Dear Diary,

No help has come.  It's been a month.  If no help has arrived by now my worst fears have been realized about other parts of Equestria.  Not much else to update… I did find Rubbish… dead in his office.  He had clearly ignored the Megaspell Drill as I had.  I’ve found other bodies as I’ve been cleaning… it's the only thing keeping me from losing it.  I pushed them aside or shoved them in closets… I’m not equipped to clean corpses.  I’d rather not think about it.  Out of sight, out of mind...

I didn’t have many friends in high school… due in part to being a blank flank.  So I’d been used to being alone.  Even my parents loved me from a bit of a distance.  Here in Applewood I had my cousins, aunt, uncle, Tech, All Set (by proxy, never did meet face-to-face), Job Offer (briefly before his arrest), and even Rubbish was friendly.  Now I’m just alone with my thoughts… It feels far more lonely than my friendless formative years.

I keep replaying the final day over and over, I was so stupid.  Megaspell Drills might be drills, but the ponies who still gave them the sense of urgency are now safely in Stables.  Well maybe not in Mareily Hills… that stable is likely lost… I think it was Stable 83… 

I have decided to go by Megaspell from now on.  Dusty Windswept Sweeps died due to her own stupidity.  Let my name be a reminder that ponies should always take dangerous things seriously.

If only I could edit my employee profile…

P.S. My cutie mark has changed... I didn't think that was possible.  The broom is now on fire by radioactive Balefire... I think that's what it is called... Does this mean my special talent has changed?  I guess it is fitting of my new name... The last thing of my old life is gone...
