Sunset was was having a regular day like any other nothing too eventful was planned to happen so she was hoping for a calm easy day.
Sunset had just left The principals office and was making her way to our next class. She greeted a few students on our way, glad to see that her past was starting to fade away. She turned the corner and was about to make our way through the lobby until she heard yelling that sounded like it was coming from outside. Curious she quickly made her way to the lobby. But as soon as she looked at the glass doors she froze.
There were several things going on through those doors in front of her. The first thing she noticed with the two large figures standing in the center of the courtyard One of them look to be holding someone in their arm. And the other one look to be even bigger. They both had Old damaged armor that looked to have extensive use and both had some sort of stone mask black with blue symbols . Neither of them looked “human” but under their armor it was hard to tell what they were she noticed pockets of for poking out from between the armor.
“ what an Equestria it’s going on out there?” She spoke out loud she slowly made her way towards the doors. She couldn’t believe what she was saying. As she looked closer she noticed it was scootaloo in the smaller ones arm.
“No—no nononono what do I do... I... I need to get Princess twilight.” She was about to turn in charge for her book to get in contact with princess twilight until she Heard a voice.
It was Match she had met him only a few times but she recognized him and it look like he was yelling demands at them.
“ what is he doing?!” Sunset questions as she rushed back to the doors.
Then all of a sudden the larger one charged forward and was standing next to match within a blink of an eye. She watched in horror as he was thrown away and sent flying slamming into the brick wall. The large beast slowly stood staring at its victim.
Sunset couldn’t believe what she just saw. She burst through the doors to see if you can get a better look and saw Match lying on the ground.
“No...MATCH.” She called out in shock she noticed that he wasn’t moving at all she turned her gaze to the monsters in front of her something was beginning to boil within her. “ you... you monsters...HOW COULD YOU!” She yelled out in anger.
The larger one who is now standing or match once stood, just simply stared at her. Until I spoke in a horrific sounding voice which much weight and hatred behind it.
“ you must be Sunset shimmer. Former student of princess Celestia how convenient for you to be here” he was unmoving as he spoke, as still as a statue.
Sunsets whole body shook She should listen to him speak.
“You...you know me?” Sunset asked and she To the beasts in whore
“ I believe I’m right, your description match for the most part these humans or a good hiding place I will admit you were hard to find.” The beast spoke the same horrific sounding voice full of anger and hate. As he spoke his partner slowly walked forward and stood next to him struggling a little with —scootaloo cursing and scrambling in his arm trying to get out of his grip.
“What do you want! why are you doing this!” Sunset demanded from Voice beginning to shake a little sing scootaloo scramble like that it’s beginning to make her choke up a bit.
“ you will be coming with me. I am going to use you as leverage to get what I want from Celestia. And if you do not comply...” The smaller of the two but scootaloo in the center of his chest wrapping both his arms around her. The larger one held a small gem that seem to float in its hand he extended his right arm pointing it directly to scootaloo head as the Gem Began to spin violently and become brighter. “ I will continue to make a mess of things. I believe I’ve already killed one of these things and I will gladly kill more until you comply.”
Sunset was frozen, she had no idea what to do She looked a scooter Lou then back to him there wasn’t much of an ultimatum. Everything was happening so fast and she didn’t have time to comprehend what was going on. Even though she couldn’t wrap her head around the situation she knew she had to do something and act fast but with no plan no way to get to our friends in time and no way to get to twilight There was only one thing she could do.
“I...I will-“ before she could finish her sentence she noticed something moving in the corner of her eye soon as he tried to look over some things stood behind him. It was only for a split second but she saw it was match and he looked mad.
Match had moved behind the larger of the two as fast as he could. Without them noticing him luckily. He jumped upward and forward a bit bringing his left arm over his head and across his face. “ YOU WON’T TOUCH THEM” he growled angrily before swinging his left arm downwards aiming for the back of the head of the larger one. Match widen his eyes in shock realizing that the Monster had dodged his attack leaning forward and lowering his head. Match noticed a handle sticking off his back it looked to be a large mace with a curved hilt. Thinking fast he grabbed onto The handle before falling over using it as leverage as he placed his left foot onto his back. Match picked up his right leg and swing it around slamming his foot into the face of the smaller monster shattering the stone mask and causing him to fall over Losing his grip on scootaloo and drop her to the ground.
Match had let go Of the larger monsters handle weapon letting himself fall to the ground and barely catching scootaloo in his arms. Simultaneously the larger one has swung it’s right arm trying to get match off him but had only missed. The monster stare down angrily reaching behind him for his large mace ready to swing it down on top of them. Match looked up in shock and noticed this and with all the strength in his legs he longed forward nearly dodging the massive mess. He rolled forward a few feet before his back hit the steps of the main entrance.
Match shot his head upwards Quickly, keeping his eyes on the monsters in front of him. He noticed the one that he had kicked was on the ground holding his face in pain, assuming he had broke his nose. he slowly stood back onto his feet holding scootaloo tightly in his arms. He took a quick glance behind him I noticed sunset shimmer was standing at the top of the steps.
“Match...what...what just...” Sunset stuttered trying to come to terms with what just happened.
Match look down the scootaloo and give her a warm smile. He noticed that she was trembling and was shook and up just staring at the monsters in whore.
“ it’s going to be OK scootaloo “ Match said as calmly as he could. But he himself was trembling in fear as well as The adrenaline that began kicking in.
Match had to think quick, he managed to get scootaloo away from them. But from the sound of it they were after sunset for some reason. She seemed like she knew what they were talking about so he was hoping she had a plan she always seem pretty smart and on top of things and if not well he can only hope for the best for what he’s about to do.
“ scootaloo sunset is standing behind me...I...I need you to go with her she’ll get you out of here.” Match said trying to think of a plan on the fly. “SUNSET.. I need you to call for help and get scootaloo out of here. no one knows we’re out here it seems like they’re attacking anyone on-site so...so... i’ll hold them off.”
“WHAT!” Sunset shouted, she’s so scared to leave match’s arms and ran into hers hugging her tightly “what do you mean you'll hold them off. we should run NOW!”
“I can’t be nothing in their way from hurting other people. I’ll give them something to occupy them” Match said, while noticing the larger one was preparing himself marching slowly but angrily towards him.
Sunset also noticed it was beginning to slowly walk back she desperately wanted to help match but she didn’t want to leave scootaloo alone. she was left with no choice and ran inside as fast as she could. But before she got too far away she took one last look and saw the massive Monster towering over Match and realized how much trouble he really was in.
Match brought both his fists up getting himself in a fighting stance while increasing his breathing rapidly.
“ leaving this one all alone to face us while you run away. amusing, you caught me off guard with that little stunt boy, so I’ll play along but you better impress me for your “friends”sake.” The massive beast route angerly with a cold unmoving stair.
All the muscles and matches body exploded has he summoned all his strength. “ I WON’T LET YOU TOUCH ANOTHER ONE OF MY FRIENDS WHILE I STAND!” He yelled angrily as he charged forward full sprint.
