I was motivated to write this story as I listened to the song, "First Night Alone," by ThatSonofaMitch as I played a video game. For those of you that haven't heard the song and would like to see what inspired this story, then you can click the link in the small group that will appear at the end of this chapter.
As I listened to the song, I became curious as to whether or not someone else had the same idea as I, meaning to write a fanfiction based off of the song. So, I went on the kind Mr. Mitch's Tumblr page and asked him if anyone had, and, if not, I could be the one to do so. After several hours of waiting, he gave me the green light and I went ahead with it.
