It was a cool summer night in Ponyville and everypony in Ponyville was asleep. Hardy, a young alicorn who lives in the outskirts of ponyville, he has with a dull grey coat, spiky brown mane, and crimson eyes. His aunt, Red Velvet, his uncle, Frostblaze, and his older cousin Rose who treat him like a son after the death of his mother. 

What Red Velvet and Frostblaze didn’t know is that their nephew had witnessed his father kill a young filly. Rose knew that Bellamena had died, but she is unaware that her uncle had killed one of her best friends. Every night, when Hardy sleeps, he has nightmares about Bellamena's passing.
