291. Sometimes a Family is Six Lesbians

Rarity stretched her arms over her head and yawned, Applejack putting an arm around her as the two sat in the Crystal Empire’s inn lobby. It had been a long day, between everything that had happened with Rarity’s parents, and then with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom, Rarity had cause to be exhausted.

And while a part of her wanted to head directly for bed, she wanted to wait up for the rest of the girls. Spike was having a sleepover with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom at Rarity’s parents’ home—which Rarity was slightly concerned about, but Spike and Twilight both insisted, and if a worrywart like Twilight was fine with it, then how could Rarity complain?

Anyhow, the point of the matter was that it was one of the few times when the six of them would actually have a chance to be all together by themselves, and Rarity couldn’t miss that.

Rarity jolted upright with a beaming smile as she heard the front door to the inn opening, as her smile only grew wider as she laid eyes on dear Fluttershy walking in, Rarity jumping to her hooves and running to Fluttershy to put her arms around the sweetheart, Fluttershy letting out a yelp of surprise before she returned the embrace.

“How are you, my dearest?” Rarity asked, brushing hair away from Fluttershy’s beautiful face.

“I feel fantastic,” Fluttershy smiled, and Rarity felt like she could just kiss Fluttershy then and there, and then realized she could in fact just do that, so she leaned in to do just that! Fluttershy was a very graceful kisser, and feeling her lips against Rarity’s made Rarity feel like she was falling in love with her all over again.

“Howdy, Fluttershy!” Applejack tipped her hat to Fluttershy as she and Rarity returned to the lobby seating area.

“It’s great to see you, Applejack,” Fluttershy did a little curtsy with the hem of her dress, and Rarity swore her heart was going to literally burst with affection.

“It’s good to see me too, right?!” Pinkie Pie asked, suddenly appearing from under one of the couch’s cushions and scaring Rarity half to death, the unicorn jumping behind Fluttershy with a scream.

“Pinkie Pie!” Rarity chastised, throwing her fists down in front of her indignantly as Pinkie chuckled to herself. “You’ll give a mare a heart attack!”

“You gotta admit, Rarity,” Applejack snickered from behind Rarity, who glowered at her in bemusement, “it was a little funny.”

Rarity turned up her nose, then looked over to Fluttershy who had a bashful smile on her face and pinched her fingers together, keeping a tiny amount of space between them.

“Fine,” Rarity sighed, walking over to Pinkie’s couch and settling down next to the tiny mare, ruffling her mane as Pinkie giggled and snorted, “a little funny.”

“Awww, did I miss a classic Pinkie Pie Prank?” Rainbow Dash bemoaned as she walked down the stairs into the lobby, rubbing the back of her neck.

“I’m afraid so,” Fluttershy responded as she sat on Pinkie’s other side, wrapping her wing around the cuddly pink earth pony. “I’m sure you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see them though.”

“Yeah!” Pinkie beamed. “Who knows, I may even be planning another one RIGHT NOW!”

There was a moment of silence as all five women looked around them, waiting for something to happen.

“I’m not,” Pinkie giggled, “but I could’ve been!”

“Well I’ll still stay on my hooves, just in case,” Rainbow chuckled and pounded Pinkie’s fist with her own. “Hey, Rarity.”

“Darling,” Rarity said seductively, crossing one leg over the other and delighting in the way Rainbow turned her gaze away and rubbed the back of her neck. Rainbow was nothing if not predictable, and to be quite honest Rarity appreciated that about her a lot.

“How was your day, Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy asked sweetly.

“It was pretty wild,” Rainbow said, putting a ponderous finger up to her lips, and as soon as Rarity started noticing Rainbow’s lips, she couldn’t help but think about kissing them. “Me and Twi ran into that assassin kid from the Neighagra Falls Inn? I dunno, I kinda wanna talk to her tomorrow, if I can. She’s just a kid, y’know? I wanna help her out if I can, like, I dunno, do kid stuff. Becoming an assassin at that age must be rough. I dunno, maybe I’m overthinking.”

“Probably a tad,” Rarity chimed in, “but I think your heart is in the right place. Obviously you need to respect the child’s boundaries, but if you can find some common ground, that would be marvelous.”

“Yeah,” Rainbow nodded. “Thanks, Rarity.”

“You can thank me by kissing me, you useless lesbian,” Rarity stood up and put her arms around Rainbow’s waist, Rainbow standing on her tippy hooves and kissing Rarity on the lips, the unicorn moaning in delight as she melted into Rainbow’s embrace, the pegasus wrapping Rarity up with her wings as she was wont to do.

“Rarity,” Rainbow said breathlessly.

“Yes darling?” Rarity replied, holding Rainbow as close to her body as she was able.

“I’m gay,” Rainbow said.

“Damn, same,” Rarity replied, before laying another kiss onto her beautiful, sexy, gorgeous, radiant, magnificent pegasus girlfriend.

“Hey now,” Applejack stood up and cleared her throat, “don’t leave me outta all this gay stuff.”

Rainbow turned around to face Applejack, getting a smack against her ass from Rarity for her trouble that made the pegasus yelp and look back at Rarity with a bashful smile, Rarity winking in reply.

“Howdy,” Applejack said simply, and Rainbow rushed over to her and jumped into the earth mare’s waiting arms, Applejack carrying Rainbow bridal style as Rainbow put her arms around Applejack and laid into her with kiss after kiss.

Fluttershy cooed as she watched them, and she grabbed Pinkie and held her tightly, burying her snout in Pinkie’s fluffy mane, Pinkie giggling like a smitten schoolfilly all the while.

It was a delightful scene on either side, though Rarity was starting to miss a certain purple someone… and as if on cue, Rarity heard the doors to the inn open up, and there she was.

“Hi, Ra—” Twilight said as Rarity teleported over to her, but Rarity couldn’t wait to shut her up with a passionate kiss, pinning her against the wall and making her weak at the knees as Twilight trembled in Rarity’s embrace. “W-wow. You miss me today?”

“A tad,” Rarity said and kissed Twilight again, before leading her by the hand back to the rest of the girls.

“Twilight!” Fluttershy was the first to respond, smiling brightly and waving at Twilight, who waved politely back.

“It’s good to see you, Fluttershy,” Twilight said with a tender smile. “And of course, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie.”

“Yeayeayeayeayea whatever!” Pinkie crawled off of Fluttershy and onto the arm of the couch before pushing Fluttershy. “Get to the smooching already, sheesh! What’re you waiting for!”

“Well, um, if you insist,” Fluttershy said, trying to pretend as if she wasn’t dying to give Twilight a kiss. And after all, who wouldn’t be?

Rarity pushed Twilight forward, and the two dragons locked lips, sharing a sweet and passionate kiss. Rarity had to muster up all of her willpower to not just start grabbing them right there and doing stuff to them in the middle of the lobby, but she wanted the two to have their moment.

Twilight and Fluttershy held each other’s hands and looked each other in the eyes silently for a moment, and Rarity wondered what they were thinking about, but then immediately got distracted by both women’s beauty. Stars, they were both so hot.

“Okay, my turn!” Rainbow clamored, and quite frankly Rarity admired her restraint for waiting so long.

Rainbow zipped to the couch on the other side of Twilight, before barreling into Twilight herself, knocking the dragon into Applejack’s waiting arms, where the large mare then comfortingly wrapped herself around a purring Twilight, Applejack kissing her head while Rainbow came in and kissed her face, for some absolutely stellar tag team action.

With all of the formalities and smooching behind them, the girls sat down and got settled, somehow all six of them managing to fit onto a single couch.

“I hope everyone is comfortable,” Rarity laughed as she was squished in between Twilight and Fluttershy.

“I am!” Rainbow helpfully chimed in, perched on the back of the couch behind Applejack, who happened to have a Pinkie Pie sitting on her shoulder.

“Me too!” Pinkie added, and Rarity rolled her eyes playfully.

“You know, it’s funny…” Rarity hummed and laughed softly to herself, unsure if she could really say what she was thinking, or if she was too embarrassed.

“What’s up, Rarity?” Twilight asked, putting a hand on Rarity’s thigh.

“Yeah, what’s on your mind, dear?” Fluttershy added, holding Rarity’s hand.

It was almost enough to bring a tear to Rarity’s eye the way she felt so overwhelmed with love. It wasn’t that long ago that she spent weeks in bed because she was too depressed to leave, and now while she still had her fair share of struggles, she all these beautiful, amazing, wonderful women to share the burdens and the celebrations with.

“When I was speaking to my family earlier,” Rarity said, trying not to get choked up, “I think I sort of mentioned in passing, maybe as a joke, the idea of the six of us finding work together. My dad joked that he didn’t realize the six of us were living together, but it made me think…

“I wouldn’t mind that.”

“What, us all living together?” Twilight asked, and Rarity nodded but she was far too embarrassed to look at Twilight.

“Where would we live?” Rainbow laughed. “We’re on the road all the time!”

“That’s not—” Rarity bit her lip. It was sort of too late to back out now, so she figured she may as well state what was on her mind. “It’s not so much the living together thing, as much as it’s… I like the idea, of the six of us, all being… a bit of a unit, you know? I’m already dating half the girls in this group, Twilight’s dating everyone but Pinkie Pie, I know a few of you have crushes you’re too anxious to admit to.”

Fluttershy darted her eyes around the room nervously, Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck, Applejack covered her eyes with her hat, Twilight chuckled awkwardly, and Pinkie Pie twirled a strand of hair around her finger and whistled off-key.

“Anyway,” Rarity said sheepishly, “what do you all think? Obviously it’s completely fine if none of you want to—”

“I wanna date Pinkie Pie!” Rainbow said and raised her hand. “And Fluttershy!”

“Me too!” Pinkie added, raising both hands. “Wait, I am Pinkie Pie, and I’m already dating Fluttershy. But you know what I mean!”

“I mean,” Applejack chuckled, “at some point one of us was bound to kiss another one of us cuz they just forgot who’s dating who.”

“That already happened,” Fluttershy giggled into her hand, Twilight turning bright red.

“Honestly,” Twilight said, “I would love that. A big family is something I’ve always wanted, and being part of a big family with a bunch of hot girls I can kiss? Sign me up!”

“So—is this—are we—” Fluttershy stammered.

“I’m alright with it,” Applejack shrugged.

“OH THANK GOD,” Fluttershy breathed a massive sigh of relief, “cuz I’ve had the biggest crush on Applejack lately and I had no clue how to tell her!”

“Wha—you had a crush on me?!” Applejack balked. “I have a crush on you!

“WHAT?!” Fluttershy squealed, and Rarity tried to keep her laughter to herself, but they were just too precious.

“WHY ARE YOU TWO NOT KISSING ALREADY!?” Pinkie screamed and flailed her arms, Rainbow kicking Applejack until she got off the couch, Fluttershy nervously stepping up to her.

The two stood there in silence for a moment, before both of them bashfully turned away from each other.

“I—everyone’s watching now, I’m embarrassed,” Fluttershy whispered.

“It’s okay,” Applejack said softly, brushing back Fluttershy’s hair and looking her in the eye, and Rarity couldn’t believe how smooth she was being. “We’ll have plenty of time later.”

“Yeah,” Fluttershy bit her lip, “I like that.”

“TWILIGHT KISS ME!” Pinkie screamed as she catapulted herself into Twilight’s arms, Twilight laughing like an adorable goof as she happily obliged Pinkie’s request, kissing her softly on her lips, on her snout, and on her cheeks, Pinkie snorting affectionately.

“Okay, I’m definitely gonna kiss some of you nerds,” Rainbow cleared her throat and tried to work herself up, before shielding herself behind her wings, “eventually.”

“What’s the matter, Rainbow Dash?” Fluttershy said seductively as she perched on the back of the couch right alongside Rainbow, spreading her wing out to cover the pegasus. “You nervous?”

“W—damn, Fluttershy,” Rainbow said, her whole entire face bright red, “what got into you all of a sudden?”

“I dunno,” Fluttershy giggled, covering her face with her hair, “I just thought it’d be fun, and it WAS!”

“I’m gonna kiss Rainbow Dash or die trying!” Pinkie declared, jumping up onto the back of the couch, Fluttershy helping her up to reach Rainbow Dash, who she then pushed onto the ground behind the couch and jumped down after, Rainbow’s laughter and Pinkie’s smooches still being perfectly audible.

“Dang, Rarity,” Applejack chuckled and put her arm around Rarity, who hummed contentedly and leaned into her dear friend’s embrace, a slight giggle coming from her lips as she watched Fluttershy disappear behind the couch, “I think you may be a genius.”

“I think I just might be,” Rarity said softly, tracing her finger under Applejack’s chin before the taller mare lowered herself down into smooching range. “Now,” Rarity turned her lustful eye toward Twilight Sparkle, “help me tag team our dear friend Twilight Sparkle, won’t you?”

“Oh, I’d be just delighted to,” Applejack grinned and Twilight looked over at the two with an innocently quizzical look.

It was going to be a long night, but it was going to be so, SO worth it.
