annoyance of a spying mole who we have caught a few months back."
"Fantastic work, prepare for the broadcast. It's time to let them all witness my reign of power."
Abilos nods as she orders the guards to get the equipment ready. Empress Jessica meanwhile slowly walks over to the four chained up sentient species criminals. The mere sight of them disgusts her deeply, but she brushes that aside as she begins to make her speech.
"You know, I do have to thank both Eris and Dusk Shine here. Had these foolish residents in Ponyville welcomed me with open hooves instead of giving into Eris's chaotic antics, I wouldn't be an Empress."
She walks back and forth, keeping a glancing eye on them.
"Then again, it's far too late now. The blood is stain on their own hooves and there's no way to get it off since you two and the rest's actions have killed the only true friends who doesn't think of me as an abomination nor being a different kind amongst the living realm."
The empress sighs as she looks up in the darkening skies.
"In order to cleanse the broken past, I must get rid of all the Xenomorphic parasites out of existence for the true peace of Order and Chaos across this tainted world that I first stepped in. So far I and my army have gotten rid most of them, all that remains are you four in particular."
Dusk tries to open his mouth for words, but he didn't spoke since it was pointless to talk some sense into her as he felt a lot of regrets, including the regret of slamming the door to her face five years ago.
Empress Jessica sees this and merely scoffs at him.
"Save your pathetic apologies and rotten excuses, it's all going to be over soon enough."
"We're all set up here your majesty." Abilos informed her.
"Excellent work, at least I treat my loyal soldiers and close ones in good care, right Dusk Shine?"
Dusk heard it, but didn't comment back as his ears lowered in shame.
"Humph, too damn weak to talk back. Some "Alicorn Prince" you turn out to be. Broadcast is live in 5. 4. 3. 2. 1."
The wide screen in front of her, revealing multiple smalls screens of sentient species around the world watching her. What the guards don't know is that Cadence and Umbra nod as they made a plan of escape.
"Greetings everyone around the world, I am known to all as Empress Jessica Wright. Behind me is the execution grounds for the volunteers of Eris, Dusk Shine, Cadence, and Umbra. But before we get to the starting ceremony, let me tell you a little tale from several years ago when a mere female human appeared in Equestria."
Umbra began her small shadow magic as they split up to cut the chains.
"The female human only wanted to find food & shelter in this new uncharted world. What did she get in return? Neglect, talked down, thrown rocks, lightning strikes, bucked, even mob abused. It was too much for her to handle and she wanted to end her life & suffering, until two young pony twins have saved her life."
Empress Jessica began to remember her dark memories of her journey in Equestria. From being a victim by the harsh reality of Equestria that she saw on television. All the way towards her innocence broken and having no choice, but to enact her war on Harmony and Chaos of those who've messed up big time.
"At first, she thought they were going to strike behind her back, but they didn't and only wanted to care for her like a true friend would. Things did seem to go well for the three, until a disaster event happen and the female human has tragically lost the two pony twin, by the darkest monsters in Ponyville. So, if these monsters wanted to take something precious from her, then she'll take something more precious from them as well."
While Empress Jessica Wright continues her speech, Dusk Shine glances to see Cadence and Umbra cutting the chains using the small amount of magic.
"Cadence? Umbra? What are you doing? They'll kill you." Dusk whispers.
"Don't worry about us Dusk, after we break the chains out, we'll buy you and Eris some time to escape from the Empress and her guards. Do what you have to do and escape out of the border as quickly as you can." Cadence whispers back.
"B-But, neither of you can stand a chance against her. Why are you sacrificing your life for us? Me and Eris were the ones who caused this whole mess to begin with, not you two."
"I know that, but in her final moments, Gleaming Armor told me to protect you at all costs. No matter if I did forgive you or not, I won't let Gleaming's last request be in vain."
Dusk paused of hearing Gleaming speak her final words to Cadence. His heart ached from feeling the loss of his idolizing big sister, but he did hope in the afterlife Gleaming would see there parents again.
"O-Okay."
The plan is almost done as Empress Jessica is close to finishing up her tale.
"Now here we stand years later; Harmony has fallen, Chaos is in pure disorder, Equestria lays in ruins, and the town in Ponyville is completely wiped from existence for good. Who better than the ones who have made my life a living hell or Tartarus as they called it? Give a round of applause to them everyone!"
She merely claps her hands together, but the ones on screen didn't clap back.
"Huh? No clap backs for our false heroes? This is most surprising indeed my fellow audience. Anyways, that ends my tale as I begin a new one, by cleansing the last monsters and the reigning era of Empress Jessica Wright commences forth."
"Uh Empress, the prisoners are breaking free." Abilos says, pointing at them.
Empress Jessica turns around and sees the three breaking the chains off Eris.
"Not to worry Abilos, I knew that one of them has some magic left."
Grinning under her helmet, she pulls out two swords from her waists, igniting them in blue flames.
Hearing the ignited flames, Cadence and Umbra gave a part of magic to Dusk and Eris.
"Dusk, Eris, get out of here. We'll buy you some time." Cadence says.
"B-But Cad-"
"I won't ask a second time Dusk, now go! That's my last order as your former Prince of the Crystal Empire!"
Seeing Cadence pleading in her voice and not looking at him, Dusk had no choice, but to carry Eris down the pyramid to escape while a part of him is heart broken of leaving his brother-in-law behind.
"Should we go after them, your grace?" Abilos asked in suggestion.
"No, no, I'll let my new creation chase after them for us. Let those wolves in sheep clothing cowards run like rats in an impossible maze of despair."
She then flaps her eight wings as both Cadence and Umbra make a last stand.
"For now though, everyone will witness half of the execution commences as I enjoy tearing apart the former prince and queen of the Crystal Empire! Let this be a harsh lesson around the Equestria world to those who would dare cross against my order upon the lands!"
Some minutes later, Dusk made a few teleportation and arrive at the destroyed ruins of Ponyville.
Completely exhausted from using too much magic, Dusk plops down on the ground to rest up.
"I know what you were going to say to me at the peak Dusk."
He heard Eris's weak voice as he turns his head to see her in a depressive state.
"It's true, I'm the reason who has turned an innocent sentient human into something else beyond Tartarus. Had I reconsider the consequences of my mischief actions back then, your friends and family might still be alive. I know it's a very bad time to say this, but I'm truly sorry for causing the chaos mess in every pony's heads and casting out an innocent human."
Dusk didn't say anything, but merely gets up and drags Eris's body.
"It'll be a very long time before I forgive you." he coldly says.
"I got it."
Arriving at his ruined castle, he searches for any remaining book that weren't destroyed yet.
He finds a surviving book and flips over the pages until he found something.
"Bingo."
Getting out of the ruined castle, he walks back to Eris and shows him a page part.
"I know of a way to get out of Equestria's borders quickly."
"Are you sure it's wise to Dusk?"
"Positive Eris, look as much as I don't like being around you, we don't have any other choice. So here's the plan, you create a portal while I conjure up a magic spell to have it transport us in a safe spot. Can you do that Eris?"
Eris ponders in thought, on the one hand it might backfire, on the other it's back to the peak pyramid. Either way, the two of them don't have much time left as the Empress's guards will be on there way.
"A-Alright, I don't have many chaos magic left, but I'll give it a shot."
So the two took a few minutes for preparation of a magic portal plan.
Dusk formulated the notes in his book while Eris puts her chaos magic in use to form a small circle.
After Dusk examines the notes, he uses his remaining magic to mix the chaos magic. When the plan is complete, they both see the portal shine in, revealing a small land of trees and life.
"There, this should give us a chance to flee here and-"
He felt a tap on his shoulder and sees Eris's body shaking in fear.
"Um Dusk, w-we have company."
Dusk turns his head and his eyes widen in horror. A mechanical humanoid figure holding two deceased stallions in it's claws.
"C-Cherilee? V-Vinyl?"
The mech figure flings the deceased ponies away and roaring, walking over to the survivors.
"This is bad. This is very, very, very bad." Eris panics.
While Dusk also shivers in fear by seeing everything has gone worse, an idea he thought back at the peak.
In a desperate gamble plan, Dusk grabs Eris's face and looks at her.
"Eris, for once in your life, I need you to listen to me. Once you get across the portal, make sure this whole mess doesn't happen ever again and learn from your mistakes or I swear to every pony that I won't forgive you forever. This is my final orders to you as a former prince of Equestria."
"D-D-Dusk, what are you saying? I can't leave you here with that. . . t-that-"
"Do you understand Eris?! Yes or No?!" He shouted to her.
She felt tears in her eyes, both in pain and sadness on not knowing of what to do. She only had two choices, either stay here and die with Dusk or survive another day.
With a heavy heart inside, Eris nods to him.
"O-Okay Dusk, I'll do it."
Hearing the tough choice to make, Dusk makes one last hug with Eris while the mecha monster draws in closer. Breaking away from the hug, he uses a small amount of magic to change the portal direction to a different one.
"Remember Eris; Don't just do it for all of us, do it for Butterscotch and the lost innocent soul."
Saying his final words, Dusk Shine pushes Eris inside the portal before he confronts the mech.
Eris sees Dusk ready to buck the mech as the portal closes and she shouts in tears.
"DUUUUSK SHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNE!!!!!"
