Chapter 21: Suffering

After Isaac and Applejack's duel, Celestia asked that everybody take a quick intermission. With that Isaac then made his way to his room where he hoped for some peace and quiet. Once he entered his room, he then started to gather his thoughts. He had beaten Applejack and that means he would be heading to the finals of the tournament where he would meet the winner of Sunset versus Rainbow. The end was near in site, all he had to do was win one more duel and he would be crowned CHS's duel champion. That alone brought a smile on his face, in his first major event he made it all the way to the top 2 and potentially was on the verge of being crowned champion.

"I remember what Celestia said, that this kind of event is watched by many people including dueling agents. This is where people can show off their talents and possibly take their game to the next level. Imagine how much a person's life can change."

Isaac then looked at his deck as he was thinking of something.

Ever since I was young, I've had a passion for Duel Monsters. So much so that my parents just thought it was simply something only little kids liked. But when I showed them how serious I was about the game and how much fun I was having, they started to support me. My whole life I've faced lots of obstacles, besides my parents, I always turned to my cards to offer me guidance. Many people might not see it but to me it feels real when I play my cards.

Isaac was then interrupted by a knock on his door. He knew that it couldn't be any of his friends due to the fact that most of them were watching in the crowd. Nor was it Rainbow or Dash as they were just about to battle, so who could it be? Isaac then slowly walked to the door and put his hand on the handle to open it. When he opened the door, he looked around but saw nobody. It wasn't until he heard a sound that he looked a different direction.

"If you're looking for me, try looking down?"

I looked down and saw that the voice belonged to none other than Applebloom. I was curious as to why she was knocking on my door, rather than be with her sister watching the next duel.

"Oh, hey Applebloom. Sorry didn't see you there, anyways what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with your friends and sister?"

"Yeah, but I snuck away to hopefully talk with you. I just wanted to say that duel with my big sis was amazing! I mean I knew you were phenomenal, but still amazing!"

"Thanks, but I shouldn't take anything away from Applejack. She gave me a tough fight that I had to really had to think outside of the box just to outsmart her. The way the duel was going, I'll admit I got lucky that I barely managed to squeeze by. I haven't felt that feeling in a while. Your sister has talent and I'm impressed."

When Isaac said that comment about her sister, Applebloom was jumping up and down on the inside. When she first met Isaac, she was interested to say the least. At first all she thought was that he was just another friend of Applejack, but when he helped her construct her deck during their family gathering she started to admire him. The other members of her family had taken a liking to Isaac due to how he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He looked like the type of person who enjoyed doing hard work. Applebloom really appreciated what Isaac did for her by improving her deck; she was able to get over her issue of overthinking and just learn to by her heart. During their family gathering, she saw just how happy her big sister was teaming with Isaac. Ever since Sunset became the biggest bully, she noticed how different her sister had become. Applejack spent most of her time trying to protect Applebloom from encountering Sunset's wrath, so much so that all she focused on was taking down Sunset that she started to lose sight of what it meant to duel for fun. Then Isaac came along and returned the smile/happiness that Applejack once had. Honestly she was glad that there was someone who could bring her sister happiness.

"Yeah, that's Applejack for you. She won't stop till shes satisfied with the results. Anyways, I should probably head back and let you get back to what you were doing. Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for giving my sister a fun time. You don't know how happy I am to see her return to her old self. Thanks Isaac."

Applebloom gave Isaac a hug which caught Isaac by surprise. He eventually gave her a pat on her head being careful to not mess up her pink bow. She then let go and proceeded to head back to the stands. Before leaving she whispered something into Isaac's ear which caused some confusion on his part as she left.

"Take good care of her? What did Applebloom mean when she said make sure Applejack feels special? It probably means nothing." With that Isaac closed the door to his room and began to watch the monitor as the next duel was about to take place.

Rainbow Dash had been watching the duel between her two pals and she was hooked since the first minute. Prior to Isaac attending Canterlot High, she only considered a few people who could give her a decent challenge from time to time. Applejack was one of those few individuals who could score a win against her. Then there was Sunset. Who since becoming champion and the biggest bully in school, was always the one person she couldn't beat. No matter how many times she faced Sunset, she would always end up on the losing end. Then there was Isaac; when she first heard about a new student enrolling she began to take an interest in finding out who they were. When Dash initially saw Isaac, she felt like he was a mediocre duelist. However after spending enough time with him and seeing what kind of skills he possess, she knew that she finally found someone who could go the distance and push her to be the best. The fact that Isaac was the owner of the Dark Magician should have been a clear sign that he knew what he was doing and wasn't just an amateur. If that wasn't enough to convince Dash, then Isaac's recent duel showed that he was somebody who she could consider a worthy adversary.

"Will Rainbow Dash please report to the stage? Your match will begin shortly." said the voice on the P.A. system. Dash then grabbed her deck and duel disk and proceeded to walk to the dueling field. This whole tournament she had wanted to take a crack at Sunset and she was finally going to get that chance.

"Sorry, Isaac but I can't let you have all the fun. Besides, once I'm taken care of Sunset, I'm going to take care of you and become champion." said Rainbow to herself.

Sunset was in her room in deep thought. She had just finished watching Isaac's duel and it was safe to say that he didn't disappoint. Sunset had been impressed with how Isaac had been doing since this tournament started.

Seems like Isaac is turning into quite a formidable opponent. Now I'm glad we decided to keep him around, he's really make things fun for us.

"Indeed, he definitely knows how to keep things interesting. Still during that battle with Applejack, I sensed something."

Yes, it seems Isaac holds a power that he's not aware of. Luckily for us we'll make sure that we snuff out that light of his and replace it with darkness once we've taken over this place.

Sunset then began to laugh as she enjoyed that idea. "Perhaps then he'll be an obedient boy toy, and learn to follow the lead of his master."

"Will Sunset Shimmer please report to the stage? Your duel will begin shortly."

Sunset then grabbed her deck and began marching out of the room towards the stage. "But first I have to deal with an annoying little pest in that rainbow girl. Maybe I could use her as an example to show Isaac what he's in store for when he faces me."

Everybody was starting to settle back into their seats as they prepared for the final duel of the day. They knew that the winner of this would face Isaac at the Fall Formal where the entire world would be watching to see who Canterlot High would crown as their champion. Celestia had also just returned after having a quick cake break to get her appetite back from Isaac's incredible duel with Applejack. Pinkie had just returned from talking with her friends about the big party she was planning for the dance itself. Celestia then called her over to signal they were about to start; Pinkie waved goodbye to her friends as she returned back to the commentary table to join Celestia. Once Luna gave the signal, the cameras then started to roll.

"Welcome everybody, I hope that you're all rested after our brief intermission. We had so much fun that it's a shame that this next duel will be the final one of the day."

"Indeed, principal Celestia. Whoever the winner of today's duel is they will then face Isaac in a one on one duel this Friday at the Fall Formal itself. The time has come people, we're getting close to the finish line. So lets get things started!"

"On my left introducing Canterlot High's speedster, she gives new meaning to the word 'Dash'. Please welcome the captain of every sports team in CHS, Rainbow Dash!" Dash made her way to the stage where the crowd started to show their appreciation for her by cheering and whistling. She merely gave them a thumbs up.

"And her opponent, on my right, is currently ranked as champion and she hopes to do a repeat. Please welcome, Sunset Shimmer!"

Sunset Shimmer made her way out and the entire room turned on a dime. The boos could be heard from miles on ends as everybody was rooting against her and hoping she would lose. Sunset paid them no attention, they may have grown a backbone and got the courage to boo her in the face. However she knew how to control them. Once she had disposed of Dash and then taken care of Isaac, she would make sure they suffer for ever decided to side against her. All she needed to do was snuff out their sense of hope at the source and it started here and now. Both Sunset and Rainbow Dash looked at each other with death glares, both were wanting to take the other down. They then shuffled their decks and took their positions.

"If both duelist are ready, then let the duel commence." said Luna.

"You're going down, Sunset!"

"I'll make you suffer!"

"Opponent detected. Streaming data. Duel mode set. Initiating. Commencing duel." said the mechanical voice.

Rainbow Dash's Life Points: 8000-
Sunset's Life Points: 8000-

Turn 1: Sunset

"I'll start, draw!" Sunset looked at her hand for a second before playing her card. "I'll start by playing my Burning Spirit(500/1400) in attack mode. I'll then place 2 card facedown. You're up Rainbow!"

Turn 2: Rainbow Dash

"Time to end your reign, draw!"

"I activate my trap Burning Hand, now you take 300 points of damage every time you draw a card. So get ready to feel the heat!"

Sunset's card then fired a fire tornado as it struck Rainbow the moment she drew her card. Dash felt the effect of the card as it caused her to lose life points.
Rainbow Dash's Life Points: 7700-

"That's fine because from my hand I'm playing the field spell U.A. Stadium. Now whenever I normal summon a 'U.A.' monster, I can add one from my deck to my hand." Dash then looked through her deck and picked out which one she wanted. "Then I'll summon U.A. Midfielder(1200/1000) in attack mode."

"Thanks, I activate my other facedown Burning Field. Now whenever you summon a monster, you take another additional 300 points of direct damage. I know that you rely on switching out your monsters constantly; making sure that you tag in a different one that suits the situation while also overwhelming your opponent with powerful offense. So now I've made it that whenever you switch out you get punished. You should just quit while your ahead, there's only one person I want. You're just collateral damage at best, you don't deserve to be here!"

"What did you say!? Just for that I'll take the extra 300 because I'm switching out my Midfielder to summon out my U.A. Dreadnought Dunker(2500/1800)."

Dash's monster came out on the field as it triggered Sunset's second trap and fired a fireball at Dash as it burned even more of her points.
Rainbow Dash's Life Points: 7400-

"Now Dreadnought Dunker take out her Burning Spirit, attack!" Rainbow issued the command to her monster and it charged at Sunset's monster as it wiped it from the field. "Seems I'm the one that has taken the lead, talk about dealing some serious damage. I'll then end with 1 card facedown."
Sunset's Life Points: 6000-

"You may have destroyed my monster, but doing so comes at a price. A price that you're going to pay, now when my Burning Spirit is destroyed in battle you take the same amount of damage that was inflicted to me. Now time to make you suffer once more, Spirit burn away some more of Rainbow's life points! Scorching Sear!" Sunset's monster then rose out from the ashes and then launched itself at Rainbow who felt the burn from the monster as it caused her to have a couple of scratches all over her body.
Rainbow's Life Points: 5400-

Turn 3: Sunset

"You're nearly done to half of you life points and every move you make inches you that much closer to your defeat. Just admit it, you've done for. You don't belong here, the only person I want is Isaac! You are just an obstacle in my way! Draw!" Sunset drew her card and a smile started to appear on her face. "I'll play my Archfiend Interceptor(1400/1600) in attack mode. Now whenever you declare an attack my monster can deal you 500 points of direct damage. I'll then end my turn with a facedown. Now hurry up and make your move, playtime is over!"

Turn 4: Rainbow Dash

"It's my turn and I draw."

"Don't forget my trap is still in play and you lose another 300 points since you drew a card."

"I remember."
Rainbow's Life Points: 5100-

Damn, this is so not how I wanted things to go. Now only is Sunset dealing me damage but she's blocking every advance I have just to make a move against her. I've got to find a way to turn things around. I need to show her that I'm not to be messed with and that I can beat her! "I'll start by playing my spell card Pot of Greed, now I'll draw 2 more cards. Nice! Next I'll play the spell card Power Up and with this it allows me to destroy up to the same number of cards as there are monsters on the field. Since there are currently 2 monsters, that mean I can destroy 2 cards and I'll choose both of your traps."

"Awesome, now that Dashie has gotten rid of Sunset's card she's now free to draw and play her monsters without taking any damage. Now she's back in the game!" shouted Pinkie.

"Then I'll play U.A. Midfielder and then switch him out to summon my U.A. Playmaker(2600/2000) to the field. Now my field allows me to add another monster from my deck to my hand, then all monsters I control gain 500 attack points. Now my monsters prepare to attack Sunset!"

"Don't forget that Interceptor deals you 500 points when your monster declares an attack and since you're attack me with 2 that means you'll lose 1000 points."
Rainbow Dash's Life Points: 4100-

"That's fine by me because I'm about to deal you some even bigger damage. First I'll activate the ability of my Playmaker in which he loses 800 attack points and gives it to my Dreadnought Dunker. Then I'll have Playmaker attack your monster and when then my Dunker will attack your life points directly!" Rainbow's playmaker was successful in destroying Sunset's monster as it left her field wide open to attack. Dash's Dunker then raised its fists as it prepared to unleash its attack.

"You really think it would be that easy, I activate my facedown Monster Terror, now I discard 1 card in my hand and all the damage you would have done to me is negated. Too bad that move was so weak that you didn't even manage to land a single hit on me. Maybe you should just stick to sports and let the real duelist do the dueling around here!"
Sunset's Life Points: 5100

"I am a real duelist! Your reign of tyranny is coming to an end, Sunset! We've all suffered enough and it's time someone stood up to you! I'll then end my turn with 1 card facedown."

Turn 5: Sunset

"So you want to be these student's role model, well then lets see how they like this. I play Archfiend's Victim, now prepare yourself because this card allows me to summon out a monster from my grave so I revive my Darkbishop Archfiend(300/1400) in defense mode. Next I'll play my Fiend Assassin in attack mode. I'll then throw a facedown and end my turn."

Turn 6: Rainbow Dash

"My turn, draw. Just like before I'm summoning my U.A. Midfielder and then add another monster to my hand. Then I'll tag out Midfielder and call upon my U.A. Mighty Slugger(2300/700). Then I'll reveal my facedown Teamwork, now this will come in handy because not I can choose a monster of my and it can't be destroyed in battle. So now time for battle, go my monsters attack."

"Don't think, I send 1 monster from my hand to the grave to trigger the effect of my Archfiend Dealer and immediately end your battle phase. Seems like you were too slow, all you seem to be doing is crashing and burn. Maybe that should be your new nickname Rainbow Crash because it's the only thing that you're clearly good at!"

"Don't ever call me that! I'll end my turn."

"My this seems rather tough. Sunset Shimmer has Rainbow Dash trapped that she's not allowing her to mount any offense whatsoever. Sunset just keeps finding a way to stay one step ahead of her. If Dash doesn't find a way to turn this duel in her favor, I'm afraid it's just a matter of time before Sunset is done toying with her." said Celestia.

Turn 7: Sunset

"It's time to end this here and now. Ready, draw."
Sunset's Life Points: 4600-

Sunset looked at her card and an evil smile formed on her face. She then started to call on the power inside of her as was looking to end this charade. Isaac was watching the duel on the monitor in his room; he saw that Dash was having a tough time trying to get past Sunset's defense and was taking massive amounts of burn damage that was really rack up fast. Isaac even paid attention to how Sunset was just toying with Dash and having fun watching her squirm. So when Sunset drew her card, Isaac noticed that the evil aura that had surrounded her in her match against Flash had returned and it started to glow. Sunset's eyes then gave out a yellow color as she had an even more evil tone in her voice.

"Time to remind everybody that those who stand in my way will fall and pray. Now I'll play my Archfiend's Hellfire, now I banish two monsters from my grave and can destroy 2 cards on the field. So say goodbye to your field spell and your facedown on the left. Sunset's card then fired two shots of fire cyclones as they burned up Dash's cards. Dash put her arms up to protect her eyes from the fire, however when she put her arms up she felt the heat from the card and experienced a slight burn on her arms.

"Now time to summon a creature that haunt people's dreams, behold as I banish both of my monsters to summon a creature that will bring everybody to their knees, Lucifer, Lord of the Underworld(3000/3000). Out came a creature that had red skin and devil horns on its head. It had black eyes as it let out a screeching roar that caused everybody in the crowd and at home to cover their eyes. It wore battle armor that was cover in black and had wings that expanded. Dash looked at Sunset's monster and for the first time in her life, she genuine felt fear start to form in her. Looking at her monster, was like looking at the devil himself, heck it might as well be the devil. Sunset noticed how scared Dash was becoming and it filled her full of glee.

"Now my monster's ability activates, when it's summoned I can rid your field of all the monsters you have in play. Go my demon, show Dash your power. Rid her of her monster!" Sunset's monster then raised its hand and summoned walls of fire that circled around Dash's field as it formed a symbol on the ground. Once the symbol was made it then lighted up by the fire and with it burned away Dash's monster as it sent them to the graveyard. Rainbow Dash just stood there as she just watched her monsters vanished from her field and there was nothing she could do.

"Now that you're completely defenseless, time to exact some pain. Go Lucifer attack Rainbow Dash directly, Scorching Crimson Fist!" Sunset's demon then powered up as it took to the sky and then came barreling down with so much gravity that it started to form a phoenix shape as it came crashing down on Rainbow and her life points. Rainbow felt the attack and it hurt like hell. She tried to put her arms up to cover her but that have little effect as she felt the flames hit her skin and cause a few minor burns to her arms, legs, and any other part of her body that compromised skin. Her clothes were starting to gather bits of ashes and dust, as well as, bits of ember caught in her hair. Still after all that Rainbow still managed to stay standing for a bit before looking at Sunset and falling to her knees.
Rainbow's Life Points: 1100-

Isaac was watching this and saw the pain Rainbow was feeling and decided that the match needed to be stopped, so he made his way out of the room and proceeded to run to the stage. Almost everybody watching in the audience and at home felt uncomfortable watching Sunset maul Rainbow Dash apart, not to mention the scream Dash let out when Sunset attack her directly. Rainbow's friends were concern for wellbeing that they wanted to intervene in the match but that would cause her to forfeit which would be even more devastating for Dash herself. Pinkie was starting to form tears in her eyes as she watched her friend getting slapped around by Sunset; even Celestia knew that Sunset was going a bit too far but even she was powerless to stop. Once a duel started the only way for it to end was for their to be a winner. Still Celestia had hope that Rainbow could turn this around.

Sunset was still in her evil power upped form as she watched Rainbow struggle to stay in the duel. It was rather amusing to think that she still had a chance and was willing to fight for these fools. She clearly didn't understand that nobody in this school cared for her, the only reason they cheered her on is because they felt sorry for her. It was just the truth plain and simple. Dash then started to get back up as she willed her body to stand up.

"Stay down! If I wanted to end this already, I would have. You never stood a chance against me, you only thought you could. When in reality you're just like everyone here, you respond to fear/power and you fall in line with others! You need to understand that their can only be one duelist at the top and you're looking at her! Why because I'm Sunset Shimmer, the best duelist not just in CHS but in the world!" said Sunset Shimmer as her voice echoed around the place.

"Your wrong!" Rainbow then coughed up some smoke that she had inhaled from the attack. "That's why I'm fighting, I fight to show everybody what you truly are. That you're nothing but big bad bully! You walk around here saying that everybody show should you respect, well not me! You say that everybody here should respond to you, well look at them they know that your threats mean nothing." Rainbow then started to stand up and started to speak a bit of her mind.

"You save that the entire school should be shrouded in darkness; that all traces of light should extinguished. Well let me tell you, that's not going to happen." While Rainbow was speaking this at Sunset, Isaac was starting to get closer to his destination. "People need to know that we even in the darkest of shadows, there is always a glimmer of hope. That if they hold onto it then they can cast a light to repel those shadows. They need someone who they can look up to, they need a leader to show them that they need to take a stand against people like you. I'm going to be that role model and if I can't beat you, then I'll die trying!"

Rainbow's body then started to glow as a blue aura shinned around her and she put her hand on her deck. Sunset noticed Rainbow's sudden transformation as started to get a bit intimated; even Rainbow's friends started to see that Dash was being surrounded by a weird blue energy as she got back to her feet. Rainbow didn't pay much attention to what was happening, all that she paid attention was that one minute she was struggling just trying to stay up and then felt a sudden burst of adrenaline that caused her to forget the pain she was experiencing.

Turn 8: Rainbow

"Now, time to draw!!!" Rainbow let out an anime cry as she drew her card which was covered in a bright blue color with a trail following behind it. "Now I'll start by playing my facedown Team Effort, whenever monsters on my field are destroyed I can then replace them with up to the same monsters from my deck or graveyard, so I choose to revive my U.A. Mighty Slugger and then I'll bring out Unicycular(100/100) in defense mode. Next I'll play this little guy the tuner monster Turbo Synchron(100/500). Now time to shift things into high gear, ready Sunset! Here goes, I tune my U.A. Mighty Slugger with my Unicycular and my Turbo Warrior."

Rainbow's monsters then started to form together as the power that Rainbow was displaying started to manifest and with it a new card was created and appeared in her hands. "Now I Synchro Summon, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon(2500/2100)!"

Everybody was shocked with what Rainbow had done, she had managed to summon a new creature out of thin air. Sunset had not expected this as she had a look of concern in her face. Rainbow on the other hand was smiling as her monster descend onto the field and let out a powerful roar as it made its debut.

"Now I'll play the spell Wings of Power with this my dragon gains an extra 1000 attack points, now my dragon attack Sunset's Lucifer!" Rainbow's Dragon then flapped its wings and soared to new heights as it started coming down on Sunset's monster at high speed.

"Big mistake, because my Lucifer has another ability, now by removing a monster from play I can destroy your attacking monster!"

"Your not the only one with an ability, now to show you the power of my Clear Wing Synchro Dragon. Once per turn, he can negate your monster's ability and destroy it, then he gains attack points equal to the monster he destroyed!"

"No way!!!" screamed Sunset she had been played by Rainbow Dash and her monster was destroyed leaving her wide open to an attack.

"Now that your monster is gone, Clear Wing attack Sunset directly and end this duel!" Rainbow and her dragon's spirit were fused as one as they charged ahead with their attack ready to deal the final blow to Sunset. The attack connected and it caused a massive force to be exerted causing everybody to hold on as they felt a strong gust of wind blow pass them. Rainbow was standing with a prideful smile on her face. I did it, I finally beat Sunset Shimmer.

Or so she thought, because when the smoke cleared there was Sunset on the floor with one knee but she still had some life points. She thought for sure her monster had drained the last of her life points, but she managed to survive her onslaught and had a evil smile on her face. Rainbow's eyes started to get bigger as she watched Sunset get right back up after hitting her with her best shot.
Sunset's Life Points: 1350-

"Too bad, but just before your attack connected I played my facedown Enhanced Tribute. Now all the damage I would have taken this turn is cut in half. And you were so close, now time to beg for mercy!!"

Turn 9: Sunset

"Now with the destruction of my Lucifer comes a even more powerful creature now say hello to my Scarlet Red Nova Archfiend(4000/4000). Now my activates its ability in which he can't be target by any card effects, furthermore, he can negate your monster's effect so your Clear Wing Synchro Dragon is render useless. Then I'll play my final facedown and with it it will wipe out the rest of your life points, reveal Fiend's Command. Now for every fiend in my grave, my monster can now attack that many times. Since I have a total of 3 fiend monsters in my grave that means I can attack you three times! Go make Rainbow suffer and show her no mercy, attack!!!" Sunset's monster then snapped its fingers and with it the ground burst open with pillars of fire coming out and it collided with Rainbow's dragon as it was sent to the grave which left Dash defenseless as she took the full force of the attack that it flung her on her back and she was down for the count.
Rainbow's Life Points: 0-
Winner: Sunset

The match may have been over, but Sunset wasn't finished with Rainbow Dash. She needed to make her an example to show Isaac and everybody else what happens when you cross the line. "Don't think you're safe because I'm not finished with you!! Scarlet keep attacking Dash, show everybody what happens when you mess with me!". Sunset's monster heard her master's command and kept hitting Dash with pillars of fire that Dash couldn't even put her arms up to defend herself. Nobody could do anything less they risk their own health, it seemed Dash was in trouble until the doors opened. Isaac saw what happened and made his way over to Dash.

Sunset saw Isaac approaching and called off her monster. Isaac, Luna and the rest of the medical staff rushed over to see if Rainbow had suffered any major injuries. Based on her appearance, she suffered lots of pain as their was scratches covering the parts of her that were exposed; she didn't suffer any major burns but it looked like Dash was going to need some serious rest. After conferring with Luna that Dash was going to be okay, he gave her a smile before turning to face Sunset who still had the evil possessing her.

"What the hell is wrong with you!? The duel is over and yet you still batter around Dash. I know what you want, well Sunset I'm right here. You want to throwdown, then I say we don't have to wait till Friday lets settle this here and now!" Isaac prepared to activate his duel disk till Luna stopped him.

"Calm yourself Isaac, you'll get your hands on Sunset. Right now Dash is the one you should worry about!" Luna tried to get Isaac to calm down and not let his angry get the best of him.

"Listen to what Vice-principal Luna is saying, it's for your own good. As for you Isaac that was just a preview of what I'm going to do to you and everybody else when I beat you and take my rightful place among the gods as the new face of fear! So enjoy your last moments while you can, because once our duel starts their will be no salivation to save you from hell that is coming!" Sunset then left as she made her way out of the room and disappeared.

The rest of the girls then rushed to check on their friend and helped her carry her to the medical room. Celestia was busying trying her best to downplay the situation that just occurred to the viewers watching at home. She tried her best to say that it was merely an act of proclamation that Sunset was sending to Isaac; that she would be willing to do whatever it takes to secure the victory. Ultimately, she cut the broadcast short and went with her sister to check on their student. Isaac was left standing with a bitter look on her face. He had to witness the sight of one of his best friends take a beating from Sunset as all he could do was watch from the side. He knew he should have interfered, but Dash wouldn't have wanted that. She wanted to fight and end the duel on her terms, even if it meant she might have lost her life. Isaac clenched his fist and remember the promise he made to Dash, that he would help her to take down Sunset not just for their sake but for everybody here. With new determination in his mind, he turned in the direction of his friends who were leaving to check on Dash. He then started to walk, while he was walking the energy that had surrounded Rainbow Dash during her duel with Sunset then began to leave her body and landed inside of Isaac's deck as it shined a bright blue color and then faded.
