Pinkie Pie's eyes shot open with a smile from ear to ear. She hopped out of bed as she went to go to brush her teeth, Pinkie made her way downstairs with her normal skip in her step.
'' Hi Mr. and Mrs. Cake, have we gotten any costumers yet, are Pound and Pumpkin awake yet?''. Mrs. Cake looked at Pinkie with a small smile before responding.
'' Good morning, Pinkie, dear. about that first question, yes, Lyra and Bon Bon came by before you woke up. Also, yes, the twins are outside with their father, would you mind watching them Pinkie.'' The party pony nodded her head before skipping out the door.
''Pound, Pumpkin? you out here?''. Pinkie Pie was tackled by two little children, a baby unicorn and a baby Pegasus who giggled when the pink pony was startled enough to make her lose balance, resulting in her falling to the ground. Instead of getting upset with the foals, Pinkie Pie laughed with them.
''Good one, I'll tell ya, for little foals, you two sure are good pranksters''. Pinkie got up and started rummaging in her mane, she brought her hoof out, a ball on the surface of her pink hoof, her eyes sparkled as she said in a playful tone.
''How about a ball game, babies''. Pound and Pumpkin looked at each other with determination, with a nod, they looked at Pinkie Pie, who took that as a yes to a ball game. The pink earth pony bounced the ball really high, Pumpkin's horn glowed as she caught the ball with her magic, passing it to her brother, who flew up, catching it with a dive that would make Rainbow Dash proud. Pinkie jumped for the ball the next time the little unicorn tossed it into the air, right before Pinkie Pie could get the ball, a green glow enveloped it, the green magic took the ball and levitated it onto a white hoof.
Pinkie looked to the direction that the ball went in, only to see three fillies standing there. The unicorn had a guilty look on her face, she used her magic to put the ball back in Pinkie's hoof. The filly confessed.
'' Sorry I took your ball Pinkie, but Scootaloo dared me to take it, so ya''. Pinkie Pie gave a knowing smile before responding.
'' Its ok Sweetie Belle, I get it, Dashie always used to dare me to do all sorts of things, in fact, have you ever heard of the ''bad fashion'' incident from you sister?'' Sweetie looked worried as she said.
'' I have heard things, but I never got the whole story''. Pinkie looked up at the sky as if to make sure no pony was listening.
'' One day, Rainbow went crazy with dares, it got to the point where she was hurting ponies feelings, once, Dash dared me to go up to Rarity and insult her fashion, when I refused, Rainbow Dash wrote a letter to Rares pretending to be me. She said some bad things, your sister would not talk to me, so I told her what Rainbow did, she was mad but slowly got over it because we were friends''. Pinkie Pie finished the story with a small smile on her face. Sweetie Belle looked shocked.
Pinkie seemed to have wanted to change the subject, considering the question she asked next.
'' Well, any who, wanna taste test some new cupcake recipes I've been working on'' Sweetie Belle answered with a smile on her face.
''Sorry, Pinkie, but I got to get back to AB and Scoot, but l will see you around, bye!!''. Pinkie Pie looked on as the young filly trotted over to her friends. The pink pony looked down at the two young foals who were sitting there, waiting for their playmate, Pinkie was just about to join them when she was surrounded by a magenta glow, teleporting her.
When Pinkie reached her destination, she was in Twilight's Castle, within the first few seconds, she was whisked away by purple hooves only to be dropped on the floor. Pinkie looked up to see the sorry expression on the princess of friendship's face, the alicorn used her magic to lift Pinkie up so she was standing, before apologizing.
'' I'm sorry Pinkie, but Celestia sent me a letter saying there is an emergency so I teleported you all here, but where is every pony''? As if on cue, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity all came running through the door, Rainbow quickly spoke up.
'' Twilight! What's wrong, are you worrying again, another creature back for revenge, whatever it is will be sorry it ever messed with us!'' Twilight looked at Rainbow with worried eyes.
'' I don't know Dash, Celestia and Luna just said it was important''. Twilight said, seeing the looks on her friends faces, Pinkie Pie piped up.
'' I'm sure that whatever it is, we can do it!.
It turns out that Canterlot was just being attacked by a horde of giant Timberwolves. All the princesses needed the girls for were a few friendship lasers to dispel the wolves. Pinkie Pie had always loved all the love that goes into the rainbow lasers, it makes her feel all warm and fuzzy inside, it was even fun when Twi gave a sappy short friendship monologue.
When the girls got back to Ponyville, Pinkie threw a ''yay we got rid of the mean old Timberwolves'' party there was dancing, games like pin the tail on the pony and guessing. Pinkie even set up a photo booth at her party, it was awesome! Pinkie Pie walked up to Rarity, who was playing tic tac toe with Fluttershy. As the pink pony walked over to her friends, Rarity greeted her.
''Pinkie, darling, this is one of your greatest party's yet. Also did you know that Fluttershy is secretly amazing at tic tac toe". Rarity looked at her friend with a happy smile. Pinkie had one last plan for her party.
''Ok everypony, group photo and hug.. say ''cupcake''. The camera clicked, and everypony laughed.
