It was another cold and winter day at Canterlot high school, and the girls were getting for the hoildays. Some students had plans to visit family, others had plans to do nothing. For the girls, they were sorta in the middle....
The halls were filled with lovely decorations to represent Hearth's warming (If they even called it that). And they students were talking to their friends, which brings us to Sunset and her friends.
"So Sunset, what are you planning to do for Hearth's warming?" Twilight asked.
"Well, I am planning to go back to Equestria to visit the other Twilight. It has been awhile since my last trip."
"That's nice! I'm planning to watch over the animals from the animal shelter. I don't want to let them be alone!" Fluttershy said in her normal shy voice.
"Please! I thought we were gonna have Hearth's warming together! Come on Fluttershy!" Rainbow dash said, scaring Fluttershy a little.
"Now come on Rainbow. Be reasonable. If she ain't wanna spend time with ya, accept it, and move along! Ya hear me? Or ya got cider in your ears?" Applejack said to Rainbow, which in all honesty kinda made her a little.... ticked.
Rarity on the other hand, was still lost in her own thoughts, trying to come up with a new dress for Hearth's warming..... again.
"Hey Rarity, you okay? You seem to be lost in your thoughts.... again. Don't tell me your-" Twilight was cut short by Rarity's words.
"Yes darling. These dresses have to be perfect for Hearth's warming! You can't expect me not to be lost in my thoughts!"
"Right. Sorry about that. Is that all your gonna do? I mean, don't you have other plans?" Twilight asked.
"No... not really. Sweetie belle is staying over at at Apple bloom's house with Scootaloo, so that's a good sign. What about you? Going to just spend the entire day reading?"
"Nope! I'm planning to read and spend some time with Spike! That's at least something!" Twilight said with loads of confidence. She was sure that would teach Rarity something!..... Or not.
After school, Rarity was walking home by her self, much eager to get home to get started on the dresses for her friends!
As she was walking past an alleyway, she heard a few noises. Ones that scared her a little. She heard the sound of chattering teeth, and breathing as well. So, she slowly walked over to the alleyway, proceeding with cation.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" Rarity asked.
"G-go away! No one's here! J-just your imagination! Shoo!" The person said. The voice sounded like a boy, so Rarity ruled Princess Twilight out. But who could this person be?
"Please! I'm only here to help!"
"NO! The only one who can help me is Azan! No one else!" Then, the stranger began to cry. Rarity had no idea why, but this random person was just crying and crying, and didn't seem like they were going to stop.
Then, the person came out from hiding, and Rarity wished that they didn't. This person was not from this world, but how did they end up here?
The person had ears looking like the girl's ponied up version, had two tails on his back, had hedgehog quills for hair and for his back. He also had a pointy nose as well.
"Just.... take me to your house please. I can't bare to stay out here longer."
Now Rarity was confused. This person is now asking to bring him to her house, and he hadn't even told her his name! What was going on?
Finally, Rarity decided to bring to person, mutant, to her house. Which in all honesty, wasn't that far from the alleyway.
"Alright..... let's go. I don't wanna see you like this darling." Rarity said.
"Hey... thanks for finding me in the alleyway. I've been stuck there for hours on end. My name is Surn. What's yours?"
"Name's Rarity, and your welcome. I am a bit surprised though. How did you end up here?" Rarity asked surn.
Surn frowned. "That.... is gonna be a very sad story, but do you have any spare clothes? Cause mine are wet."
Rarity slapped her forehead. This was gonna be a long day.....
