The next morning I awoke to the sound of three little girls screaming. I began screaming too. "SKREEEEEEE!"
"Girls stop scaring him!" Said Fluttershy. The girls looked to Fluttershy. "We are scaring that thing?" exclaimed Scootaloo.
"That thing has a name, and it's Tunneler, now go apologize, here give him an apple" said Fluttershy, hoofing each girl an apple. I heard them walk closer, then I opened my mouth and grabbed each apple with my tongues and brought them into my mouth. I couldn't hear anything but Fluttershy giving her chickens their feed.
"That was awesome!" said Scootaloo. I then began to move to a good spot and began to dig. I kept digging down until I found a rock, it seemed lighter than what it should have been. I opened my mouth and grabbed it and began digging straight up. I over did it with how fast I was going. I dropped the rock as soon as I was at the top of my ark, I then began digging again as soon as I came down. I dug all the way back to my spot next to Fluttershy's cottage. I then crawled over to the rock and rolled it to the three fillies. I screed to Fluttershy. "He wants you to break it open" said Fluttershy.
"Why can't he break it open?" asked Sweetie belle. I skreed to Fluttershy. "He said he can't dig through solid rock, so he can't break it" said Fluttershy. I crawled over to my spot and sat there. I could hear the little fillies trying to break the rock. But they just couldn't break it. Then I could hear a pony coming this way. I began digging down into the ground to hide.
"Where is he going" asked Applebloom. "I don't know" said Fluttershy. 'So glad Graboids have excellent hearing'. "Fluttershy darling, it's time for us to go to the spa" said Rarity. 'Thought so'. I began digging around and brought my tongues up behind Rarity and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Hmm, AAAAAAH" screamed Rarity. I brought them back down and went over to Scootaloo and brought one tongue up to and I closed it to give a fist bump which she understood and gave me a bump. "Fluttershy what were those things" shrieked Rarity. "That was Tunneler, those were his tongues, he just wanted to say hello" said Fluttershy in her cute innocent way. "Tongues? What kind of creature is he!?!" Asked Rarity. "He's a Graboid" said Fluttershy.
I began digging up and behind Fluttershy and let only half of me show. Fluttershy turned around and looked up. "Tunneler say hello to Rarity" said Fluttershy. But when Fluttershy turns back to look at Rarity, she's gone. "Where'd she go?" asked Fluttershy. I then went back underground and began digging my way to a pond.
I came up and began swimming through the water. The CMC ran to the edge to watch. "Cool" they said in unison. I did a few spins in the water then came on land. I then proceeded to dig into the ground and dig my way back to my special spot, but Then I heard hoof steps coming.
"Hey Fluttershy, Applejack tells me you are caring for a new animal, where is it?" asked Twilight. "He should be digging around here somewhere" said Fluttershy. I began to slowly surface and get to my spot. "SKREEEEEEEEE!" I roared making Spike and Twilight scream. I then settled down and kept my mandibles closed. "What is that thing!?!" asked spike. "Tunneler, is a Graboid" said Fluttershy. "I've never heard of anything like that" said Twilight looking through her books. I can hear the pages turning.
"Fluttershy, would it be alright if I studied him?" asked Twilight. I skreed to Fluttershy. "He said its ok with him" said Fluttershy. "Wait, he can understand us?" asked Spike. I lifted my head up and nodded. "Amazing, no other worm is this intelligent, I must begin studying him right away!" Said Twilight.
---Later---
We were next to Twilight's library and I could tell that ponies did not like seeing a Graboid. "Hmm, could you open up your mouth please" asked Twilight. I did as she asked and let her examine my tongues.
"Ok you can close your mouth now" she said. I began getting antsy. 'I want to move somewhere, anywhere!, wait which episode is this?' I heard Rarity's hoofsteps. I began to dig down as fast as I could. I stopped and began to listen.
"Come Twilight, darling, its time for us to be on our way to Manehattan, I have a fashion competition to enter" said Rarity.
'Hmm, Rarity takes Manehattan, season 4 episode 8, well that answered my earlier question, but at least I know Twilight is an alicorn, and that I'm in season 4, oh shit, that means I'm two episodes away from three's a croud episode 11, where they finde a Tatzelwurm, although in original mythology it looks more like a cat with a serpent's body, ok, getting off topic, huh, oh crap their leaving'
I began following them from underground, I made sure to stay close, but not enough that I was obvious.
"Tunneler Go home, do not follow us to Manehattan" said Fluttershy sternly. I began digging through the dirt towards Fluttershy's cottage, when I heard Mrs. Cake leave out another pie, I made my way over quietly, then stopped. 'This has to be a trap' I could hear Mrs. cake shuffle around with a broom.
'Nope, not gonna fall for that'
I began to continue digging my way to Fluttershy's cottage, as soon as I made it there I decided to go to Sweet Apple acres, to get a little snack. I arrived in a few minutes, I made my way to one of the trees and began to come out of the ground, I got closer to one of the trees and was about to take an apple, until I heard Big Mac stamping a hoof, I moved my head to him, I was caught.
I hung my head and began digging away, I made my way over to Fluttershy's cottage and began to dig deeper, I kept digging until I was at least 300 feet deep. I began to make a burrow, which wasn't easy, mostly due to Graboids excreting a chemical to soften dirt, it took me a while but I finally finished my little burrow. I began to curl up and fall asleep and wait for Fluttershy to come back.
