"Whelp, I found the lab, now I just need to take out all the cameras, if any of them still work that is" I said looking around. As I walked through the old lab I shot each camera I saw. Eventually I found a a glowing pod. I walked over to it. I looked at the console and monitor next to it. The screen was covered with dust. I wiped it away and turned the monitor on. I waited for it to start up. 

When it did I checked the last time it was accessed. "40 years?" I said as I read the monitor. I checked the data for what was in the pod. "Bingo, Mewtwo" I said as I read the text. I checked the data for the one in this pod. "Okay, Female, aaaand, terminated project?" I said. I checked through the data. "Mewtwo project terminated due to first experiment being highly aggressive, and uncontrollable" I read. "Huh, guess that's why this ones on ice, but not for long" I said with a grin. 

I uploaded the entire database into my gauntlet and then destroyed the computer. I opened the pod and out flopped an unconscious Mewtwo. I put her over my shoulder and flew out of the lab and went to my camp. I landed in the middle and walked into the tent and put Mewtwo in the bed and tucked her in. I left the tent and got out a pokeball and put it down then I took all my gear off and put it all in my motorcycle's cargo cases. I was left with just my jacket, my goggles, my gauntlet, shirt, pants and shoes. I went and picked up the pokeball and put it in my jacket pocket.

I took my hood off and began setting up the fire. I snapped my fingers and brought the basket full of berries out and put it next to the bike. Once the fire was lit, sat back and relaxed on a log. I looked through the data I uploaded and found nothing special. So I turned it off and got out my electric guitar.

As soon as I finished the song I could hear movement from inside the tent. I kept calm and waited for Mewtwo to come out by making some food, a few eggs, and hash browns from a few few potatoes I packed up. 

I didn't wait long for her to come out. She came out seeming a bit scared. "Glad you're awake, you hungry I'm making some" I began and looked up at the sky to see the sun was setting. "Well, dinner I guess, the foods almost ready" I said. She came out warily. Once the food was ready I made her a plate. I gave her some eggs, hash browns and a few berries. I gave her her plate. She took it after a little while of thinking. I gave her a fork and made my own plate. I sat back and took out my fork and began to eat. She watched me for a few minutes and began to eat herself. As soon as she took a bite she began to smile. "It's good isn't it, I learned how to make the eggs and hash browns, and found good ingredients to make them taste good" I said. "It tastes sooo good" said Mewtwo. I heard that in my head. "I was wondering if you'd be able to talk to me" I said with a smile. "My name's Mamoru, it means Protect" I said to her. "Nice to meet you" said Mewtwo. I took out the pokeball and placed it on the ground close to her. "I'm not going to force you, but, if you'd like, I'd like to have you as my partner, I'm leaving that pokeball there, in case you'd like to stick with me, oh, and remember if you choose to be my partner, there's plenty more food I can make for you if you do" I said with a kind smile. She was hesitant at first then looked at her food, then the pokeball, then at me. She kept staring at me. 'She's reading my mind isn't she' I thought. "Sorry, I just wanted to know more about you" she said. I just gave her a warm smile. "Hey it's alright, just don't do it without my permission next time ok?" I said making her smile back. "I would love to be your Pokémon" She said. "Really? You mean it?" I said getting excited. She just smiled and touched the pokeball and got sucked in. I looked at the ball and watched as it shook a few times, then it lit up green, signifying she had been caught. I picked up the pokeball and let her out. Once she was out she was right next to me and gave me a tight hug, which I returned.

I looked to my gauntlet and turned it off.  We ended our hug and I looked to her. "Ok, we have a long day tomorrow, so we better finish our dinner and get some rest" I said. She smiled and got her plate and continued eating. I did the same. Once we finished, I took our plates and put them into a plastic bag and put it into one of my cases on my bike. 

"Ok you can use the mattress I'll sleep out here" I said only for Mewtwo to pick me up with psychic and bring me into the tent with her and set me down in the bed with her. As soon as I was next to her she cuddled close behind me wrapping an arm around me and closed her eyes. 'Ok, I guess this works too' I think to myself. 

I got myself comfortable. I took off my goggles, placed them on the ground, and made my eyes look normal by waving my hand over them. I closed my eyes. Then I waited for mr. sandman, and went to sleep.
