After a day of asking people about the monster and having fun, The Mystery Gang decided to investigate more after dark. When they arrived at the convention late at night, the gang was greeted by the two guards, Tim and Philip they had met earlier.
"Hey you kids," said Tim, "You all ready to explore this place?"
"Yes we are" said Fred, holding a flashlight.
"Ok, so here's what we'll do," explained Daphne, "Fred, Velma and I will go with Philip and Tim to the security room and check any rooms for employees. Shaggy and Scooby will go check the storage where they keep all the props, balloons and equipment."
Fred raised an eyebrow, "Hey, since when do you get to decide who goes where?"
Fred always led and had the gang split up to search for clues in the past. It used to bother him how many times other members of the gang thought of a plan but he didn't let it bother him because they came up with great ideas.
"Oh," said Daphne surprised, "Sorry, did you have a plan, Fred?"
"No, that's a good plan" said Fred, "Ok, gang, let's get to work"
While Fred, Daphne and Velma went with the guards, Shaggy and Scooby were in the storage area, looking around. As they looked, they saw lots of stuff like fake trees, Paper Mache castles and a funhouse mirror.
"Like wowie, Scoob" Said Shaggy amazed, "This place doesn't look half bad"
"Rea" said Scooby.
"I wonder if they got a Cotton Candy machine or something" said Shaggy.
Of course Shaggy would be thinking of food in a time like this, even during a case about a monster, Shaggy and Scooby were always wanting a snack. They would've been eating Scooby Snacks, their favorite snacks for dogs and people, but they emptied the last box while they were on the road.
Suddenly they heard a noise.
"Zoinks!" panicked Shaggy, "Like what was that?"
"Ri runno raggy" said Scooby nervously.
"Maybe it was just a mouse or maybe one of the people who works here, or-GAH!" screamed Shaggy as he turned around and saw an ugly looking figure in front of him.
"Raggy?" asked Scooby looking at Shaggy.
"Oh whew, it's alright Scoob, it's just the funhouse mirror" Indeed, Shaggy got spooked by his twisted reflection the funhouse mirror.
"Reeheehee" Scooby giggled, "Rot rared ry rat"
"I know right?" said a voice, "That was really funny"
Shaggy and Scooby looked around frantically when they heard the voice. They looked and looked but they didn't see anyone around.
"In here" said the voice as Shaggy and Scooby turned to face the mirror.
Right in front of them in the mirror was a small pink pony looking back at them smiling and waving.
"Hi there!" said the pony
"Oh wow, this mirror has Pinkie Pie," said Shaggy, "I don't remember this from the show"
"What show?" said Pinkie Pie disappearing from the mirror. She didn't poof into smoke or in a flash of light, she was just gone.
"You mean My Little Pony?" Pinkie Pie said, appearing right behind Shaggy and Scooby.
"Or Blue Falcon?" said Pinkie Pie appearing again in the mirror, Shaggy and Scooby looked a bit scared of what was going on.
"Oooh, did you see me in The Banana Splits, whatever that is" said Pinkie Pie appearing behind them.
"Like Zoinks!" said Shaggy, "Are you the Real Pinkie Pie?"
"Weeell.." began Pinkie Pie, "There are 3 of me, four if you count that scary Pinkie"
"Ront remind me" said Scooby nervously
"But there is only one me where I come from, that and a lot of other Pinkie's that live in a magic pool, and that one Pinkie I had pancakes with, oooh, and one time, Discord made a me that was gold, a Gold Pinkie Pie, also.." Pinkie Pie continued rambling on when Shaggy finally stopped her.
"Like hold on," Shaggy began, "You're really Pinkie Pie, you're not some robot or actor in a costume?"
"Of course I'm Pinkie, silly" said Pinkie Pie, "I've never seen the show we're all on but I reeeeally want to, but I can't, I'm working a case"
"Like oh boy" said Shaggy, "Tell me you're not chasing a giant bird man with huge wings and is on fire"
"Okie Dokie Lokie" said Pinkie Pie smiling, "I'm not chasing a giant bird man with huge wings and is on fire"
"Oh good" said Shaggy relieved
"Me and my friends are looking for a magical artifact that has a ton of cool and dangerous power that got lost through a magic portal and may be in this place"
"Like man, why did you have to say that?" said Shaggy
Suddenly, they heard a mysterious laugh booming in the storage area. Things were not looking good for Shaggy, Scooby and their new friend.
