//------------------------------// // Strategy // Story: Final Stage // by Duke of Canterlot //------------------------------// Starlight Glimmer was busy with her work. Everything was coming together. She would make Equestria her own soon enough. Methaphetamine was essentially unknown amongst ponyfolk. Princess Celestia put in a ban on hard drugs for centuries and the drugs successfully never made their way amongst the ponies. This was better for Starlight. Most ponies would have no idea what hit them. This would work. It must work. Starlight used her magic to double the potency of the meth. She knew that many ponies would become addicted and die. Starlight didn’t care. The end justified the means. If she were lucky, maybe she could knock out Princesses Twilight and Apple Bloom with the meth. But she doubted it. Twilight certainly knew of meth and its existence from the books. And Apple Bloom was a pain in her ass which needed to be dealt. Starlight knew that Apple Bloom went out of her way to try to get Starlight fired from the Friendship School. Thankfully, Twilight proudly rejected the idea. Trusting Twilight, thought Starlight with a giggle. Perhaps she could get Twilight hooked on meth. This was all going to work out just fine. Starlight Glimmer played almost every pony so well. This was her opportunity to take what was rightfully hers. There were troubles though. She despised the fact that Princess Luna had to pick the one pony in the world who had zero trust in Starlight to take her position. Starlight even felt a twinge of guilt on what would be her best strategy. She would kill Twilight Sparkle, take her magic, and then kill Apple Bloom as an overpowered alicorn. Starlight’s other strategy was to get other creatures to despise living under the rule of Twilight Sparkle and Apple Bloom. The griffons were brutes with no problems of committing act of violence – so they were the easiest to get to her side. The changelings would almost be as easy. They viewed Starlight as a hero for her help in freeing them from Chrysalis. However, changelings were considered to be the lowest class of citizens in Equestria by many. Twilight would be able to get a changeling revolt going. The revolt would move to the other types of creatures and then she would get the meth going. The ponies would be so hooked on her crystal blue meth that they would have no idea that she was taking over Equestria. Starlight considered her plan brilliant and almost flawless. She considered her worst threat to be Apple Bloom – Starlight hated to admit it but Apple Bloom was perhaps as brilliant as she was when it came to strategy. Starlight’s other plan was to turn Equestria against the newly crowned alicorn princess – as a lowlife who had no business ruling Equestria. But she needed to be careful with the rhetoric – one wrong word would get the changelings all behind Apple Bloom and against Starlight. Buck it, scoffed Starlight. She was going to go all out with the meth and see what happens.
