Dear Diary,

Been busy collecting Matrix weapons and mentally preparing for attempt 2 on the Executive Offices.  The mental preparation is taking longer than expected.  Guns scare me and I don’t like to be shot at.

Slurry and I had a super long talk about the history of Applewood… or Los Pongelese as it was officially named once upon a time.  Now… lets be honest even back during the war, most ponies called the Thirty Mile Zone "Applewood" thanks to the giant sign that is visible from practically everywhere and has stood the test of time.

Slurry was able to produce a tabloid article about the supposed ministry connections in Applewood.  Winnyland was MoM, Stable-Tec Studios likely MWT, and rumors placed the MoI in charge of Warmer Mares.  According to the article, the Warmers refused to comment and Ministry Mare Rarity denied it.

Though this tabloid was later taken over by the MoI and combined with Variety News.  The article tells of a fire in the studio and how it almost led the studio to bankruptcy.  Then suddenly they had funds to rebuild.  It also says a crime family might be a plausible source of this money, but with Winnyland so close by I doubt it was some mafia pony.

Slurry is looking into studio blueprints of pre and post this alleged fire… as well as any info on this fire.  It was before my time at the studio and was never talked about around the water cooler.  I hope he finds info soon.

The studio has begun their first production, some history of the wasteland thing.  Kinda dry sounding if you ask me, but the new ponies are fun to talk to.  Cadet is a wandering merchant and Forrest is one of those Applejack’s Rangers.  Looks like Cadet set up a permanent shop in the Studio gift shop.  Not sure where or if Forrest has a studio home.  Dare I say the studio is feeling like it did before the apocalypse.

Though I suppose less ponies lived on the lot back then.  I know I dreamed of doing so, and then I did.  Follow your dreams RDR!

Tensions are rising between the gangs.  Variety says there might be a war on the horizon.  Having lived through one, I hope it doesn't happen.
