Twilight woke up the next morning with not a lot of energy then usual due to the fact that she couldn't stop thinking about that dream she had of losing Sunset. She stood still for a few minutes until she tilted her head and saw her clock saying it's 11:40AM. Twilight stood up instantly “Oh no no no no no, I overslept” She then went to check her phone and noticed a few miss calls and messages from Sunset.
“Hey Twi you Ready”, “Um Twi are you there”, “Hello” and 5 missed calls.
At that moment before she started to do anything, Twilight instantly called Sunset. Sadly for her, Sunset didn’t pick up. Which caused twilight to do the one thing that she has to do. She got ready and burst out the door but first locked it before she started to run. It took her less than 10 minutes to reach Sunset house. Thanks to Sunset's surprising gift which was the spare key to her house that she gifted to Twilight as a gift for her.
So Twilight took out the spare key and was about to unlock Sunset's door until she noticed that the door was being unlocked from the other side and to her surprise it was Sunset staring wide at her. With a surprised look on both of their faces.
“Hey Twi you're here already” Sunset said with a happy expression on her face. “ I was going to go check on you since you didn’t pick up or answer my calls and text before and I wanted to check if you're okay” Sunset said with a concerned look on her face.
Twilight just stood there stunned with a surprise look on her face of seeing Sunset standing in front of her. After a few seconds past Twilight snapped herself into the present and took a deep breath before speaking. “Hey Sunset, sorry to appear like this, I was worried when you didn’t pick up and then I started to think of theories of what happened and once I thought of those theories. I thought that you might….. have…..”
“Twilight remember to breath..!!!”
Twilight did as instructed and took a deep breath in and let it all out. “Thank you Sunny, you really do know how to make me calm down”.
“Your welcome Twi that's what friends are for”. Sunset let twilight in her house until Twilight was officially relaxed. After a few minutes had passed Twilight was officially relaxed.
“Sorry again for overreacting like that”
“Don’t mention it Twi as many times I have encountered that emotion, I figured out how to help someone out when that happens'. After a few minutes has passed Sunset decided to ask “Now can you explain what happened back there by the door, it sounded serious” Sunset said with a concerned look on her face.
“It was nothing, just a bit shocked since the time I woke up and it turned out to be late. So I panicked and rushed over here since I saw your messages and calls and didn’t pick up when I called, I thought you might have been mad”. Twilight said in one go
Sunset just sat there a bit surprised of what Twilight just done saying, it took a few to process which concluded her to start bursting into laughter ”Hahahaha”. Twilight just sat there with a confused expression when Sunset was done laughing she said “ First off Twilight why would you think of that and second that will never happen. Sure I’ll get mad at some point but never like this. I was a bit worried when I didn't answer your calls last night I sincerely apologize for it". "Lastly the reason why I didn't pick up was because I was in a rush to check up on you since you didn't pick up last night". "I to for one was worried at that moment”.
After that explanation, Twilight proceeded with a great big and strong hug, with tears of joy in her eyes. “Thank You Sunset”. Sunset returned the compliment with a hug. After a few minutes passed by, Sunset said
“ Now are you ready to have fun today”
“Sure do, are you ready”
“Ready as I’ll ever be”.
Twilight giggled and they both went to spend their weekend together.
(At the Fair)
Twilight and Sunset got off the bus and arrived to Equestria Land. Which became more popular than the last time they were there ever since the whole Vignette Valencia Situation that happened they haven’t spent a good time together since they were performing on opening day. This day was different though they were both heading to Equestria Land to have fun. No preparation, no Equestria Magic and nothing that will ruin there day.
“Wow I haven't been here in awhile ever since the whole Equestria Magic Situation”.
“Relax Sunset I promise that nothing bad will happen this time, just try to relax and have fun”
Twilight was right; they dealt with a lot of situations before its time for a break for once. Sunset and Twilight entered the Amusement Park after paying for their tickets, to go inside and have the best time of their lives.
After playing a few games of Balloon Burst, Water Gun Race and Skee Ball Race, Sunset won some prizes that she then gifted to Twilight. Twilight was blushing happily to know that her friend Sunset was so kind and generous with her. They were walking down the boardwalk when Sunset encountered the ring toss game that was still running by Flim and Flam. Twilight noticed and immediately stopped Sunset right on the spot.
“No Sunset” Twilight said with a worried look on her face
They continued walking until they made it to the dock. They both stared at the Sunset and then at each other.
“This was the best day ever Twi” Sunset said with a smile on her face.
“U really mean it” Twilight said with a concerned look on her face.
“Yes Twi I really did” Sunset ended it with a kiss that lasted 10 seconds. Twilight ended by blushing and burning up a bit. After a few seconds had passed, Sunset began to speak.
“Are you okay Twi” Sunset was starting to feel a bit worried.
(“She's going to leave you, she's just faking everything she says”). So in order to not get a lot of people's attention Sunset led Twilight to a bench near the shore.
A few moments later Twilight regained her train of thoughts and snapped into reality. Soon she realizes that she's sitting by the shore on a bench. When she felt someone wrap an arm around her neck and realized that it was Sunset. Sunset was staring at the Sunset when she noticed that Twilight just regained her train of thought.
“Hey… so you finally are awake, what happened back there you haven't talked in awhile”.
“How long was I out”.
”About 20 Minutes”.
"Wait, what oh no sorry to waste our time”.
“Hey don’t worry about it I had a great time”
(She’s just saying that to not get you upset you ruined it and she's gonna leave you because of it).
“Twi are you okay you're not being yourself lately”. Twilight didn’t say anything instead she just stared at the shore.
“It’s getting pretty late we should start heading back”. Sunset did as instructed; they took the next bus home; it was a silent ride home but Sunset kept Twilight in her arms during the whole ride back.
Once they got to Twilight house Sunset led twilight to her door.
“I’ll see you tomorrow then”.
“Yeah see ya tomorrow then”.
“You sure you're okay, you know you can tell me anything that’s bothering you and I can help”. Twilight opened her mouth for a sec but then closed it.
“No everything is okay probably just tired for the day. I’ll see you tomorrow Sunset”. Twilight ended with a hug and then Sunset went home while Twilight saw Sunset walking home.
"Sorry to have ruin this day Sunset" twilight said with a sad expression in her face.
