A new year at Auradon Prep was just beginning. I opened my bag to check for all the essential books. Yep. All there. I was really looking forward to a new year. I am Sunset Shimmer and I am 16 years old. I was at Canterlot High with my best friends but then the school caught fire and we had to leave. Now we are off to Auradon Prep, in the United States of Auradon, with some new kids we don’t know yet. My eyes widened as the limo swept up the drive, kids waving. I smiled. There was a good chance. Another limo drew up behind us. We got out, I held my hand out to Flash Sentry. We’ve been best friends since I came to the human world. I left Equestria at 16. But I came out into the human world at 3 years old. I met Flash at the orphanage. He’s an orphan. We saw 4 rough looking kids get out of the limo behind us. A handsome boy with blonde hair and blue eyes stepped forward. “It’s great to finally meet you all!” he cried. “My name’s Ben, and this is my girlfriend, Audrey.”

“Sleeping Beauty’s daughter,” said Audrey, with a smile. She frowned when her eyes rested on the purple haired girl. “I totally don’t blame your mom for putting my mom to sleep.”

The purple haired girl retorted, “Well I totally don’t blame your grandparents for not inviting my mom to the christening.”

The 2 girls faked sighed. Ben shot Audrey a look that said Shut up!. Ben smiled. “So what’s your names?”

I stepped forward. “My name’s Sunset Shimmer. This is Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry.”

“Mal. Maleficent’s daughter.” said the purple haired girl. “And that’s Carlos, Cruella’s son, Jay, Jafar’s son and Evie, Evil Queen’s daughter.”

Ben shook our hands. “Nice to meet you all. Now, if you follow me, we’ll take you around.”





“Hey, Doug!” called Ben.

The boy called Doug came down the stairs. “This is Doug, guys. He’s in charge of your schedules. Just let him know what subjects you wanna do. See ya later!”

We glanced at each other excitedly. “I’m so looking forward to this,” said Rarity. “This is so CHS.”
