Equestria Girls: Symbol Of Undying Love

Hospital time, and girl time

After Discord had finished his examination, he woke Manny up. Then Discord went over what he discovered. As it turns out, Manny did have 2nd degree burns, but couldn't immediately feel it due to his magic being scrambled. Since Manny was made of mostly magic, the magic that made up his nerves where still trying to get back in order, so they couldn't properly tell Manny just how much damage he'd received. This would fix itself in time, and the more it did, the more pain Manny would be in. It had been an hour before Manny could properly feel again, and he made it known.

Luckily for Manny, Gaster could pull him into his mindscape and keep him there, at least until the doctors on staff could find a way to give him pain medication. Since the injury seemed to cancel out any and all magic, and Manny didn't have enough mass to produce blood and veins, they couldn't inject him with pain medication or healing magic. However, Discord could repeatedly disperse Manny's nerves, since Discord's specific chaos magic could somewhat bypass the anti magic around his wound for a short period of time. Discord had attempted to use healing magic, but he wasn't that good at it, so he couldn't do much at a time. Manny had no choice but to heal the long way, and while Manny was waiting, Gaster had made sure to keep Manny's mind sharp. Or at least, as sharp as Manny could get it, progress was made either way. Though Manny was told not to use his magic while he recovers, just to be safe.

Abbey would make sure to visit him when she could. She was normally busy with Fire, who had agreed to use her position to help them get a proper foot in this world, in exchange for their help in various things. Of course Fire would also help them learn things to better their ability to help her, though there was one thing she wanted to do that Abbey had to keep a secret. Right now the two were alone in a sealed room, Fire's hand on the right side of Abbey's neck, and Abbey's eyes closed.

"Not gonna lie, this is a bit…" Abbey trails off.

"I know, but I don't know how Equestrain magic will react to this world's magic directly, so this is to make sure no one important is hurt." Fire says, which confused Abbey.

"But wouldn't you and I be hurt?" Abbey asked.

'Well you're far too weak to hurt me, and you're far from important. So again, no one important will be hurt.' Fire thought. 'Relax, at most you'll feel exhausted since I'll remove the magic before anything bad can happen, and I'm strong enough to tank the amount of magic I'm using should it harmlessly burst out of you." Fire says, lying about the first part. 'Not that you'll remember this if things go south anyway.' Fire then began to pump magic into Abbey, causing Abbey to gasp as she felt a spike of power. This went on for a while, as Fire was weaving certain spells while pumping magic in Abbey.

"Mom would kill me if she saw this." Abbey says, rubbing the spot Fire had touched, which now had a black version of her cutie mark.

"Well luckily for you, I made it to where she couldn't." Fire says. "There's a few more hours until visiting hours open, wanna head into town and get Manny something? I'm sure he'd appreciate it."

"But won't people recognize me as Manny's mother? Plus you and I look and sound the exact same, wouldn't that cause problems?" Abbey says.

"Already taken care of." Fire says with a dismissing wave.

"Then sure." Abbey says with a smile. "Where to first?"

"Probably the mall, it gets boring just waiting in the hospital to recover, so we should get him something to occupy his time. Sure there's TV, but that gets boring after awhile." Fire says, then gives Abbey a serious look. "By the way, during our ride there, we'll stop in certain locations. During those stops, I want you to memorize the location. If what you said about Equestrain teleportation is true, then memorizing should be enough. I wanna see just how well you can teleport to and from places you've just seen, and how well your memory is. Gotta know what I'm working with." Fire stated. Seeing Abbey nod, the two set out.

During the car ride, Abbey decided to ask a question that's been bugging her.

“Hey Fire, what’s your dad like?” Abbey asked, causing Fire to raise a brow.

“Where’d that come from?” She asked back.

“The chances of us having the same name while having different parents are almost nonexistent, so if I’m right, we should have the same mom and dad. Well my version of them had a falling out when I was too young to remember, so I’d like to learn about him through you.” Abbey explaine, causing Fire to go wide eyed.

“The same happened to my version of them.” She says, then gained a thoughtful look. “Though by the sounds of it, you stayed with your mom, while I stayed with my dad. I wonder why it’s different.”

“So, can you tell me about dad?” Abbey asked.

“Only if you agree to tell me about mom.” Fire says with a smile.

I was running, I’m not sure why, but I was running for my life.

”Oh what’s the matter? I thought you guys liked fired.”

“This hag’s crazy!”

”WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME!?”

I couldn’t make out what they were saying, but soon I started hearing screams of pain.

“Your Mom’s scary sometimes.” I heard a familiar voice say, but for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out who it was.

“Huh? Is someone there?” I asked, then heard someone running towards me.

“You should hide, I’ll tell you when it’s safe to come out.” The oddly familiar voice says. I preceded to hide in a bush.

After a few moments, whoever was running had past me. I go to get out, but I’m suddenly pulled back, and my mouth is covered.

“I didn’t say it was safe yet.” The familiar voice says. Noticing she was hugging me from behind and keeping me in a sitting position, I turned my face to see who it was.

Hospital room
Manny’s POV

My eyes shot open wide. After a 2 hours of going over the different types of bullet patterns, Gaster felt like I should get some proper sleep, so he pushed me into an actual dreaming state. I’m not sure what I saw, or how long I was actually out, but it felt important. Who was that girl? Why’d she sound familiar? I remembered my best friend’s voice, and the voice made it clear that she wasn’t my mom. So who could it be?

I’m brought back to reality by a knock on the door.

“Come in.” I say, after I say that, two pieces of bacon are brought in.

“How’s it going?” Fire asked with a wave.

“Fine.” I say, then noticed a red sun on the right side of Abbey’s neck. “Did you get a tattoo?”

“Oh I gave her that during our girl time, it’s nothing you need to worry about."

‘But why red? It kinda blends in with her hair unless it’s at a certain angle.’ I think to myself.

“Anyway, I brought some papers for you to fill out. Most of it has already been filled out for you, just a bunch of legal junk you don’t need to worry about, but you need to fill in the rest.” Fire says, handing me a stack of paper.

“What’s it for?” I asked.

“Once you’re discharged, you’ll be places in a space that make time move more quickly for you. After enough time has past for you, you’ll be sent to school along with Abbey and I.”

Well this has worked out much better than my plan ever would have. I gotta say, your almost suicidal recklessness has certainly sped things along.

“☞︎︎◆︎︎♍︎︎🙵 ❍︎︎♏︎︎✏︎“ I groaned. Gaster had also been teaching me how to speak his language properly. He figured since we were connected somehow, I’d be able to speak his language.

If it wasn’t for the fact that I knew they can’t understand you, if be scolding you about using that kind of language in front of children.
