//------------------------------// // Prologue: Reflection of your doubts. // Story: The Rising Demon Era. // by Neutral Boy //------------------------------// TwilightPOV; Out of all the villains where me and my friends faced, I never expect to be waiting for my death. How did I end in this mess in the first place? Well, it all started a few days after time traveling back to my future self to warn her. Though the disaster didn't come, I realize that I've really made a mess on my whole body, especially my mane and right eye. It took like forever to patch them up and having to ignore both Rainbow & Spike laughs at my horrible appearance. One of these, I'm pretty sure they won't be laughing anymore and getting payback on them. Seeing Spike chased around by horny animals and Rainbow switching gender by having a little tiny c- Ahem, anyways, I went to go pick up some books I bought, unaware that I was being followed. When I got the books and left the store, I got grabbed from behind and dragged to an alley. "W-What the, get your hands off of me right now or I swear I'll call the royal guards!" "Not a chance, the boss is waiting patiently for you only. Now stop struggling already." "When Princess Celestia finds out that I'm taken hostage, I swear-" I didn't get to finish my sentence as I got hit in the head, knocking me out cold. Either minutes or hours later, I didn't know how long I was unconscious. Until I felt a whole lot of cold water draping on my head as I gasp in awake. I seem to be alone in some sort of prison room, but unlike the horrible rooms I saw in my books, this one is like already clean and no signs of blood smell. I tried to get up out of this chair, but my body can't form these chains and my magic isn't working. Perhaps there's something in this prison room that nullifies magic. My ears heard the door open as I saw an armored robe pony walk inside and closing the door. "Do not worry young filly, I have no intention of harming nor mind controlling you." I heard a male stallion voice as I see him knelt down on his knees, bowing to me. "I merely wish to talk with the pupil of the Sun Goddess." "W-Who are you and where am I?" He looks up at me and stands up before backing up a few feet. "You are in a secluded area. As for who I am, well, I'm what is called a guardian traveler. Also my sincerest apologies for having my spies to ponynap you in order to keep quiet from the local public. The reason we brought you here is simply to hear about your first step journey as an element bearer." My eyes widen, how does he know that I'm the element bearers? Unless he. . . "Are you by chance another villain? Then I won't let you hurt my friends and-" "You're mistake young one, I'm neither a villain nor a hero you would blindly describe me as one." "Then if your neither one, why do you wish to hear about me being an element bearer?" He didn't talk for a minute as he walks back and forth from my eyes, walking left to right. "I heard it from my spies ever since you got your cutie mark during a certain event incident. Years later, you travel to Ponyville and make history of unlocking the Elements of Harmony with the help of your friends. I do applaud for you on not only besting Nightmare Moon, but also the chaotic trickster Discord." He stops at his tracks and glances toward me. "Though it wasn't the only thing that gotten me interested, something else entirely besides them." He walks closer to me and whispers in my left ear. "Negative emotions Twilight. Negative. Emotional. Trauma." For some reason, my whole body shivers from having the relive those awful things to remember. From the darkness Nightmare Moon made to kill us, seeing the Ursa Minor tore up several buildings, running away from a hydra, and Discord turning my friends into their opposite selves, especially me. "It hurts doesn't it? Before and after you became an element bearer, you have experienced the troubled times from your childhood years, all the way to the present time. Whether if you want to forget them or not, your mind says otherwise to me. I know that it pains you in sadness, having to bottle it all up inside and continue your daily life in Ponyville with no worry. The worst thing however, no pony especially your family, notice how deep the scars you had and didn't bother to comfort you. Not even Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Princess Celestia. Some friends and family they turn out to be, huh?" I. . . . . . I-I didn't know on how to respond back and I felt my eyes tear up. "I do have one last question to ask." I see him back away from my ear and look me deep in the eyes. "What would you do, if you were at a lowest point? Being left behind by your own friends and family you try to protect, yet they didn't appear beside you? All these years of learning to love, but get rejected and left to die?" "I. . . I-I. . . . . I-I-I don't k-know. I'm not sure on what I'll do." I hear him sigh as he backs away from me. To my surprise however, he unchained me and I didn't feel the need to try and attack him. Why would I? Somehow he was right, I never even got healed enough from my past scars. "You are free to go back to your own home. But know this Twilight Sparkle, element of magic bearer and student pupil. One day, when you feel all alone at your breaking point, someone out there will wait for you than what the others cannot do." "Y-Your letting me go? No bribe, torture, slave, or anything?" He didn't answer as I felt my whole body light up and vanish, but not before hearing his final words. "I wish you well on your unknown dangerous journey, Twilight Sparkle." SunsetPOV; I woke up after hearing a loud thunderstorm outside. Ponyfeathers, I must've stayed up all night from reading and overslept again. Wonder if there's anything to eat today? Probably nothing, or I don't feel like eating anything. So I got dressed and walk into the kitchen to make some cereals. "Hey there bacon sunshine~." "GAH!" I yelp as I turned around to see if anyone is behind me, but I didn't see no one here. "Okay, calm down Sunset, your just hallucinating that's all." Calming down and controlling my breathing, I continue walk and reach the kitchen fridge. Opening it up, I got the milk out and closed it before grabbing my cereal box. "Nothing like a good old treats to eat." I began to chew on my cereals using a spoon, but yet my mind kept thinking of the statue portal I appeared out of. Wow how times fly, at first on having to trouble to walk, all the way to the present of waiting for the Fall Formal soon. "I wonder if my foolish mentor even bother thinking about me? Nah, probably not." I shook my head and drink some more milk.
