Skylanders X MLP

Seaquestria

In the Canterlot Portal Chamber, Master Eon was looking over the Imaginators that the CMC had created. After Jack’s creation, plans for future Pilot-Class Imaginators were put on hold since that battle class was still in the prototype stages. Eon focused on Imaginator development, and recruitment efforts for future Skylanders. Some of the members of Canterlot’s Royal Court talk about cutting the development of Imaginators since they weren’t too happy with all the ‘frankensteins’ that are flushed from the tanks. But some of the court members knew that Imaginators were part of the Sensei Initiative and spoke out in defense of the project pointing out that Malefor is out there waging war on their home and they need the Sensei Initiative or else Equestria would fall. Eon sighed at the thought,

“Politics...how tiresome.” He soon turned his attention to the three imaginators created by the CMC.

Scootaloo’s Imaginator was Knight-Class, designed to be fast and rely heavily on speed. He was given flaming wings as he gave them a few test flaps. His torso had a furnace themed armor similar to Trail Blazer, but was more flexible like a jumpsuit. His arms and legs had red scales and the head was similar to a dragon’s head. He had armored pieces attached to his arms and legs, granting him both protection and speed. The Imaginator was given the power of the Fire element.

Sweetie Belle’s Imaginator was Brawler-Class as powered by the Magic Element. Her torso was feminine as her head was human with her pink hair partially covering her left eye. Her arms were human while her legs had violet jeans, she had heart themed armor pieces attached to her and her knuckle bracers had hearts. Her skin color was pink which fit her theme of being a brawler themed to love.

Applebloom’s Imaginator was a Ninja-Class with the power of the Life Element. Due to his battle class, he could only have a head, arms and legs, so he was equipped with a mushroom head with ninja arms and legs. His weapons were mushroom themed throwing stars attached to his belt. Eon asked them,

“Infernite, Lovestruck and Shroominja, how are you feeling since training?”

The fire knight spoke, “It was strange...learning the ways of the Knight class with Master Ambush. But I was able to see it through to the end.”

The magic brawler went next, “Master Crash was a unique character with his crazy melee attacks. I couldn’t understand what he was saying until Aku-Aku translated it for me. In the end, it made me a better fighter.”

The life ninja went last, “Master Bloom Boom helped me out in the art of stealth, deception and surprise attacks and I feel like I can take on anything.”

The alicorn smiled at their determination at taking on anything since it was the kind of attitude that was needed. Suddenly, the communication console near the Multiverse Portal activated as a hologram of Spy and EQG Spike appeared. The leader of the squadron asked,

“Master Eon, we need to talk to you about Camp Everfree.”

The alicorn recognized this since he heard that they were in Camp Everfree. He did send Sunset Shimmer to aid them in restoring the decaying camp and from their presence - he could only assume that they’ve finished. He looked at the holograms,

“Why yes, of course.” He turned to the imaginators, “You three can return to Ponyville.” The imaginators nodded and left, knowing that this was a private conversation. As soon as they were out of earshot, Eon asked,

“How was the camp?”

Spy stated, “It was a great camp, clear skies, blue lake, buildings and vehicles were restored to working order. But we encountered a Grublin raid on the camp, but this one came with a warning.”

He motioned to EQG Spike’s hologram as he nodded and tapped a button on his gauntlet as a female voice spoke,

“Strykore shall rise again!”

Eon felt surprised by this, since he knew that name from anywhere. A name that he hasn’t heard of in over 16 years. He asked,

“Are you sure?” EQG Spike said, “Our enemy, Gaea Everfree was a possessed version of Gloriosa Daisy, one of the directors of the camp. We fought her twice before Lemon Zest merged with the spirit of Trap Ranger Gaia, becoming Rose Star. When we surrounded the defeated Everfree, she stated that Strykore will rise again.”

Eon lowered his head, “This is truly troubling.” The two were confused as Spy asked, “Why?”

“Because I know of Strykore’s history and why his return was mentioned.”

EQG Spike stated, “Please, tell us what you know about him.”

Eon looked at the two and told them about Strykore, “During the war, Strykore was a member of the Disciples of Malefor, he was so strong in his magical abilities that he was granted the power of light syphoning to increase his own power, corrupting the victim in the process. He was known as the Light Eater from many cultists and soldiers that went up against him. But when he attempted to destroy the Dragon City of Warfang on his own terms, he never counted on me being there. So, along with a member of the Disciples, we were able to defeat Strykore and seal him away in the Book of Dark Magic before sending it into a different dimension.”

EQG Spike asked, “A member of Malefor’s cult helped you defeat Strykore?!” The alicorn sighed, “She did and she also understood that if Strykore were to have his way, no one, Alliance or Disciple would survive.”

Both of them knew how much of a danger that this new enemy posed if someone like him were to siphon the light out of a person’s magic core, there would be a dark reflection of themselves. After thinking about it, EQG Spike reached into his pocket and brought out a gem,

“There was a dryad living in the forest near the camp, named Lucy, she gave me this after the battle. It’s called a Mystic Shard, it showed me an image and flashback of a magic-user named Scorch Dragonfire. A voice told me that this was one of the seven and I need to find the rest since they hold the secrets to my past.”

Eon looked at the gem and knew that it was bound to happen. He explained, “The Mystic Shards are not only keys to the truth, but they are also powerful gems that can unlock the user's power. That gem could enhance your current abilities and unlock unlimited power.”

The hologram looked at the green glowing gem in his hand and stated, “Power that the cultists could use if they ever got their hands on it. In that case, finding the Mystic Shards before the Disciples are a top priority, but Dean Cadence gave us a week off to rest, recuperate...and catch up on our homework that the principals left us.”

Spy also added, "And about our newest recruit..."

Eon figured that he would give him a report on Jack's progress, "How has Jack Cooper been?"

"Jack is a fast runner, a quick thinker and a good shot when we tested him in the obstacle course. He's also a good fighter after he obtained something called a Keyblade during the fight. We also tested him in the Flight Simulator and with his skills, he could take a regular Cessna and modify it to fly like a fighter. It shows how capable he is as a Pilot Class Imaginator. As for being a human, Jack has been hanging out with Sunset Shimmer after the battle. Some of us are suspecting some kind of chemistry between the two."

Eon was impressed with the results of Jack's evaluation, "The fillies have put their heads together in creating him. As for his relationship with Sunset, there could be something she likes about him, but prying into other people's love life is not acceptable."

The two understood that friendships fall apart when people pry. EQG Spike looked around the chamber and asked, “Where’s my dragon counterpart?”

The portal master knew that he would ask about his counterpart’s whereabouts, “On his way to the underwater city of Seaquestria to negotiate an alliance with the hippogriff refugees. Malefor had taken Mount Aris and now most of the hippogriffs had fled to Seaquestria. Princess Silverstream arrived during the 2nd Battle of the Crystal Empire, looking for Spike because she needed his help. He and his apprentice, Starlight Glimmer, left for Seaquestria with Silverstream to guide them.”

Somewhere far from Equestria, Spike ‘the Dragon’ Solaris, Starlight Glimmer and Silverstream were walking along the path towards what would hopefully be Seaquestria. Spike could see the sad look in the hippogriff’s eyes as they continued down the path which told him that where they’re going was going to be bad, especially for their guide. Starlight noticed that familiar sense that her master does whenever he notices a slight change in their mood. So far they’ve only gone through many things like teaching, battles and exploring and now, a diplomatic mission to Seaquestria. They know that it’s underwater since Spike has the ability to breathe underwater, but this was a problem for Starlight, but Silverstream assured her that she has an extra pearl to turn her into a seapony when they get there.

As the trio climbed the hill, Spike noticed the air intensifying around them. It was like walking into an ambush which kept the dragon on his toes in case that broken horn unicorn or his robot duplicate showed up. Ever since the Crystal Empire, he's been cautious about the possibility of encountering a unicorn that was trained in dark magic and a robotic copy of himself, that copies data, shape shifts and is packed with deadly weapons. That wasn’t until they came to the top of the hill and saw with eyes open and shocked gasps, something horrible.

Mount Aris, the home of the hippogriffs was in ruins with grublin trolls patrolling all over the place. Grublin Wyverns were the only things that parolled the skies around the mountain. The once great home of the hippogriffs was transformed into a heavily armed fortress with a large citadel at the top and an active portal suspended above. Spike could only look at the sight and realize,

“Just like at Griffonstone and the Dragon Lands…”

Starlight gasped, “This is a nightmare.” Silverstream closed her eyes as tears formed, “I was here when those grublins attacked, it was all so sudden, none of our guards could respond and most of our forces were either injured or dead. My aunt had no choice but to order an evacuation, to give up Mount Aris much to the dismay of the defending forces. My cousin and I saw the evacuation, she was going to evacuate when I mentioned you and how you can help us. We haven’t had any contact with the outside world for years since most prefer to keep to themselves. But on that day, my cousin and I knew that we needed to go to Equestria to find you. But she was already rushed out by the guards, so I had to go alone, but seeing those things destroy everything that we once called home, it was not only sad, it made it my mission to find you.” She paused as she remembered, “But while I was giving this place one last look...that's when I saw him...the one you call Malefor emerge from the portal.”

She shuddered as she thought back to the attack and seeing Malefor himself, “When I saw him laying waste to the city, I felt an unbearable dread that it would be for nothing. But it wasn't until I saw his eyes...those horrible yellow eyes...It felt as if he was looking right at me and I felt fear as I continued to fly away.”

Starlight was sad at this, “That’s horrible...witnessing all of it, but you knew your faith in Master Spike is what drove you to find him.”

Spike assured the hippogriff, “Malefor feeds on the fears of others and is manipulative, he brings terror, chaos, conquest and destruction. He believes that the Purple Dragon’s role is to destroy the world in order to usher in a new one. But Spyro, the Purple Dragon before me didn't believe it and neither will I. The only things that he hates are those that stand against him and Hope. You came to find me because you had hope, never forget that, Silverstream.”

The hippogriff sighed, “I know...but there’s something else you need to know. The bracer that turned me into Coral Leviathan, I took it from the Temple of the Elder in Seaquestria before the attack.”

Spike asked, “Temple of the Elder?” “The sages of the temple speak of ancient dragons, that were full of wisdom and a sense of justice, they are called ‘Elders’ and they gifted the various races with special artifacts for the one that it chooses and placed them in temples built in the honor of the Elders. That’s what my cousin, Skystar and I heard from the sages, not a lot of races all over Equis even believe that the Elders exist.”

Starlight pointed out, “Most of the Alliance saw you transform into Coral Leviathan, so the Elders must exist if you had that.”

Silverstream remembered, “My brother, Terramar once said that most of the history of the other Temples of the Elder were lost to time. The one in Seaquestria is the only active temple and the sages guard it and the bracer...until I took it.”

While she spoke, Spike was looking at the citadel on top of the mountain. As he gazed at the peak of the fortress, he felt a familiar presence, one that he recognizes from anywhere as he states,

“He’s up there. Malefor is in that citadel, no doubt commanding his forces from there as he sits on the throne.”

The hippogriff felt angry, “That’s my aunt’s throne that he’s sitting in...if she saw the state of her home...it’s just terrible.”

“I know, just seeing our home like this...it’s a nightmare.” ,said an unfamiliar voice as the trio looked around for the source. That wasn’t until they brought their attention to a mare sitting in the water, looking out at the city. She had a light gambogeish gray coat with a light arctic blue mane, she had pinkish red wing-like fins and wore a pearl necklace. The trio’s approach alerted her as she turned to them and judging from the reactions of both Silverstream and the newcomer - they definitely know each other as the mare spoke,

“Silverstream, you came back!” The hippogriff stated, “I’m fine, Skystar. Everything has been crazy for me since I left during the attack, but I managed to find him...after helping him win the battle against a Grublin Horde at the Crystal Empire.”

Skystar noticed the dragon and the unicorn as she shot out of the water and pounced on top of the dragon, sea pony tail and all as she said,

“Oh my gosh, I can't believe it! Spike Solaris, the Hero of the Crystal Empire himself, here to save the hippogriffs!”

The purple dragon couldn't believe the speed of this mare since she jumped from the water and landed on top of him. He also noticed the fan girl look on her face, similar to the younger Crystal Ponies that were camping at his statue back in the Empire. He also remembered that these two were fans of his and it wasn't surprising that news of him spread this far. But as far as fans meeting their idols go, he asked,

“How did you know we were coming?” Skystar said, “I didn’t, I was collecting seashells while looking out at what was once my home until I heard you guys talking.”

Silverstream asked, “Also...about the bracer…”

“They know you took it and activated it.”

The hippogriff sighed, “Mom’s going to kill me, right?”

Skystar slightly chuckled, “Well...my Mom’s going to be angry when she finds out that you brought him to us.”

Spike realized what they were saying and stated, “You both went behind your parent’s backs, hearing stories of the Skylanders, including me. You figured that should the time come, you would need my help…”

Both cousins shamefully sighed as Starlight added, “Silverstream, you snuck into the Temple of the Elder, took the bracer and left before the attack.”

Skystar stated, “We had to do it...because not only did we need your help.” Silverstream stated, “Because the Elder spoke to me in a dream!”

This caught their attention as the purple dragon asked, “The Elder...spoke to you?”

“Yes, the Elder of Seaquestria approached me in my dream. He draped his coral wings around me and told me about ‘The First Descendant taking our home and the Elder’s Chosen seeking out the Crystal Savior.’ After that, he said that the bracer calls to me, even though I’d get in big trouble for stealing from the temple, I did what I had to do.”

Starlight asked, “The First Descendant?”
Spike guessed, “It's Malefor since he's the first purple dragon.”

Skystar asked, “Who is he descended from?”
Starlight, remembering her studies on dragon breeds. “It's not just Malefor, but all purple dragons like Spyro and Master Spike are descended from the Ancestral Dragons.”

Silverstream's eyes widened, “So that's what the Elder meant and the Crystal Savior was referring to Spike.”

After the chat, they got back to why they are here as Spike stated, “We need to get to Seaquestria and talk with the leaders. If we can get Seaquestria and the Hippogriff Refugees on our side, we can retake Mount Aris.”

Skystar stated, “Well, you're in luck. I just left Seaquestria to sightsee and gather seashells until you got here.”
Silverstream added, “Skystar and I know the path to the underwater city. Just stay close to us and don't fall behind.” She was about to step into the water until she realized, “Oh, I almost forgot…” She gave Starlight a pearl necklace, “Since Spike can breathe underwater, this pearl necklace can allow you to turn into a sea pony.”

Starlight nodded as the hippogriff continued into the water while tapping her necklace while Skystar leapt into the water. Spike and Starlight looked at each other as the master asked his apprentice,

“Are you ready for this?” Starlight replied, “The only way to go is underwater, Master Spike. Although I am curious about what we would find once we get to Seaquestria.”

“We just have to trust that those two vouch for us and the negotiations would be short.”

“I have my doubts, Master.” The dragon and unicorn stepped into the water as Silverstream, now a sea pony surfaced and said, “Okay, guys, just follow us!”

With that being said, the trio submerged.

After diving into the sea, Starlight’s pearl necklace shined bright as she turned into a sea pony. The unicorn looked over her new form as their guides gave her a crash course in swimming as a sea pony. After the brief course, the two cousins gestured for the two to follow them. Spike used his wings to maneuver through the water while Starlight followed behind. The path that the group took led deeper into the ocean, through an underwater cave system that was accessible via whirlpool on the surface near Mount Aris and through various crossroads underwater.

It took some time to swim through all of the twists and turns through the underwater crossroads. But the Master and Apprentice kept up with the two sea ponies as they approached their destination, a beautiful underwater city that the hippogriffs now use as a sanctuary after losing Mount Aris as Skystar and Silverstream turned to them and presented the city,

“Welcome to the underwater city of Seaquestria!”

Spike was surprised by this, “I’ve heard stories of sea ponies from the books at the Library, but I never thought that this place was real.”

Starlight was in awe, “It's beautiful...and to think that this has been well hidden from everyone else.”

“And judging from you two, only the hippogriffs knew of its existence.”

Skystar stated, “Well, considering that hippogriffs don't go into the outside world very often. Most of us just like a little peace and quiet or in my Mom’s case - a nice trip to her spa.”

The duo figured that from what Skystar described her mother - she’s somewhat strict, focuses more on a trip to the spa and how they were warned about her. It's likely that Skystar’s Mother doesn't take kindly to unwanted guests, especially from the surface. As for Silverstream, her theft of Elder’s Bracer would also raise questions about her motivation. Would her aunt believe that the Elder spoke to her niece or would she force her to bring it back to the temple?

But in the middle of their train of thought, Spike’s senses began to tingle as he spoke, “We're not alone.”

The others were confused by this until Skystar noticed a bolt of magic heading towards them. But before it could strike, they found themselves out of the bolt’s path with Spike glaring at whoever shot at them. Spike spoke,

“No use hiding, we know you're there.” The shooter revealed himself to be a sea pony as well, but he was scared and shaking all over. He was wearing a coral themed armor, most likely a Seaquestrian Scout. The scared sea pony looked at the dragon and then at the others, two of which he recognized,

“Skystar? Silverstream?”

Silverstream recognized that voice, “Wait a minute...is that you, Terramar.” The sea pony removed his helmet, revealing an apple greenish white coat with moderate cyan and pale turquoise coat with cyan eyes.

“You...you came back.” Silverstream approached her brother, “I had to and you also know why I left in the first place.”

He turned his attention to the purple dragon and realized, “Prince Spike, I’m sorry! I’m so sorry for shooting at you!”

Spike stated, “There's no need, I don't look anything like a grublin and I doubt those things could swim.”

Skystar asked, “But what I want to ask is why are you out here?” Terramar collected himself and stated, “Aunt Novo has been upset that you disappeared and Mom has been in the throne room looking at the family picture with tears in her eyes. But that was when the news of the Bracer’s activation arrived and suffice to say, both Mom and Aunt Novo knew that you're coming and you would bring the purple dragon as well.” He gestured to the glowing bracer on his right hoof, the one used in that strike, “I disguised myself as a guard scout to keep watch on the outskirts in case you came back. But in truth, I was actually contacted by the Sages…”

Starlight asked, “The guardians of the temple? Why did they contact you?”

“They told me that if and when you arrive, I have to bring you four to the temple because the High Sage wants to speak with you.”

Spike told him, “The Temple of the Elder could give us some insight on their history.” Terramar told them, “Follow me, I can get you to the temple without anyone noticing that you're here.” After that, they followed the seapony to a hidden entrance into the city itself.

Meanwhile at the Seaquestria Throne Room, Ocean Flow was pacing the room, thinking about the revelation of her daughter possessing the power of the Elder by activating the bracer, the outcome of her absence and the possibility of her return accompanied by the Purple Dragon. It was all so sudden when the sages spoke of the theft and activation of the coral bracer. But in some cases, it's hard for her since her children were of two worlds as she thought of her husband,

“Sky Beak was away when the attack began. No doubt he's been informed of Mount Aris being lost and Silverstream's escape to the outside world.”

She soon noticed Novo returning from her spa trip as she asked, “Novo, I’ve been thinking about what the sages told us.”

The former hippogriff queen asked, “About the bracer?”

“More about their stories and prophecies. They called the evil dragon, ‘Malefor, The First Descendant’ when they spoke of him. But when they spoke of Spike Solaris, they called him ‘The Crystal Savior’ due to his stand against Malefor at the Crystal Empire.”

Novo sighed, “I just lost my kingdom because of that dragon, Ocean Flow. But I can't risk any of my people to fight the dangers of the surface.”

The seapony asked, “So are you just going to hide? He will find us eventually unless we find a way to fight.”

Novo suspiciously asked, “What are you suggesting?” Ocean Flow stated, “My daughter left to get help and there's only one dragon with a united army to help us.”

Novo scoffed, “How are you so sure he will help? As far as I know, he could just be a thief to steal our pearl!”

“He's no thief, the pearl is not the reason he's coming, he wants to negotiate an alliance. I know from the stories that he puts his friends first and would you rather sit here and watch the world crumble around us?”

The Hippogriff Queen was really irritated by her sister's support for a dragon from the surface. But before they could argue any further, a seapony guard entered,

“Your highnesses, one of our patrols near the temple thought they spotted Princess Skystar, it looked like she was checking the perimeter.”

Novo was curious, “My daughter has been gone for hours, why is she at the temple?”

The guard shrugged, “I don't know, the sages don't allow guards to enter the temple since it's a sacred spot. But if I had to guess, it has something to do with Princess Silverstream's eventual return.”

Ocean Flow, surprised by the news, asked, “Is my daughter here?” The guard shook his head, “We didn't see her, the scout at the outskirts may have seen her, but he hasn't reported in.”

Novo sighed at this and said, “I guess a direct approach is necessary.”

For Spike, sneaking into the city wasn't easy since the locals will notice that he's a dragon. But apparently, Terramar, Skystar and Silverstream were able to guide Spike and Starlight through the isolated parts of the city and made it to the temple. While Skystar left to check the perimeter, Spike, Starlight and Silverstream were with the sages. One of the sages looked the three over and took notice of the coral bracer on the seapony. He smiled as he bowed his head,

“You have been given great power, Silverstream. An Elder’s power can be too much to bear unless the Elder’s spirit chooses its wielder.”

The sage turned to Spike and Starlight, “Spike Solaris, Son of Princess Celestia, The Dragon that stood against The First Descendant becoming the Crystal Savior and Starlight Glimmer, ex-nemesis, now apprentice to the Purple Dragon, a mare with a troubled past, now seeks redemption and wishes to learn.”

Spike was impressed, “You’ve seemed to have read up on our history.”

“Sages are taught to sense the aura of many magical beings. It was one of the many gifts from the Elders.” Said a voice as the sages parted while a more decorated older sage appeared.

Silverstream recognized him, “High Sage.” The old seapony looked her over, getting a sense of her aura. He stated,

“The Elder Bracer's power flows through you, young one. It makes you powerful to protect those you care about.”

Silverstream added, “Those powers were revealed to me the moment I raised the bracer and calling on the honor of Seaquestria, turning me into Coral Leviathan.”

The High Sage concluded, “Which is what the Elder bestowed upon its chosen wielder. The stories were indeed true, as the Elder blessed you with its power - the bracer rightfully belongs to you.”

The seapony turned hippogriff could only gaze at the bracer on her left hoof and then back at the sage, bowing her head saying, “I won't squander the Elder’s gift.”

“I know you won't, but now…” He looked at Spike, “There's a lot to discuss, Prince Spike. You need to negotiate with the Royal Family for aid in the war on the surface, but what I need to tell you is knowledge. A birthright passed down from the Elders to you.”

The dragon curiously asked, “What's the history of the Elders?”

The High Sage turned to the wall as coral near it began to glow, illuminating the wall to reveal the history of the Elders,

“In a time before time, a time where the rivalries between pony races rage, a time before Alicorn Sisters, seven great Dragons descended from the heavens to a land of bitterness, rivalries and war. The races of Equis were separate and without purpose, but these seven dragons taught the arts of wisdom, combat and unity, thus illuminating the many races with the three virtues - Unity, Duty, Destiny!”

Spike remembered, “Wait, I remember that phrase, when I helped an alternate version of me capture an evil clone of Celestia, we recited that same phrase!”

The sage went to the picture of the various races such Pony, Seapony, Yak, Griffin, Hippogriff, Dragon and Changeling among others bearing artifacts of the Great Dragons,

“We embraced these gifts as they bestowed their artifacts among their chosen students and in gratitude, we named these dragons, ‘Elders’ as displayed by their sense of guiding wisdom.”

The next drawing shows a sight that something that Spike was all too familiar with, the severn students and six mystical ponies, one was a familiar looking wizard, fighting the forces of darkness as the picture of a cackling dragon was shown with a pair of yellow eyes,

“But our happiness was not to last, for the first descendant of the Elders, Malefor, was sickened by this and attempted to strike our home. The Elders, their students and the Pillars of Equestria fought back, casting Malefor back to his world. But upon the defeat of the First Descendant, the Elders fell into a deep slumber within their own temples.”

The last picture shows the seven elders that represented each race of Equis and their artifacts,

“As the Elders sleep, a prophecy was foretold by the Pillars: In a time where great warriors rise, where the worlds are bridged and the threat of the First Descendant returns to Equis. Arise the Crystal Savior, Son of the Solar Princess, Descendant of the Elders to reform the Elders’ Chosen Students and become the Dragon King!”

Spike asked, “The Dragon Lands already have a Dragon Lord.” The High Sage shook his head, “You misunderstand, Spike. Before Malefor, the Elders formed a kingdom meant for unification for pony and dragon. The choice of who would rule came down to their descendants and how capable they are from the heart. Sadly as Malefor struck, most of the kingdom was destroyed before he was pushed back. But the statue of all seven Elders remains intact, it was used for crowning the King, but even that has been lost for millennia.”

Starlight realized, “A lost kingdom.”

Skystar entered, who was listening, “Something tells me that your journey got a lot more complicated.”

Silverstream nodded, “Now it makes sense that the Elder chose me, I'm one of the Elder’s Chosen.”

Spike thought about his previous encounter with two Ancestral Dragons when he and Starlight were still enemies. He remembered one crucial part,

"Does that history mention anything about stardust?"

The seapony stated, "As a matter of fact, stardust is a rare phenomenon on Equis. But the most unusual was that one of the Elders can generate stardust."

The purple dragon knew all too well who this was, "The Stardust Dragon." The sages were surprised as he continued, "During our fight through time when Starlight nearly had me beat, I slipped into a dream. During that dream, I was in a large cave with a large mound of stardust in the center of the room, that was when two large dragons emerged from it: The Stardust Dragon and the Blue Eyes Shining Dragon."

The dragon turned to the wall again and saw the two dragons from his dream as he said, "They have been watching me for a long time and they gave me a hint on where they are."

The High Sage nodded until he noticed something or someone behind them, “I believe you're going to have to wait, young ones. I believe that the negotiations will have to come first.”

That caught their attention as they turned around to see floating in the doorway of the temple was Queen Ocean Flow of Seaquestria and Queen Novo of Mount Aris.
