It was near-midnight in Canterlot city, and the Sirens were not having a good time.

"That was barely worth the effort, Adagio. I'm tired of fast food. I need a meal." Aria Blaze sighed.

"The energy in this world isn't the same as in Equestria. We can only gain so much power here." stated Adagio.

"Ugh! I wish we'd never been banished to this awful place!"

"Really? I love it here!"

"For realsies? Because I think this place is the worst." said Sonata Dusk.

"I think you're the worst, Sonata."

"Oh, yeah? Well, I think you're—"

"Ergh!" Interrupted Adagio. "I'll tell you one thing, being stuck here with you two isn't making this world any more
bearable."

And that was when the rainbow laser shot up into the sky, the last rainbow anyone was going to see for a very long time.

"Did you feel that?! Do you know what that is?" gasped Adagio.

"I 'unno." Sonata Dusk and Aria Blaze said simultaneously.

"It's Equestrian magic!"

"But this world doesn't have Equestrian magic."

"It does now. And we're going to use it to make everyone in this pathetic little worl--"

And then the sky burned, and all fell to madness.
Immediately they could hear the screaming, the sounds of terror quickly spreading across the city, and the world, the skyline was on fire in seconds, and the everyone the Sirens could see was running as fast as possible away from the center point, the source of all this madness.

"Oh god whats happening?!" yelled Sonata over the screaming.
"I don't know, but we need to get out of here NOW!" said Adagio.
And the Sirens ran, and ran, until they could no longer run, and the burning kept following them.

They tried to run away, the fire followed them, they tried hiding in the ocean from which they came, and the oceans burned away.

they just kept running and running, never quite getting away, but not getting caught by the fire storm either, there was a time when they led an uprising, when that failed, they hid in the coldest cave they could find.

they kept running till the day time burned.
