"Splendid!"
Somewhere in a forest at night, four mysterious figures are running non-stop to a certain important location they have found on an old map.
Eventually, they made it to a secluded area location and seeing the coast is clear.
"Is this the right place?" One of them asked.
"Yes, our intel says that the tomb shine is hidden behind this area." The other answered.
One of them searches around while the others keep an eye out for intruders or pursuers.
"The cloaking field spell should be near, I can feel it."
The figure concentrates on a sword, then unleashes a wave slash at the big boulder.
Upon hitting it, a spell on it shatters and the grass in the front disappears, showing the stairs.
"Hey guys, I found the stair leading to the entrance!"
"Alright, but we better make it quick before those scouting parties finds us."
So the four figures each head down to the secret path. Neither of them were aware that someone or something is watching them from far away. They kept walking down the steps and found a door way at the end. One of the figures opens up the door, revealing a torn up abandoned ritual room and a tomb coffin in the center.
"Guard the doorway entrance, make sure that it's blocked shut. We don't want anyone interfering."
"Right away."
Two of the figures closes the door tight while the other two begin to break the tomb's sealed spell.
Inside the sealed tomb, a mage figure is in a deep slumber, yet something is awakening in his head.
Memories of sorts he had lost long ago before sealed in this accursed tomb he couldn't break out.
A wise choice of these valuable items customer. Use them wisely and see ya in a new life."
"R-Run my lord, don't let t-these enemies capture you."
"I can't you leave you like this soldier."
"Why? Why did you abandon us all?!"
"Have at thee fiend! You'll pay for killing my own true home and my beloved woman!"
"WITNESS THE MIGHTY STRENGTH OF A GLORIOUS KINGDOM VILE WIZARD MONKEY!!!"
"You cannot undo what is already done."
"H-His army is too much! They taken down our monster beasts! Retreat!"
"Now then, surrender to your doom."
"FATHER NOOOOO-"
His memory thoughts were interrupted when he heard something outside the tomb. He couldn't even move or speak, but he felt his body is being pulled up and carried. There was some murmuring words from someone, but he can't hear on what who's saying as he had one last thought before going back to sleep.
"Am I. . . free?"
20 minutes later, the two figures broke the spell and opening the tomb then grab the sleeping mage.
"Mission accomplished, now we just need to bring him back to base."
"Here I thought it could get worse."
"Guys, weapons ready! I spot multiple undead soldiers heading our way!"
Their moment is ruined when the undead soldiers summoned from the enemies have walked down and heading to the door entrance. Many have pounded the door with weapons and bones while the two figures try their best to hold the door from letting them get in.
"We have to think of something guy! This door won't hold all day!"
"Dammit, we were so close! Without an expert mage with us, we're sitting ducks!"
"What are we going to do now?"
"If it's our last stand, then we'll make it the noblest one in history."
When there hope seem lost, they were suddenly shocked when the whole door entrance is blocked in frozen ice. They turn around to see a strange small dragon figure hovering above them, but looks like it got injured.
"W-Who are you? Are you with those vile enemies?"
"No time for a quick chit chat. I'm getting you all out of here."
The strange small dragon snapped it's claw fingers and they teleported out. A moment later, the ice door is blown away by a powerful flame spell as the undead solders walks in. The scout group also walks in to see the sealed tomb spell is broken and it's empty.
"Those vile traitors have escaped. We better go inform them of this unexpected news."
"Got it, I'm sure they won't be very happy about this."
Far off away, the four figures appeared and plopped onto the ground, except for one hovering over them.
"Oops, I might have made teensy slip up." The dragon giggled, holding the sleeping mage with a lion paw.
"Enough of this! I demand to know on who you are and why you even bother helping us escape!"
"Oh I'm hurt, after all the trouble of finding you four."
The little dragon looked at them glaring daggers while readying there weapons to draw out, but the dragon sighs and tosses the mage to the tall figure surprising them.
"Before I give you my name, I must know yours first since I help you escape from those infested undead."
The tall one thinks for a moment before handing the mage to one of his allies.
"Very well, I am known as Saizo. These three comrades of mine are my brother Kaze, Kagerou, and Nyx."
"Splendid!"
The strange little dragon floated down and with a snap from an eagle claw hand, out pops confetti strings flying out. A large poster flag also pops out to reveal fillies and colts as cheerleaders cheering for the best chaotic dragon who has won a big game, much to the four humans confused on what they just saw in front of them.
"I am Eris, a Draconequus. I'm also a spirit of chaos and disharmony." Eris politely greeted the group.
"Uh. . . nice to meet you, but why are you helping us Eris?" Kagerou said, scratching her head.
"Yeah and what's in it for you anyway?" Nyx says frowning, not trusting the strange draconequus.
Eris snaps her claw fingers as her props disappear and she deeply sighs.
"The circumstances have changed sadly for me. You see weeks ago, I've broken out of my stone imprisonment in order to cause some bits of chaos. Though what I didn't expect is when I felt something off with the new Element of Harmony bearers and there new mysterious allies. That's also when I was outnumbered and outmatched as they took most of my chaos magic away. Thankfully, I manage to get out of there on time using my clone double ganger and hide myself to rest. Until earlier, I have spotted you four running off somewhere important so here we are."
Kaze walks over to his brother Saizo and whispers to him.
"She seems to be telling the truth."
"Are you sure Kaze? She could be deceiving us."
"If she did, then we wouldn't be here alive in the first place. Why else would she be kind enough to help us escape? For now though, I think we should at least trust her and see if she has any intel on our enemies."
Saizo hums for a moment before looking at Eris.
"Alright, I can see why you saved us. We are really grateful of you."
"Your welcome."
Eris's eyes glance to Kagerou holding the mage, looks closer and realizes on who it is.
"I don't believe it. It's the legendary wicked sorcerer of Grima; Validar!" She gleefully exclaimed.
"You know this man?" Nyx asked her.
"But of course, he's the one who has saved my species long ago! Oh I have read articles and history, many have disliked and hated the famous sorcerer, but some of them including yours truly were amazed in awe of his greatest accomplishments throughout the years. I never even expect for him to be here among the living. I really thought that he died back then, but it turns out I was wrong all along and he's alive in the flesh."
The four were surprised to see Eris gawking at Validar.
"I guess you must be a big fan of Validar, right?" Kagerou says.
"Indeed I do, so is it alright if I tag along with you four? Please, I'll be on my best behavior."
Eris made another snap and a yellow halo appear above her head, then make a wide innocent smile.
The four looked at each other with Nyx shaking her head no repeatedly and for Kaze & Kagerou nodding their heads yes. When the decision is made, Saizou gently grabs Validar out of Kagerou's hands.
"Okay, but if you try to deceive us, I won't be so nice next time." Saizou warned her.
"Scouts honor on my life." Eris says, saluting to him.
"Riiiiiiiight, let's just get out of here and inform Ryoma of our situation."
The four humans including there new allied friend-ish Eris who's sitting on Validar's stomach, walks away back to base. Much to the discomfort for Nyx who's frowning while Kagerou and Kaze smile in warmth, knowing the trip back would be most interesting and finding a new ally helping out against the growing threat.
Back in the ally base, two figures are seen watching over areas for there allies to return.
"Nugh, it's so frustrating sometimes. I should've gone with them instead of being here all day."
"Calm down, I'm sure Saizou and the rest will make it back tomorrow or less than 12 hours."
"Yeah I know. I do wonder if they make it without any trouble following them?"
"Who know, hey why don't you get some rest? I'll stay here and take the shift until I go to bed."
"Probably a good idea, I better go get some sleep. Goodnight Crimson."
