After a few hours, all three ponies woke up and started stretching. Sombra yawned loudly and stretched; stating “wow. I haven’t slept like that ever since I was defeated, and sent off into limbo.” Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash were rubbing their eyes, and nodded weakly since they just woke up. Sombra got off and asked, “need any help?” Both of the fillies shook their heads, and then started walking out of the room.

However; before they could even start to make their first steps out the door, Sombra proceeded to pick them up, and hugged them. “Hey cmon now, y’all aren’t supposed to leave yet.” Pinkie and Rainbow both yawned, then Pinkie replied “yeah, but wewe stiww sweepy. We wants to wake up.” Sombra then stated, “alright then. But... what do y’all say of a battle, eh?” Rainbow and Pinkie started to wake up more, and then Rainbow asked “what kind of battwe?” Sombra smirked, and began his explanation...

After he fully explained what he was talking about, both fillies nodded and bounced up in excitement. Unfortunately, they fell back down as they were still too weak from waking up. Sombra nodded “ah, I get it now. Here; drink this. It helps.” Both of the fillies looked at their sippy cups that’s filled with some type of fluid. Pinkie and Rainbow both asked, “what is it?” Sombra replied, “something cold to help you wake up.” And with that, the fillies began drinking their drinks. After their first sip however, they started shivering, and then Pinkie said “w-w-wow that’s cold. W-what was that?” Sombra simply stated “cold water. You like it?” Rainbow smirked, and said whilst shivering “w-weawwy now? D-dats it? Hah. I-I dwank way too many c-cowd dwinks when I was smaww. S-s-so it no boder me.. m-much.”

After Sombra sat them on his lap again and wrapped the two of them in a blanket, they sighed in relief, and nuzzled close to each other and Sombra whilst continuing to drink from their cups since they were feeling good, and warm too. “Aww”, he started to comment, “so sweet.” Both fillies blushed and continued drinking their beverages.

After a few minutes, both fillies sighed, and tossed their sippy cups aside. Rainbow turned, and says “danks sombwa. You da best.” Sombra smiled slightly, and said “aww, no problem little cutie.” He then pinched one of Rainbow’s cheeks gently; which caused Rainbow to squeak, and giggle at that gesture. After that, both fillies unwrapped themselves, got off of King Sombra, and then gained some distance from him before shouting “youww nevewr have the cwystaw empiwre. You heaw us? Nevewr!” And with that, Sombra laughed evilly, and stated “oh really now huh? Hehe, then come and get me.”

After King Sombra defeated the two fillies, both Pinkie and Rainbow laughed whilst wiggling their hooves, and then Pinkie said “dat was fun. Wets pway adventuwre again.” Sombra nodded, but says “I guess so. But what if the family comes back?” Rainbow flew up to King Sombra, and says “so what? We have mowre fun now. Wight?” Sombra thought for a moment, and said “right”, before grabbing Rainbow, and tickling her belly; which causes her to giggle and flail her hooves.
