It shows three pegasi in flight suits and goggles, staring up at the sky with a smile. The stars shine bright above them, leading them on and guiding them forwards. Derpy sighs as she eyes it. She leans back in her chair and folds her hooves in annoyance, studying the poster closely. She doesn’t know what she’s looking for: after all, she’s stared at this poster every single day. It used to give her hope. Now it just mocks her. Fading. “Hey, you get in?” asked Berryshine from the doorway. Derpy scoffs. “No.” “What? Why?” “My eyes. They said it’s a liability. That it affects my coordination.” Derpy growls, glaring at the poster. “Stupid Wonderbolts.” Fading. “...oh,” Berryshine says awkwardly. Derpy scoffs. She rips the poster off her wall and throws it away. “Whatever.” Gone. Dreams don’t make a sound when they die.
