"How is it my fault my was following your lead!."

In the middle of nowhere in the late dead of the night, three mares were naked in the forest near the undiscovered west's. Two of the mares were arguing who's at fault for their loss in an of game stripe n dare poker in which all three were in a team against another three other mares who challenge them and throw in five-hundred bits hardened the deal.

"You said you could read them like a book."
"I can, the only problem was you didn't pick up the eight.!" the second mare objected.

The first mare right eye twitch in anger, "we were playing strip poker, damn it, not goldfish!."

"well, if you had warned me instead of drool of that mountain of bits, we would still wearing our clothes!." she said, brushing her mane away from her face.

While listening to their argument, the third mare looked at the tree line, trying to take her mind off her current predicament of their loss and humiliation never believed she would be here without clothes.

"Hey Keyheart!." the first mare shouted, startling her in prosses turning towards them.

"Sorry for dragging you into this. If I've known this would happen, I wouldn't have asked you and ChainHeart in playing," she says with a look of disappointment on her face that she asks ChainHeart to be on their team.

"It fine, no worries as long as we can get our clothes back; it's f-AAHHH."
KeyHeart let out a small shriek and falling on her bottom. "What is it." "Lockheart behind you," she said weakly and pointed at the tree line.

Both mares turn around, and their eyes widen as they see two sizeable glowing eyes coming from the forest with a soulless gaze looking back at them without a sense of reason nor a sign of purpose. As it slowly moves closer to them, "oh shit," Chainheart and Lockheart Quickly helped Keyheart up and take a couple of steps back.

Not wanting to let the creature close the distance gap between them, Lockheart whispered to them to run, not wishing to get captured by their attacker.

"Are you kidding me where we are going to run plus their one of him, and I still got my bat nearby. I got this" Chainheart pickup the bat she had nearby on the ground, prepare to fight the creatures off. Until another pair of eyes appear than twelve more appear in the tree line, causing the mares faces to change to fear as were in front of a hoard of the beasts. "Aight new plan, let's leg it."

As soon the mare turns around, an army of eyes was right before cutting off their escape route.

A half-mile away, a large group of ponies was packing up prepare to leave the area after sometime partying. They decided to move elsewhere so they won't be bothered by anyone.

"Alright, are we to get out of here." Everypony cheers for excitement as they were about to leave, " then let's get out of here."

As the ponies begin to walk back towards the mine road while pegasus files ahead of them, one mare picks up some clothes underneath a tree and puts them in her backpack before running off, meeting up with others at the path. Once there, she run-up to one stallion and jumps on him.

"Hey, easy, I nearly fall on my back one step at a time."
As the stallion regains his balance, he notices the backpack she has is full than usual " what's in the bag? You didn't take their clothes, did you?"

"Well, duh, they won't be missing them." she snickers as she jumps off the stallion, running off to the rest of the ponies with stallion run behind her.

As the two ran to catch up, a pegasus came from the opposite direction crash land a few yards past them. The group came to see what happened. When they arrived at the scene, the mare was lying on the ground, her wings tattered and her arm covered in blood.

"R-Run," the mare said, trying to sit up, "monsters are coming run." everypony looks at her with slight confusion for a minute then starts laughing at her. "yeah, good one monsters coming to get us."

"I mean it all the other pegasus was taken some flying monsters in cloaks," she said in terror as tears run down her face.

"Oh, no monster on the forest, can you come up with a better joke."
The stallion steps out of the crowd and closet to the tree line. "HEY, MONSTER ARE YOU THERE TRY TO GRAB ME HERE? I'LL EVEN TURN MY BACK TO YOU..... see nothing."

Just as the stallion walk back to the group, a chain wrap around his neck, he soon was swiftly pulled and dragged into the forest where large glowing eyes peered back at them for a moment than aggressively charge at them. Each of the eyes shot an energy blast at the ponies, disabling them as they ran from them trying to escape, but some figures in cloaks cut them off., preventing them from escape.

"HEY MARBLE COME ON IT'S LATE," Lime Stone called out for Marble in an aggressive tone.

"So help if you are outside I'll-" Limestone open the down to the house porch look for Marble but could find her. She than toward the ground to her surpriseģd Marble was tied up and her mouth gag. LimeStonewalk up to untie her. She felt a sudden pain in the back of her head. Then she fell to the ground. Three cloak figures stand above her, while nine others enter their house.

"Come and see the newest show on the boardwalk. Get your tickets now before their gone." As the ticket master sell seat ticket to the passerby, a smoke bomb exploded in the street everypony was startled by the sudden blast, as the ponies scurry around in confusion as an ominous atmosphere, a large force of soldiers charging out of the veil of smoke.

Meanwhile, in Vanhoover, resident ponies are running in the streets trying to run from unknown assailants as an explosion of smoke and loud sound echo through the city. At the same time, Rays of energy hit everypony in its wake. In the chaos, a mother carrying her colt fall to the ground, trying to escape she tries to get up, a large shadow eclipse over her and colt.

Late at Night, Twilight and Spike were sleeping in their beds when a loud knock rumble their chamber door, waking both of them up from their slumber. When they got to the door, they were surprised to see five royal guards waiting outside their door.

"Princess Twilight, we apologize for the sudden intrusion, but the kingdom is in peril." The guard said with a hint of caution in his voice."What's the problem? What's happening?." Twilight asked.

"We received word that a few hours ago, two of Equestria city had come under attack. The enemy has taken over Los Pegasus, Van Hoover, and the nearby Rock Farm with additional reports confirming they're rapidly moving east with confirmation of military presence at the border of the Badlands and Crystal Empire" Twilight and Spike eyes widen in shock of the news.

"Do we have any information about the invading forces, what do they want, how many are there." Twilight Inquisitively ask.

"We don't know we prepared to send our forces, but we need your approval." The guard says, waiting for Twilight's response, who still took back the new she just heard.

"Twi, I don't think you should go to war with them." Twilight turns to Spike in shock, "what did you just say, spike."

"Hear me out they just took all of West Equestria, and they're station in the north and south borders with no sign of stopping. They could have gone straight for the capital but instead, go East something does seem right." Spike retorted the situation. Looking at Spike and back to the guards, Twilight wanted to turn away on the thought of war, but her thoughts became clouded with possibilities of countless death and destruction. But she can deny the fact that Equestria will fall if nothing is done.

"I know what must be done." Twilight steel herself than turn her attention to Spike.

"Spike, I don't know what will happen, but in case of the worst scenario, I'm teleporting you to the dragon land, get lord ember and all of our allies to help us as soon as possible." Twilight horn glow than she shot a beam of energy at Spike, teleporting him to the dragon land.

She turns to her guards, instructing them to gather all of our soldiers, have them around central Equestria, and immediately calls her counsel.

"I'm sorry to call you all in the middle of the night, but I wouldn't have called you all unless it was dire," Twilight said in a sensitive tone.

"Don't worry about it, the wonderbolts are taking a break from training for a bit, so I had some time." Rainbow reply.

"I would rather have my beauty sleep, but if this is more important than darling, you have my support." Rarity gleefully said.

"Same here."
"I'll do what I can to help."
"If this is going to be a party, then let's do it."

"Thank you, all of you, for your aid," Twilight said in a sigh of relief, as began to explain the situation to them as simple as she can since everyone is still tired. After hearing the news, everyone was surprised at the revelation of the invading forces.

"Invasion are you for real." Rainbow Dash reply in disbelief."Why are they attacking us? What do they want? , and where did they come from? Something ain't right." Applejack lament.

"This is crazy, who would have thought… oh, hey, where is Spike? I haven't seen him since we came."

"Oh my, I haven't noticed where is spike wikey." All of them look at the empty chair was Spike suppose to sit. "Sorry, girls, I sent spike to the dragon land to get help from Dragon Lord Ember and all our allies."

Twilight said while giving them more information about the invading forces and where they have occupied within Equestria. As the meeting continues, Starlight and a guard enter the room with a disturbing look on their face.

"Starlight is theirs something wrong you look as thou seen the end of the world." Starlight Glimmer looks down at the floor than at Twilight " We have a problem we've are cut off from the rest the world."

Everyone looks at Starlight with confusion about what she says. Twilight stands up from her chair and walks over to her. "what do you mean we are cut off from the world."

Starlight uses her magic to create a map of Equestria. She then starts making a map that had confirm information about the invading forces along with parts of the north, south, and east of Equestria with present confirmation of military presence at the new locations.

"This map represents what is currently going on in Equestria at this very moment. The yellow represents part of the Equestria that had been taken five hours ago.

Starlight uses her magic to highlight more areas on the map.

"This blue part is where we are canturlot, Pineville, clouds dale, and the everfree forest are untouched." using her magic again to highlight red areas of the map.

"But, these areas represent the current location of what is happening right now." Looking at the map with everyone in the chamber can see that most Equestria have ben taken cost to cost.

In the north, a blockade from Van Hoover to Manehattan has cut them off from the Crystal Empire and Yakyakanstan. In contrast, another blockade had formed along the eastern coast prevented anypony from leaving, and in the south, a large force has assembled, cutting off all entry to the badlands and beyond.

"What in the world we're surrounded." Rainbow Dash exclaimed, seeing all most of the map dominated by red color.

"They haven't tried to take the Crystal Empire nor do they want to go south to the badlands so-"

"AAHHHHH," Pinky scream, cutting off Twilight mid-sentence. "Pinky, what is it."

"My home, they have taken over my home, my family." Pinky sob over the revelation that her home has been taken.

"I'm sorry, pinky. I promise to do what I can to help you, but for now, we need to focus on the invading forces attack and position."

Twilight turned to Starlight Glimmer, requesting more information about the invading forces and their strength. Once given all the information, Twilight turns everyone to discuss to repel the enemy.

Daybreak arrives over the invaders' camp, soldiers moving left and right, setting up the base last piece of defense as supplies came in being directive to their designation locations. As more supplies came, a lone soldier walks through them until she reaches a cluster of large tents. She enters one passing by soldiers in their operation station toward the tent's rear, sitting behind a crudely made desk a lone individual reading over report logs from all battalion.

"Sir, I'm here to give an update on Web Vine."

"Report any new any new information about this land." The figure turns to her.

"Yes sir, the information we have gathered since, after our arrival, we have more insight into this land than before, its locations, and the many creatures we are now ready for a counter-attack from the local resistant."

"Good dismiss."

"Sir, there is one more thing RedMerrow wishes to begin the Renis Training you promise to let him do."

"Tell him he has my authorization dismiss." As the mare salute than walks away, the individual moves a tower miniature on the Equestria map that is on the table " Alright Equestria, show me strength."
