"Like, he's gaining on us!" shouted Shaggy as he and the gang bolted into the main area in the convention building.
"Hey birdie, have some cake!" Pinkie Pie, running next to Shaggy pulled a cake from out of her fluffy mane and threw it at Tartarus who completely ignored getting cake on him and continued flying after them.
"Order up" Pinkie said as she throws another cake at Tartarus still with no effect.
"Stop feeding him cake!" Velma said running in front of Pinkie.
"I'm not feeding him cake" Pinkie shouted, "I'm assaulting him with cake!"

The gang and ponies made to the center of the room with nowhere else to run to as Tartarus was soaring above them.

"What in Celestia's name do you want?" said Rarity, hiding behind Fred.
"The treasure," said Tartarus hovering over them, "I want the treasure."
"There's no treasure here," said Fred, "This is just a convention"
"You really have no idea what is here, do you?" said Tartarus, "Very well, if you won't leave me alone then you will have to perish" A flaming ball appears in Tartarus's hand as he raises it to throw at the group.

Suddenly, Tartarus was struck by what appeared to be a beam of rainbow colored light and he falls down to the floor.

"What was that??" Tartarus said getting up off the floor, "Show yourself!" he demanded.
"Hey bird brain!" a voice called out, then another beam of light shoots out at Tartarus, sending him flying into a stand.

The gang and ponies looked and saw what had saved them. A light blue figure floated down to the group and The Mystery gang could not believe what they were seeing. The figure was a bright blue pony with a rainbow colored mane and tail. She had Magenta colored eyes and a marking on her flank. It was a picture of a cloud with a lightning bolt coming out of it but the bolt had the colors red, yellow and blue on it. She also appeared to have wings.

Finally the pony spoke, "You guys alright?"

The gang didn't answer, they were just saved by a flying pony who looked like a child's drawing.

"WOOOO!" Pinkie Pie shouted, "That was amazing, Dashie"
"I know," the pony smiled, "I'm awesome"
"You could've arrived sooner" complained Rarity.
"I was busy" said the pony, "Besides, you could've handled it, you have magic"
"But I'm not some self centered sporty Pegasus who loves looking at herself in the mirror'
"She's right Dashie" said Pinkie Pie joining in on the conversation, "Rarity is a self centered Unicorn who loves looking at herself in the mirror"
"Right, thank you for that Pinkie Pie" Rarity said putting a hoof to her face.

Finally Fred spoke up, "Ok, who are you?"
The blue Pegasus turned to Fred and smiled, "I'm Rainbow Dash" she said flying up with her wings
"The coolest and fastest Pegasus there is" Rainbow Dash said doing a pose.
"Let me guess," Velma said, "You're here looking for a magical artifact too?"
"Yea, how did you know?" asked Rainbow Dash landing on the ground.
"Are you all ok, we heard screaming" said a voice and the group turns around.

3 more ponies run up to the gang and other 3 ponies. One of them was a light purple unicorn with a dark purple mane and tail with a pink stripe on each. She had purple eyes and her flank had a picture what looked like a pink 6 point star surrounded by white sparkles. The second pony was a bright yellow Pegasus with a pink mane and tail, blue eyes and had mark on her flank consisting of 3 Butterflies. The third pony didn't have wings or a horn. She was an orange pony with green eyes, a blonde mane and tail, her mane and tail appeared to be tied like ponytails. She had a brown cowboy hat and a mark on her flank that resembled 3 red Apples. They gang looked at Pinkie Pie and Rarity and realized they had marks on their flanks too. Pinkie Pie's mark was 3 balloons, one yellow, two of them blue and Rarity's mark was 3 diamonds.

"Hi Twilight Sparkle, hi Fluttershy hi Applejack!" said Pinkie Pie pointing to the purple, yellow and orange ponies.
"What in tarnation happened?" Asked Applejack.
"Some bird man in a cape was chasing after us and about to bake us like a pie" Said Rarity.
"It looked more like he was going to fry you" said Rainbow Dash.
"Well obviously he was gonna bake us like a cake" said Pinkie Pie jumping 
"Doesn't matter what he was going to do you, at least your safe" said Twilight.

Fred looked down and saw Fluttershy avoiding eye contact with everyone and had her head turned.

"Hi, I'm Fred, what's your name?" Fred asked.
Fluttershy spoke with a soft and quiet voice, "I'm...Fluttershy"
"There's no need to be scared, we're all friends here." Said Fred.
Fluttershy looked up at Fred, "Sorry, I've always been shy around everyone" Fluttershy said.
"Hate to cut the chit-chat, but can we find out who this feller is?" Applejack said pointing to Tartarus still on the wrecked stand.
"The little girl is right, let's see who this bird man really is" said Velma and the whole group walks over to the stand.
"Little girl?" asked Applejack with a raised eyebrow, "Sugar cube, I'm not a Filly, I'm a grown pony"
Velma stopped and the rest of the group stopped and looked at her.

"Look, this was fun while it lasted, but this is no time for fun and games, as soon as we unmask Tartarus, you need to fess up." Said Velma to the six ponies.
"Exactly what do you think we are?" asked Twilight.
"You're either kids in costumes or robots, there's no such thing as magic or demons or anything supernatural." said Velma.
"Oh yea" said Pinkie Pie, "If I were a robot, could I do this?"

Pinkie Pie jumped up in the air and expanded like a balloon and then exploded into glitter all over the floor and in a snap she was back to normal like nothing even happened.

"Well that was.....an impressive trick" Velma said, "But that could've been caused by anything, maybe the robot got destroyed and you used illusions to make another robot appear in thin air"
"Or maybe.." Twilight said, "Pinkie Pie has magic, she may be an Earth Pony but she has more abilities and magic than I do."
"Like where did mister bird man go?" Shaggy pointed and the group looked. Shaggy was right, Tartarus had disappeared.
"Well that's just great, while you all were talking nonsense, the bad guy got away" Velma said.
Rarity gasped, "This is not our fault darling, you're the one who decided to stop and have a chat."
"Simmer down you two," Applejack said, "We can find him later, it's dark and I think we're all tired"
"Applejack is right" Said Fred, we need to get out here and find out what Tartarus wants from this place.
"There's a library near by," Said Twilight, "We could do research on this building using old city records."
"Can we get some food first, I'm starving," Said Pinkie Pie.
"Like us too," Said Shaggy with Scooby nodding his head.
"Alright gang and...ponies" Said Fred, "We'll leave, get something to eat and think of a plan for tomorrow."

As they leave, a figure had been watching them from above, a dark blue figure with a horn.
