The next sleepover was at Rarity's house. "Sweetie Belle, isn't it time you go to bed, and let your big sister have some fun with hers?"
"I'm not a baby!"
Sunset faced away from her friends. Since she started having nightmares, she had been on the drink and the drugs. Sunset tipped her head back, as she drank the alcohol and the drugs.
Sunset opened her English book and flicked to Remains.
Rarity came up to her. "Sunset."
Sunset turned. "Rarity! You made me jump!"
"Are you okay?"
"What, me?" asked Sunset. "Yeah, I'm just looking at some English homework."
"Don't you wanna have some fun?"
"Yeah. I'll just watch."
After a good hour of fun, the girls slid into bed. Sunset stayed up, writing to Princess Twilight.
Dear Princess Twilight,
I feel like I am getting the hang of the friendship thing!
I have great friends who care and love me
Your friend, Sunset Shimmer.
Sunset fell back, and shut her eyes.
A pillar of cyan lifted the auburn teenager up into the sky, the element of magic on her head. The teenager inside crouched, angry obstinate tears leaking out. When finished, the teen was a she-demon.
The 6 girls below gasped. Fluttershy hid behind Rarity. Sunset Shimmer cackled loudly, as she used her magic to turn her two cronies, Snips and Snails into demons too.
The demon almost glided towards the entrance of the school, where frightened students stood, quivering against each other. Before they knew it, the front of the school was destroyed and they had been zombiefied.
"No you're not!" shouted Twilight.
"Oh please!" replied the monster. "What do you think you can do to stop me? I have magic and you have nothing!"
Rainbow Dash and the others stood next to Twilight. Rainbow Dash went one step further and stood in front of Twilight. "SHE HAS US!" she yelled. Twilight smiled gratefully at the Rainbow haired teen. The demon threw a bolt of magic at Twilight and her friends. But instead, the girls glowed pink and formed a heart shape. A long rainbow spurted out of the 6 girls and wrapped itself around the demons.
There was a bright white light. The mane 6 lay on the floor. Spike bounded up to Twilight and licked her face. The 6 girls walked to the pit where Sunset Shimmer lay.
"You will never rule in Equestria," said Twilight. "Any power you may have had in this world is gone. Tonight, you've shown everyone who you really are. You've shown them what is in your heart."
Sunset sniffed. " I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't know there was another way." she wept.
Twilight smiled gently. "The magic of friendship doesn't just exist in Equestria. It's everywhere. You can seek it out, or you can forever be alone. The choice is yours."
Sunset sniffed weakly. "But... but all I've done since being here is drive everyone apart. I don't know the first thing about friendship."
Twilight gestured to the 5 girls beside her. They smiled. "I bet they can teach you."
Sunset shuddered. She hated that memory. She wished she could wipe it out. But she couldn't. She would have gotten her phone. But instead, she decided to read instead.
That book was Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
