A masked figure hurried into the alleyway, dragging a young man. The young man was drunk, he had just come out with a friend out of the pub. "Let me go!" he cried. "Please!"
The figure clasped its hands around his throat. "I'll throttle you if you talk," the figure hissed in a menacing, soft, dangerous voice. The young man fell silent. The figure raised its arm high and plunged the knife straight into the heart. Blood spilled like a river burst its banks from it, onto the floor.
A piece of paper was in its hand, as the figure brought a piece of paper with these words:

Age: 16
Height: 5 ft
School: Canterlot High School

The figure then brought a pen out and ticked a box next to his name.
The figure then hurridely folded the paper in half and slipped it in a pocket.
The second murder was just as brutal.
A 21-year-old woman, Lightning Dust, was murdered in a similar way, her throat was slit and had marks where they had fought.
Flash Sentry was sitting with the humane 6, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Sci-Twi on the steps of Canterlot High.

Flash looked up from his paper. "Well, it'll be someone still working, right?" asked Flash. "The 2 murders all happened on Saturday evenings. It could be a student. But what is the motive?"
Twilight sidled next to Flash, nuzzling her head against his. "Maybe they want us. Remember Sunset and the memory stone, how angry she was afterwards?"
"It's not Sunset," said Applejack, standing up. "Ah know. She would never do that."
"Exactly!" said a voice. They turned, to see Sunset Shimmer standing there. "I didn't do it!"
"Don't lie!" shouted Rainbow Dash. "You did it!"
"Hey, don't accuse Sunny of such vile actions!" shouted Rarity. "Yeah, where were you, on Saturday?"
"Shopping," said Sunset simply. "See, I'm innocent!"
"Shopping," said Rainbow Dash. "I somehow don't believe that story."
"Guys, I'm gonna head in," said Sunset. "See ya!"
Sunset opened the door of the school, as she ran into an empty classroom

Meet me in the alley near The Sweet Shoppe
Gilda was walking home from Crystal Prep, the prestigious school in the city. Gilda's brown eyes widened as she saw an anonymous text. It was a number she didn't recognise.
Still, she followed its instructions. She went down the dark alleyway near The Sweet Shoppe. A rustle. Gilda turned to see a masked figure. "Hello, Gilda," it hissed.
Gilda screamed, but the figure stuffed a cloth in her mouth. "One sound from you," it whispered, "And you're dead."
Gilda's eyes widened in fear. "Can't I have something to eat?" she whined.
The figure opened a bag and gave her a donut. Gilda munched the chewy treat. She closed her eyes in peace, as she enjoyed the beautiful warm taste. The figure's heart leapt.
The figure smirked evilly as it brought down a rolling pin on her head.
the next evening, on Sunday, Rarity was walking with Sweetie Belle from the Carousel Boutique.
The figure was following them, stealthily keeping in the shadows. Then it grabbed Sweetie Belle. Rarity kept walking, then she noticed that Sweetie Belle wasn't with her. Rarity hurridely retraced her steps and hid behind a tree. Rarity's blue eyes were transfixed on the scene before her. A masked figure had stuffed a hankerchief in her mouth. Rarity nearly gasped, but didn't. Rarity saw that the figure raised a knife and ploughed it into her veins in her left arm. Sweetie Belle slumped, dead. The figure took the hankerchief out. A door opened and without realising, the figure dropped the cloth on the floor. Rarity pulled her rubber gloves on and pulled out her fingerprint set that Twilight gave her.
Rarity delicately picked it up and examined the fingerprints. But it was covered in snot and sweat it was hard to tell. A bloody shoemark was imprinted on the surface, 4 wavy lines as the sole. Rarity pulled out her notebook and wrote it down.

Indigo Zap: Wasn't part in the Dance competition and has a grudge against CHS and hates Gilda.
Rarity ran to the steps of Canterlot High. Rainbow Dash hadn't arrived, she was still sleeping. "Good," said Rarity. "Here are the suspects:

Friday evening was coming around, Rainbow Dash was walking with Scootaloo from the football academy.
Rainbow Dash dropped Scootaloo off at her house. Rainbow walked across the street, whistling.
"RAINBOW, HELP!"
Rainbow turned. Scootaloo was being dragged off into an alley. Rainbow pulled her hood up and followed her. Rainbow gasped, as she saw Scootaloo's neck being slit.
"Now we know it's a knife," said Rainbow Dash. "Tell Rarity."
Saturday evening was the worst. Like a ninja, the figure jumped into Applebloom and Applejack's room. On tiptoes, the figure slit open Applebloom's veins. Then made a beeline for Applejack. The figure this time stabbed Applejack in the heart, like the first victim, Sandalwood. But why did anyone want to kill them?
Rainbow Dash arrived at school, her face pale. "Applejack's dead!" she cried, sobbing into Twilight's jacket. "I went to pick some apples up and then I went into her room and AB and AJ were dead and I saw Scoots get murdered too!"
Rarity pulled out her notebook and pen and crossed out Rainbow Dash.
"Okay," said Twilight. "I don't think it's Indigo Zap either. Hell, she doesn't know the crusaders!"
Late on Friday night, the friends were discussing in hushed voices who'd be doing what.
"Twilight, Flash, Pinkie." whispered Rarity. "Stay outside Sunset's house, find clues. Rainbow and Fluttershy, we're going to search- Fluttershy!"
Fluttershy's lifeless eyes stared up at the clear night sky. "Come on, Dash!"
"Hey, I think it's Sunset," whispered Pinkie. "The figure went into her house."
As if the figure knew someone was talking about them, the figure turned. Pinkie Pie stood frozen to the spot, like a rabbit in headlights. The figure chuckled. "Well well. If it isn't Pinkamena Diane Pie. The girl who has curly pink hair and loves parties and ditched me! You went out of your way to hurt me, now it's my turn to get my revenge. You wanna fight?"
"Yeah, and you will get cupcakes in your face!" cried Pinkie Pie.
"Ha." said the figure. "You can't beat me. I've known you since I was Queen Bee at CHS. And I know all your tricks."
"Sunset, No! We used to work together, what happened to all that?" pleaded Pinkie Pie.
"You betrayed me, every single one of you betrayed me! You hurt me, you ditched me and you forgot all about me! I told you the truth, but did Pinkamena and her precious friends remember me? NO! They did not! And now I'm out for revenge!"
Pinkie had moments left, then her mind went blank.
"Sunset?!" hissed Twilight from inside a bush. "She killed them? Because of what happened before? I dated her then she does that?!"
"I'm sorry, Twilight," said Flash, putting an arm around her. "She'll head for Wallflower. We have to follow her. Text RD and Rarity, now, and tell them to meet at the Sweet Shoppe!"
The 5 remaining members waited by the alley. A green-haired girl was walking on the streets, out of the Sweet Shoppe. Wallflower Blush. Wallflower was eating a donut, thinking about school on Monday, making it up to Sunset Shimmer. Little did she know she would not make it. She turned. She screamed. Then her mind went blank.
Twilight jumped out from their hiding place and placed handcuffs on her hands. Rarity ripped off the mask, as she stepped back.
"Sunset Shimmer! I thought I trusted you!" cried Twilight. "Then you go behind our backs, kill 10 people and now look! My father's coming, he's a policeman. Sunset, we were friends! You saved me in Camp Everfree, was that all fake, Sunny? Answer me!"
"No." replied Sunset. "I wanted to be a better person but the memory stone was my last straw. Twilight, I had to do this. You all betrayed me."
"Why didn't you tell anyone?" begged Twilight. "Why?"
"I had to!" cried Sunset. "I had no choice! You betrayed me! You heard me yell at Pie!"
"Why didn't you speak to Celestia or Luna or ME?" yelled Twilight. "Sunset, this is my fault. Our fault. I will tell my father that Dash, Rare and I are guilty. We caused this. I'm sorry Sunny."
"And me," said Flash. "I ignored you. You needed help, yet I did nothing to help you at all. We all deserve to go."
Twilight's father's car pulled up. "Dad, Sunset is guilty of the unspeakable crimes, but the 4 of us caused it. We abandoned Sunset when she needed help the most and she had no choice. Dad, take us as well. We deserve it."
"Twilight, no!" cried Sunset. "It isn't your fault. You should be free. No, take me and Dash. Dash has done unspeakable things as well. She's... she was a middle school bully and by accident, killed Score by punching him really hard."
"It's true," said Rainbow Dash. "Don't take Rarity, Twilight or Flash. Take me and Sunset. We deserve it. And I don't think Sunset could have ever killed me because... because when you 2 split up, Twi, Sunny and I were actually in a relationship and you found out. I would rather spend my whole life with someone I love, rather spend it on my own."
"Fine. Dash and Shimmer it is," said Night Light. "Twilight, I'm proud of you for alerting me."
“... And that’s what happened.” concluded Sunset, in the present day, later in the dorm. “So, you wanna hear about Dash?”
