A pillar of light of light came from the planet on the sky right into Canterlot, specifically in the Royal Garden. There it was constructed an improvised observatory, lack any roof but it had telescope watching right at the planet, alongside a myriad of books and some beds. And at the center of all there was a platform, it was there where the light from the planet went. After the lights turned off there was Starlight standing alongside an unconscious Twilight, and a strange being.
Sunburst greeted ¨hey you are back, so fast? What it happen?¨ Sunburst did not take long before noticing that Twilight was unconscious and a strange creature stand aside Starlight.
Starlight and the strange being had an awkward smile and the creature spoke ¨yeah, we weren’t much time, but there is much to tell¨
After a clarification it was explained what it happened, shortly after they got to the new planet a estrange creature, which both Twilight and Starlight refereed as ¨human¨ attack them, he used a mysterious staff and with that the creature and Twilight switched bodies, the creature was unable to properly walk in Twilight body so Starlight could subdue him without much difficulty, she noticed how the creature tried to get back to his staff, maybe it was important.
¨do you still have the staff?¨ Starswirl was confused on both why the creature attack them without provocation and what kind of magic had that staff.
Twilight (in the body of the creature) had the staff in her back, she bring it to Starswirl, who examined
¨I can’t recognize anything from this staff, neither the design or the estrange magic that irradiates¨
Discord hovered over starwird and graved the staff, he had a smile he show his joy on holding that staff. Wherever magic had that staff discord could feel it… and enjoy it. ¨oh this is just precious, can I keep it?¨
Everypony put a serious look and said in unison ¨NO!¨
A dusgruntal Discord gave the staff to Twilight (who is still in the creature body) after that she yawn, stretch her arms and said ¨I don’t know why it attack us, but I feel extremely tired and sleepy, maybe the creatures from that world are also scared, and judging by how sleepy I feel in this body, probably this one wasn’t thinking straight¨
Starlight watched at Twilight (in the creature body) and noticed the eye bags ¨yes, I wonder how much time this guy was awake, maybe he is a courier and went over town to town giving the news about the situation¨
Rarity walked towards Twilight (do I need to say it again?) and inspected her clothes ¨I don’t think this human is a courier, it look like something Discord would wear¨
Discord grinned and said ¨of course, maybe one day you could make me clothes like that¨
¨sure, maybe one day. But seriously I may know next to nothing about humans but that set of clothes looks too regal, maybe could be nobility?¨ Rarity still inspected Twilight clothes, it was weird to see clothes like that, she touched the material trying to identify its materials.
Fluttershy flew over to Twilight and said ¨maybe after the human wakes up I could try to talk with him, maybe I can persuade him into revealing why he attacked you¨
Twilight stared the creature now inhabiting her body, it was still unconscious, not a threat now but she knows that in its current state it could be difficult to get answers from him ¨are you sure?, there is not guarantee that he doesn’t turn violent again. Not only because he attack me and Starlight just moments ago, but if he get scared he could turn violent, if he had no reason to attack us before he probably has now¨
Rainbow Dash got close to Fluttershy and said ¨well I trust that fluttershy could calm him, and if that doesn’t work I could try get answers the hard way¨
¨RAINBOW DASH, HE IS STILL IN ME BODY!!!¨ Twilight yelled at rainbow, Seen her body being blasted by starlight wasn’t fun, she understood why she did it but she isn’t too keen on watching another pony attacking her her again. also using violence could get things worse, which would lead to more violence or he trying to flee, certainly using force was a bad idea.
Rainbow Dash step back, a little intimidated by Twilight yelling at her. It was clear that what she said was a bad idea, it was not only that Twilight wasn’t in the mod for any joke… but the masculine voice now Twilight possessed along with its new height really made her more intimidating. ¨look I’m sorry, but maybe we should get him at the castle, if it turns violent instead of giving answers it could be easier to restrain him there¨ Said Rainbow.
Twilight yawn again and said ¨maybe, sorry for screaming at you Rainbow, i really need to get some sleep. I can barely sta-¨ before Twilight could finish her sentence she fell to the ground totally unconscious. Everycreature screamed in unison.
¨TWILIGHT!!!¨
Twilight woke up, she was having trouble standing up. ¨how long this guy was awake? he should have rested instead of walking around and attack us¨ she was picked up by Starlight magic.
¨maybe I could try to get you to bed you can rest, and then this human somewhere where we can watch over him¨ Starlight teleported with both Twilight and the human.
Starswirl decided to walk to the group and inform them of something ¨the machine is overheated and might take some hours before we can teleport somepony again¨
Sunburst added ¨maybe, but we saw how much magic consumed and how much was needed, maybe we could use this time to also modify it a little so it can be used more than twice a day¨ he was ready to try to upgrade the machine.
Starswirl grinned, planning and building the machine was a challenge, but upgrading it? It was be a challenge he could not refuse.
Sunburst and Starswirl were exited for ther duty, while the girls were worried, not only for what they could see at the sky, but also with Twilight situation. How they could get her back in her body?
¨Discord, do you think you could use your magic to get Twilight back at her body? ¨ Fluttershy asked, not knowing what he could answer.
¨well I decided to voice my appreciation at the staff… but you know something? The same magic that the staff irradiates can also be felt in Twili- I mean the creature in Twilight body. Sorry for not saying it sooner¨ Discord said, still fascinated with the magic from the other world.
Applejack got a little angry and told discord ¨and what the hay does that has to do with getting Twilight and that weird creature back in their bodies¨
¨I’m not stupid, the magic that the staff irradiates is one that I never felt before. But also one too similar to mine: unpredictable. I don’t know if any spell I use would work on them, or could backfire or something worse, it would be amusing to see what could happen but I don’t thing neither of you would be happy with the results¨
Sunburst backed Discord claim ¨he is right, foreign magic can be blocked. But canceling or casting a new spell on top of unknown magic is dangerous. That’s is why the better option is to get answers from him, that’s why neither Starlight or Starswirl tried to switch their bodies back with their own magic¨
Rarity then asked a question ¨then maybe we could help to make him talk? He might had been dangerous but Starlight told us that he was barely able to walk properly, so I don’t think he could hurt us¨
Sunburst put his hooves in his chin considering the offer¨well, maybe you five could go, once Starlight gets back you could ask her. We don’t have much options¨
all five of Twilight friends Smiled. Maybe they could help by talking with the creature.
No soon after a flash of light would appear, revealing Starlight, Twilight friends stood up in front of her. It was Fluttershy who said ¨we want to help, we could find a way to make him told us why he attacked Twilight and how we could reverse what he’s done¨
¨Good, he might wake at any moment so maybe you could try to calm him down, I doubt he wants to see me after our last encounter, but if things get bad just yell¨ Starlight then teleported the group.
They teleported at the royal palace, specifically in a small dungeon, the palace might be fancy everywhere but the dungeon was the big exemption, it look terrifying… but also it was any dungeon, and not even the royal palace dungeon was the exemption.
¨i know that in his current state isn’t dangerous, but if you need help don’t doubt to call for help, me and the rest of the guard can help you¨
