It`s a beautiful day in Equestria the skies are clear the sun is shining and Fluttershy is ready to do her choirs. She takes a quick look at her calendar to see how many days are left until the day she turns 18. She was excited because she was finally ageing but sad because she has never told her friends her birthday afraid of what her mind thinks of it as "In the spotlight". She never liked being in the spotlight it always made her nervous. Soon after she checked she went down stairs "First things first." she thought to herself as she started fixing the days most important meal of the day up for her and her little rabbit Angel. "Angel, oh Angel bunny!" she called out to him waking him from his dream. "Oh Angel bunny your up!" she hugs him tight with a big smile on her face. It was only a matter of time before he remembered her birthday which was the only thing keeping him from struggling. She lets go to continue preparing his breakfast. Even with her birthday approaching being the sweet pony she is makes his breakfast first. Angel smiled because of the joy on his Fluttershy`s face. she gives him his food and makes her own humming a delightful tune the whole time "Iv never been so excited for my birthday even if its just you and I Angel." she tells him still smiling. She gets up cleans the plates and sets out too visit her friends. "Oh who should I see today?" she thinks out loud "Maybe my good friend Rainbow will be available?" She begins to walk looking around at the birds in the sky as she searches for her friend most likely doing tricks or moving clouds. She spots her and Rainbow Dash spots Fluttershy with a big smile on her face. She swoops down to greet her sun yellow friend. "Hey Shy what`s the smile for?" She asks. With her smile disappearing she replies "Oh um, nothing Rainbow." "Well whats up Shy?" Dash asks "Well Dash I was wondering If we could do something together today like go to the beach or maybe something you would like to do?" she agreed to go with her friend to the beach. "So Fluttershy what`s going on this week?" Rainbow Dash asks her friend. Fluttershy responds in a nervous tone "Oh um, nothing really rainbow I just woke up on the good side of the bed today." She says to her good friend.
