Reiner ran as fast as he could. He kept running for God knows how long, his legs we're getting tired, and he was loseing his breath. Evenutally he stopped next to a single tree and began to process what had just happened.
"Annie, Bertholdt"...... Marcel". Reiner remembered back to what Marcel did earlier.
He got eaten by a Titan, just to protect me. Here? Is this where I die? Did everyone get eaten because of me? What the hell happened? My mind is blank. What should I do"?
Reiner began to panic, thinking it was over for him, and he was about to die next, he could do nothing but scream in anquish until someone came up to him and kicked him in the stomach, causing Reiner to look up and see Annie standing over him, with Bertholdt a few feet behind her.
"Not bad, that's the first time you've ever beaten me in a foot race". Annie complemented before looking up.
"If we had stayed, we could have captured that Titan that ate Marcel, and we would have still had the Jaw Titan. But you two ran away like cowards, and I didn't know what to do either, so I followed after you. Goddamnit! He's not coming back now". She Continued
Reiner looked at her in confusion.
"But there weren't supposed to be any Titans yet. Magath said they'd be closer to the wall". Reiner stated.
"Not all of them". Bertholdt mentioned.
Reiner and Annie turned to face him as Bertholdt continued.
"It's not like every Titan is going to act exactly according to plan. Don't you remember learning that". He asked Reiner.
Annie sighed, turned around, and starting walking away.
"Enough. Let's go back. She told them", confusing Reiner.
"Huh"?. he asked, whiched caused Annie to slightly turn and look at him.
"We'll find the Jaw Titan, and go back home. The Titan that devoured Marcel has most likley turned back into a human by now, and is somewhere wondering on the island. Plus It's not like we can continue the mission to retake the Founding Titan without Marcel's leadership. Face it Reiner, the plan is a failure. Besides, this place isn't safe either, a Titan could show up at any moment".
With that, Annie began walking away, with Bertholdt following close behind her, leaving Reiner alone to process what Annie had just said. All of a sudden, his mind flashed back to what his mother had said before they left
"I know you'll be able to complete your mission. And I'm sure your father is praying for your sucess too".
Remembering the promise he made to his mother Reiner called out to his friends.
"Wait"!
Annie and Bertholdt turned around to look at him.
"No. We can't go back. We'll contiune the plan". Reiner told them.
Berthlodt and Annie paused for a moment, before the girl spoke up.
"True. You can't go back like this". she stated, confusing Reiner.
"If you go back to Marley now, they'll strip you of the Armored Titan for this disgrace. The next warrior will eat you. Not that it makes any differance to me". Annie told Reiner, who just stared at her before countering.
"And are you sure that only I'll lose my Titan"? he asked.
"Hm"? asked Annie.
Are they only going to hold me responsible for the three of us running away? Are you two compltely certain that you'll escape punishment"? He asked.
Annie and Bertholdt just stared at Reiner as he continued.
"Besides going after the Jaw Titan is a bad idea. What if the person who obtained the power uses it to escape from us"?
"How could someone learn to use a Titan's power that fast". asked Bertholdt.
"Are you serious?! Bertholdt, you mastered how to use the Colossal Titan in no time! Anyway if screw up chasing after the Jaw Titan and use up our Titan powers here, well just end up getting eaten! And if we show up at the boat with nothing but this fiasco, we'll be done for anway"! Reiner explained
When niether of his friends responed, Reiner continued.
"If we ever want to go back to our hometown, we need results. We need the Founding Titan. We can't go back without it".
After a few moments, Annie finally spoke.
"You know, if you had been a hundredth that composed a minute a go, we wouldn't have lost the Jaw Titan or Marcel. So you plan to put us in danger, just to save your own skin"?
"I don't know, I just". Reiner began before Annie kicked him in the face super hard, shocking Bertholdt.
"Annie"?! he yelled out in shock as the girl began to rant while kicking Reiner to the ground.
"Then you explain the Magath! SAY IT WAS ALL MY FAULT! Honorary Marleyan! Chosen Warrior! Who gives a damn! Marley, Eldia, they can all go to hell! They're all liars! Every single one of them! They only ever think about themselves! And you know what? I'm the same. I need to get home alive! You were supossed to die a minute ago right? Well if you're feeling so ashamed about it, then die right now! TAKE THE BLAME AND DIE"! Annie screamed as she kicked Reiner until his face was battered and bloddy. Bertholdt all the while just stood there silently, tears streaming down his face as he had watched his friends fight.
Once she was done beating Reiner, Annie turned and began to walk away, only for Reiner to stand up, and lunge at her, bringing Annie to the ground and putting her in a chokehold.
"Reiner's Dead. If you need Marcel........ Then I'll become Marcel". Reiner stated as Bertholdt just watched on.
"Please. Just stop". He begged the two of them, as Reiner continued.
"This, is the only way we can go home".
Reiner.... We get it already". Bertholdt said.
"Let's all get back to our hometown". Reiner finished as he got off of Annie who slowly stood up.
"So, are we going to complete our mission"? he asked her.
Annie simply nodded her head.
"Stand back". she told them.
Reiner and Bertholdt did as she ordered. After moving back Annie bit onto her finger and transformed into the Female Titan.

Once in her Titan form, Annie grabbed Reiner and Bertholdt, and proceeded to place them on her shoulders. She then began running, letting out an extremeley loud scream in the process. That scream had manged to grab the attention of hundreds of pure Titans who began to pursue the Female Titan who kept running. Annie kept running for god knows how long, and it was begining to have a toll on her.
"Reiner! She's running out of stamina"! Bertholdt stated.
"I know"! Reiner replied as he looked back and saw the Titans getting closer.
Damnit they're about to catch up. Are we still not to the Wall yet? The plan was for the Female Titan, and Jaw Titan to switch out durning the transport, but with Marcel gone Annie's doing it all on her own. She must have hit her breaking point a while ago, but the plan can't succeed if we wear down the Armored Titan".
Reiner began to ponder what they should do, when Bertholdt noticed something in the distance.
"I see It! The Wall"! he pointed ahead of them.
Sure enough, there in the distance was Wall Maria.
"Annie let's switch out now"! Reiner told her. So Annie left her titan form, and Reiner transformed into the Armored Titan and ran the rest of the way to the wall. Once there, he placed Bertholdt down infront of the closed gate.
There are more Titans then we expected. We've got to hurry. We're counting on you Bertholdt". Reiner thought
He then took Annie, and moved far away from the area.
Bertholdt in the meantime stared up in wonder at the height of the wall, and began to ponder his next move.
"So this is Wall Maria. It's huge, and we have to destroy it. Will I really be able to do it"? he wondered.
Reiner meanwhile began to go through the plan in his head.
Well destroy Wall Maria, and then make use of the chaos caused by the invading Titans to slip in with the population. After that, will track down the movements of Fritz. The king of the walls..... Then figure out a way to get the Founding Titan. It's all riding on wheather or not we can destroy the wall.
While Reiner was in his thoughts. Bertholdt had transformed into his Titan.
"We're counting on you Bertholdt".
(Counterattack Mankind part 2 Plays)
The Colossal Titan slowly rose up, and peered over the Wall, looking down into the town, and noticing tons of people staring up at him. Including three young children, who seemed a little younger then Him, Annie, and Reiner. The Colossal Titan then brought his massive leg back, and kicked a massive whole into the wall, sucessfully breaching it as Reiner looked on from his Titan.
He did it. Bertholdt

All of a sudden, the Titans that had been chasing them caught up and grabbed the Armored Titan, and tried to go for Annie as well. Reiner manged to break lose before noticing that one was heading for the downed Colossal Titan.
Oh no! A Titan's heading for Bertholdt!
Reiner ran towards Bertholdt, who turned around and noticed the Titan near walking towards him. However, the Titan ignored Bertholdt and walked into the hole he made just as Reiner grabbed Bertholdt and climbed to the top of the Wall, and placed Bertholdt and an unconscious Annie down on it as he began to remember why he became a warrior.
"I wanted to become a warrior, because I thought it would grant my mother's wish to live with my father".
Reiner began to climb down the wall and into the town.
"But... I never had a father who felt the same way. My mother was always dreaming of something that would never come true".
Reiner made his way through the town. Watching as countless civilians got eaten by Titans. Eventaully, he made his way to the inner gate, and began to charge towards it.
"I was never supposed to become a warrior, and I wasn't supposed to surivive past today".
Reiner then remembered how Marcel apologized to him.
"Please forgive me Reiner"
"Why did he apolgize? Why would he save someone like me"?
Reiner pondered this for a moment before deciding it didn't matter.
"No. I don't this to end here. I haven't changed anything yet".
The Armored Titan bursted through the inner gate, destroying it, and making it possible for the Titans to invade Wall Maria. Afterwards, Reiner went back into the town and fetched Bertholdt and Annie, who was still unconscious, and they made their way into the next wall, with the other refugees.
Currently Publicly Available Information About the Walls. Humanity lives surrounded by three walls. The outermost wall is Wall Maria, the second is Wall Rose, and the centermost wall is Wall Sina.
The Walls are separated from one another in roughly equal intervals. There is a distance of about 100 kilometers between Maria and Rose, and there are about 130 kilometers between Rose and Sina. From Sina, it's about another 250 kilometers to the center of the interior.
Annie awoke to find herself laying on a blanket in what looked like some kind of shelter. She turned to see Reiner and Bertholdt next to her.
"Where are we"? she asked.
"Inside Wall Rose". Bertholdt replied before looking down in shame.
"Annie, Bertholdt, I'm sorry" he apologized. He then remembered his late friend as he pulled to two of them into an embrace.
"Marcel. I promise to become a true warrior".
Sometime Later, Reiner, Annie, and Bertholdt found themselves talking to a man who was the sole survivor of the Titan attack on his town.
"My village was located in the mountains southeast of Wall Maria. Unlike the thriving riverside towns, we didn't recive word about the breach until later. Infact, the Titans got to us first. It was around dawn. The livestock were getting extremley restless. I heard these strange rumbling sounds getting closer and closer. That was when I realized they we're the sounds of footsteps. So I went and opened my window".
A flashback shows the man looking out his window, and a Titan pearing inside.
"I don't really remember what happened afterwards, but somehow I manged to escape on my horse. Leaving three kids behind, who we're just about your age". the man finished.
A few days later, the man was found dead. Hanging from a tree as other people looked at his corpse.
"Wasn't he the only survivor from that villiage"? someone asked.
"What village"? asked another person.
"Oh I forgot the name of it. That tiny setllement right? The one that's not even on the maps"? the first person replied.
"We should cut him down". Someone else stated.
Two Years Later, Reiner, Annie, and Bertholdt found themselves working in a garden, and had just figured out a massive secret about the king.
"Oh, so the king is just a figurehead"? asked Annie.
"Not only the old man, it's apparently an entirely different family. They're all puppets without any shred of authority. But they're probably not Subjects of Ymir. The people ruling from the center of the walls are most likley a diffrent race of Eldians who sucked up to Fritz a hundred years ago. Because there was no need for the Power of the Founding Titan, So he gave them power in exchange for their silence and loyalty"? Reiner Question.
"Then we just need to get inside that family. They must have a connection to the true king of the walls". Bertholdt stated.
"How do we do that? get them to hire us as servants or something? Or do you want me to get close to one of the men in the family and marry into it"? asked Annie.
"No you can't do that". Bertholdt exclaimed.
"You're right I can't. They're able to stay in a seat of power because they're not subjects of Ymir. they'd never risk infecting their family tree with tainted blood. And ever since the Wall was breched, they haven't hired new servants out of concern about invaders. Plus. I don't have the kind of charm it takes to seduce a man". Annie stated.
"That's not true"! Bertholdt yelled, confusing Annie.
"Um..... Thanks"?
Reiner, having heard enough then spoke up.
"That means. We only have one option. Become soldiers and get close to the inteior military police".
Annie, and Bertholdt looked at Reiner for a bit.
"I know you don't want to hear this from me. But it's taken us two years to learn this much". Annie stated.
"And we've spent that time uprooting trees. You're the only one who's able to enter and exit the royal captial". Reiner replied.
"We only have ten years left. You're saying you want us to spend those ten years playing soldier"? asked Annie
It's been two years since the wall was breached, but the king of the walls never made a move. If the Tybur family's imformation is correct, then the king is bound by some kind of vow to renounce war". Reiner pointed out.
"If that's the case then we should just stop wasting time and put an end to this". Annie said
"Oh, so you want to destroy Wall Rose, and Wall Sina too"? asked Reiner.
Annie and Bertholdt looked at him in shock as he continued.
"Yes doing that might cause the Founding Titan to show themselves, but you realize that no matter how defeated they may be, one scream from them can turn everything around right? And then we precious warriors will die with the rest of the world, our mission is incomplete. The fate of humanity is riding on us". Reiner stated as he had a vision of the countless Colossus Titans inside the walls being awoken and destroying their hometown.
"So we can only march slowly forward. I've started to realize it finally. That is what we're here for". Reiner concluded.
Later, Reiner found himself in the 104th cadet corps being interrogated by the instructor.
"TELL ME WHY YOU CAME HERE"! The instructor demaneded.
"I came to save humanity"! Reiner told him firmly.
He then had a flash of memmories flooding to him.
Training with the cadet corps.
Meeting Eren Yeager, and Armin Arlert.
The Battle of Trost.
Discovering that Eren was a Titan.
Killing Marco.
Joining the Survey Corps.
Fighting the Female Titan with Jean, and Armin.
Revealing his, and Berthodlt's identittes to Eren.
Escaping to Wall Maria.
Getting sucked into the vortex.
Meeting Fluttershy.
Rarity.
Sweetie Belle.
Apple Bloom.
Applejack.
Rainbow Dash.
Pinkie Pie.
And Twilight Sparkle.
"I'm a chosen warrior. Entrusted with the Armored Titan. I'm gonna punish the island devils, and become the hero who saves everyone".

The time to clean up winter, and get ready for spring has arrived, however Twilight can't seem to find any activty to help out with, and with Ponyville's track record of always being late for spring, things don't look good.
