// Reunion In The City That Started It All

Turquoise made it to Vermillion City and arrived at the Pokemon Center to ask Professor Oak to send her back her Corviknight. After exchanging her Milotic for her Corviknight Turquoise was on her way to Diglett’s Cave when a man with a Blaziken approached her.

“ Hey, miss, are you a pokemon trainer?” The man asked.

 “ I am,” Turquoise said.

“ Then you’re in luck I’m a move Tutor and I can teach your Pokemon one of three powerful moves,” The move tutor said. Turquoise gave it some thought and figured if the Viridian City Gym Leader was as tough as she was told then a move like this could be helpful.

“ Sure I’m in,” Turquoise said.

“ Excellent. First, let me see all of your Pokemon,” The move Tutor said before Turquoise called all six of her Pokemon out. The Move tutor looked at Venusaur with intrigue before giving his verdict. “ Your Venusaur is ready to learn the move Frenzy Plant.

“ Sweet. So how does this move work?” Turquoise asked.

“ Allow me to demonstrate,” The Move Tutor said before he called out a Serperior. “ Superior use Frenzy Plant. Superior slammed its tail on the ground and caused a bunch of giant thorny vines to sprout out of the ground. “ The key to using this move is to channel the energy in the earth and then summon the roots in the ground to strike your opponent.

“ Ok, we are ready to try. Venusaur use Frenzy Plant. Venusaur slammed his front legs onto the ground and managed to summon a little sprout instead of a bunch of thorny vines.

“ Keep at it and you will have it down,” The Move Tutor said.





Meanwhile in a gym in a city between Saffron City and Celadon City Rainbow and her Blastoise were nearing the end of their gym battle. Their opponent was Glalie and a gym leader dressed like a snowboarder. 

“ Blastoise finish this with Hydro Cannon. Blastoise unleashed his Hydro Cannon on Glalie with enough power to knock it out.

“ Glalie is unable to battle Blastoise is the winner which means the winner of the battle is Rainbow the challenger,” The ref said as he pointed his right flag at Rainbow.

“ Aw yeah, we won,” Rainbow said as the Gym Leader approached her.

“ Dudette that was a very gnarly battle you gave me and as proof of your victory here at the Diamond City Gym I present you with the Powder Badge,” The Gym Leader said as he gave Rainbow a white and silver badge that looked like a blizzard.

“ Thanks, dude,” Rainbow said as she took the badge and left. As soon as her Pokemon were all healed she bundled up and walked towards Mt. Frost to climb to the summit. After enduring strong blizzards and avoiding causing avalanches, Rainbow made it to the top and clenched her fist. “ Turquoise, Twilight, wait for me because I am on my way to Viridian City and I am going to do it with some awesomeness. Rainbow called out her Braviary and got on his back. “ Braviary take off for Viridian City. Braviary took off with Rainbow on his back like she didn’t weigh anything at all and flew off into the horizon.





Meanwhile back in Sapphire City Twilight was in the middle of her own Gym battle against a Gym Leader dressed as a female samurai with pink armor. Twilight and the gym Leader were both down to their last pokemon. Twilight with her now fully evolved Charizard and the Gym Leader with her Aegislash.

“ Time to end this. Agislash use Flash Cannon. Agislash unleashed a powerful blast of white energy that was very bright.

“ Couldn’t agree more. Charizard use Blast Burn. Charizard unleashed a powerful blast of fire that collided with the Flash Cannon. Both moves pushed against each other without giving an inch until the Blast Burn managed to overpower the Flash Cannon and defeated Aegislash.

“ Aegislash is unable to battle Charizard is the winner which means the challenger wins the match,” The ref said as she pointed her right flag at Twilight.

“ We did Charizard we won on our first try,” Twilight said while hugging her Charizard as the gym Leader approached them.

“ Young Lady, that was a very honorable and well-thought match. As proof of your victory here at the Sapphire City Gym, I present you with the Forge Badge,” The Gym Leader said as she gave Twilight a badge shaped like a pair of katana’s crossing each other.

“ Thank you,” Twilight said as she took the badge. Twilight and the others went back to the Pokemon center so Twilight could heal her pokemon before setting off for Viridian City. As soon as everyone was all set to go the girls left with Twilight looking determined. “ Turquoise, Rainbow I hope you two are waiting for us because we are on our way to Viridian City.





Back with Turquoise she and her Venusaur managed to work on getting a feel for the energy in the earth and moved on to summoning the roots.

“ Remember to feel the energy of the earth. Venusaur use Frenzy Plant. Venusaur slammed his front legs on the ground and managed to summon some thorny vines indicating Venusaur has successfully mastered Frenzy Plant.

“ Well done you two. You have successfully learned Frenzy Plant,” The Move Tutor said.

“ Thanks now we're ready for our final Gym Battle,” Turquoise said.

“ Just remember once you use Frenzy Plant your Venusaur won't be able to use any moves for a while since he will need to recharge,” The Move Tutor warned.

“ Got it,” Turquoise said before she recalled Venusaur and left for Diglett’s Cave. After entering Diglett’s cave Turquoise noticed a bunch of trainers gathered inside. “ Looks like I’m not the only one using the short cut to Viridian City. Turquoise and her team charged into the gauntlet of trainers they would be battling.





Back with Twilight and her friends they were currently in Pewter City trying to convince Rarity to come with them.

“ I refuse to go back into that horrid forest with all those Bug-Types,” Rarity said.

“ Come on Rarity we have to. Route 2 is on the other side and our friends might be waiting for us,” Twilight said.

“ I don't care I rather stay here than let those icky bugs web me up and crawl all over me,” Rarity said.

“ It was just the one time and it was just a Caterpie,” Applejack said.

“ Don,t care leave me if you must but I refuse to get a string shot in my hair again,” Rarity said.

“ Then you leave us with no choice,” Applejack said before calling out her Yamper.

“ What are you doing Applejack?” Rarity asked nervously as Yamper began to build up electricity.

“ This is for your own good. Yamper use Nuzzle on Rarity,” Applejack said before Yamper nuzzled Rarity and not only paralyzed her but knocked her out too.

“ Was that really necessary?” Twilight asked as Applejack picked Rarity up piggyback style.

“ We have a schedule to keep and we have no time for all this drama,” Applejack said.

“ Very well but you’re carrying her,” Twilight said before she and Applejack with Rarity on her back entered the forest.





Sometime later Turquoise arrived on the other side of Diglett’s Cave with all her Pokemon barely standing.

“ Man these trainers mean business, fortunately, we made it,” Turquoise said before approaching what looked like a cabin. After going inside she ran into Fluttershy who looked surprised to see Turquoise.

“ Good to see you again Turquoise,” Fluttershy said.

“ You too Fluttershy. How has your journey been?” Turquoise asked.

“ It was amazing. I learned a lot about breeding and even met Brock the greatest pokemon doctor,” Fluttershy said.

“ That’s amazing,” Turquoise said.

“ What about you, how is your journey going?” Fluttershy asked.

“ Mine is also great. I finally have five ribbons and I’m on my way back to Viridian City to get my final gym badge,” Turquoise said before she remembered why she stopped by. “ But before that my pokemon and I need some rest.

“ Tough battles on the way to this point?” Fluttershy asked.

“ Yep and running from the collapsing ground caused by all the decaying of the ground inside the tunnel,” Turquoise said.

“ Well you can rest here and I will heal your Pokemon,” Fluttershy said.

“ Thanks, Fluttershy,” Turquoise said before passing out on the couch.

“ Anytime,” Fluttershy said. After Turquoise called out all her Pokemon Fluttershy was impressed with how much they have grown since she last saw them. “ I must say Turquoise took great care of them especially since they held on this long in so many battles. After healing Turquosie’s pokemon to the point where they were back on their feet, Fluttershy asked if she could come with Turquoise to watch her Gym Battle.

“ Sure the more the merrier,” Turquoise said. Turquoise and Fluttershy left the cabin and entered Route 2 where Viridian City was on the horizon. After entering the city limits Turquoise looked back on the first day of her journey. “ This brings me back to the first day of my journey.

“ I know what you mean when my friends and I came to this region we had conflicting goals that had us split up rather than sticking together,” Fluttershy said.

“ You have some great friends. Growing up the only friend I had was my Eevee.

“ How did you two meet by the way?” Fluttershy asked.

“ When I was seven a bunch of kids who I thought were kind enough to invite me to play ball with them sent me into the woods to retrieve that ball which caused me to fall into a mica pit. Eevee took my scarf and ran back to the town to get help. Luckily for me, she was there or I would not be here talking about it,” Turquoise said.

“ What happened to the kids who sent you into the woods?” Fluttershy asked.

“ Their parents made them come see me in the hospital to apologize and were each grounded for two weeks. They avoided me like the plague since then thinking avoiding me would keep them out of trouble,” Turquoise said.

“ You know my friends are now your friends as well,” Fluttershy said.

“ I know and I am glad to have met all of you,” Turquoise said. As soon as they entered the Pokemon Center both Turquoise and Fluttershy were surprised to see pinkie and her Totodile. “ Pinkie what brings you here?

“ My pinkie sense told me you would be here,” Pinkie said.

“ Can it do that?” Fluttershy asked.

“ Just kidding I knew Turquoise would want to challenge the gym here so Totadile and I high tailed it here as fast as we could so we could cheer her on,” Pinkie said.

“ That’s good to hear and hopefully the others will be here soon,” Turquoise said.

“ Others?” Fluttershy asked.

“ Yep Twilight, Rainbow, and I made a promise to meet up here when we each earned our seventh badges,” Turquoise said before Nurse Joy gave her back her pokemon. After having her team healed, Turquoise and the girls decided to look around Viridian City while they waited for the others.





Meanwhile in the sky above Rainbow was zipping along on her Braviary when she spotted Viridian City beneath her. After seeing Turquoise along with Fluttershy and Pinkie she dove down while shouting.

“ INCOMING,” Rainbow shouted as she jumped off her Braviary and landed on the ground unscathed.

“ That’s Dashie alright anything she does she does it with a bang of awesomeness,” Pinkie said.

“ I see you two already met Turquoise,” Rainbow said.

“ How did your seventh gym battle go?” Turquoise asked.

“ It wasn't easy but we did it,” Rainbow said while showing Turquoise her Powder badge.

“ Nice,” Turquoise said.

“ Good to see you, girls, again,” Twilight shouted from the distance with Applejack and Rarity behind as they ran.

“ Twilight, how was your seventh Gym Battle?” Turquoise asked excitedly.

“ It was a challenge but I managed to win and on my first try too,” Twilight said while showing her Forge badge.

“ Now tell us about your seventh Gym Battle,” Rainbow and Twilight asked in unison.

“ That is quite the tale. As I was on my way to Cinnabar Island and talking about my next gym battle. The other people on the boat tell me Cinnabar Island has no gym,” Turquoise said.

“ Then how did you get your seventh badge?” Pinkie asked.

“ I’m getting to that. Anyway, after arriving on the island it was full of tourists and souvenir stands and not a single trainer insight. After noticing that this man who turned out to be the Gym Leader in disguise led me around with his riddles until I found his secret gym and defeated him,” Turquoise said as she showed them her Volcano badge.

“ Where was this secret gym?” Rainbow asked.

“ I think Blaine would not like it if I told anyone about it since it would defeat the purpose of his riddles,” Turquoise said.

“ Whoever this Blaine guy was I think he and I would get along quite nicely,” Twilight said.

“ Enough talk let's head to the gym,” Rainbow said before Pinkie stopped her.

“ Whoa there Dashie. What’s the rush? It's been months since all of us have been together like this,” Pinkie said.

“ Your right everyone is here,” Twilight said.

“ Then let's celebrate,” Pinkie said.

“ I know the perfect place,” Rarity said. Turquoise was going to take this as her cue to leave until Pinkie stopped her.

“ Where are you going? When I said let’s celebrate that includes you as well Turq,” Pinkie said.

“ Do you mean?” Turquoise asked.

“ You are one of us now and we want you to join us,” Rarity said.

“ You mean that?” Turquoise asked.

“ Of course we do, silly. Now don't just stand there let's get going,” Pinkie said as Turquoise followed them. Rarity showed them to a very fancy restaurant she came across the first time she was in Viridian City. The girls all celebrated their reunion and Turquoise felt like she made some real friends for the first time in her life.
