Chapter 2: the new teacher
Ron and Hermione caught up with Luna, Ginny and Neville. Harry was ahead, talking to Rainbow Dash about the latest sports, and Twilight had buried her nose in a book. They sat down at their respective tables and Professor Dumbledore stood up. He was making amnoucements. Then, a woman with curly mousy brown hair and a pink cardigan stood up. "Hem, hem," she said. "My name is Professor Umbridge and I am your new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher! Now, I will be inspecting some of your lessons and will be reporting my findings to the Minister. Thank you."
Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash and Harry. "Man, that woman is one pink gal!"
Rainbow Dash nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, at the Slytherin Table, Sunset looked from Blaise to the rest of the Slytherins.
"It says I'm Quidditch Captain. I don't get it. What am I supposed to do?"
"Why don't you ask Rainbow Dash?" suggested Blaise. "I'm sure she'll come up with some tips, right? We have Herbology tomorrow with the Gryffindors, so why don't you ask her then?"
Sunset smiled nervously. "Yeah, thanks, Blaise," she replied.
