//------------------------------// // 258. Wanna Grab Lunch? // Story: Azure Edge // by Leaf Blade //------------------------------// Trixie wanted cock. She wanted a lot of things actually, but cock was at the top of the list. She missed being back home, where there were a lot more girls who were easier to get into bed with than here in Equestria. Like sure, it wouldn’t be the hardest thing in the world to get herself into a pony’s bed, but it was avoiding a hate crime after the fact that’d be the real challenge, and she wasn’t quite up for it. Anyway. Cock. If she were being entirely honest, which Trixie loathed to do, the truth was she didn’t want specifically cock so much as she wanted a distraction from the depression brain demons that were in eating a hole inside her brain. Cock was just a really good distraction for a lot of reasons. She wondered if maybe Twilight Sparkle— and then she crushed that train of thought before it got fully started cuz no freaking way. Speaking of Twilight Sparkle though, as Trixie listlessly wandered through the streets of the Crystal Empire stuck in her dumbass pony form, she figured it’d be a good idea to get ahold of her. She sure left in a hurry the second that Shining Armor showed up, and as much as Trixie hated to admit it— and she did, in fact, hate to admit it— she wanted to know that Twilight was holding up alright. Finding Twilight was no thing thanks to Trixie’s great and powerful divination magic, and lucky for good ol’ Trixie, Twilight was hanging out at the train station so that meant it was real dragon form hours yet again! Gawd, the amount of relief and joy Trixie felt at shedding her pony form was unbelievable. How did ponies live without toes? Or being huge and having cool claws and fangs and wings and scales and UGH! There was SO MUCH about being a dragon that ruled. Felt good to be back, even if she was only in her pony disguise for like fifteen minutes. “Hey,” Trixie said casually as she sat next to Twilight on the station platform. How was Twilight so huge? What a freak. “Hi,” Twilight said somberly. “Sorry.” “Don’t worry about it,” Trixie shrugged. “Sure, dealing with that guy was annoying, but I kinda respect the balls it takes to just bounce like you did. Self-care, baby.” “Hehe,” Twilight chuckled and rolled her eyes, “I guess.” “You wanna grab some cock?” “What?” “I mean lunch.” It was worth a shot. “Yeah,” Twilight nodded. “Lunch would be good. I’d like that.” “You wanna hang out with your dumb friends?” Trixie asked. “Or just you and me?” “Do you want to hang out with my amazing friends?” Twilight responded with a cheeky smile. “Eh,” Trixie just shrugged. “I could care less.” “Well if you don’t mind,” Twilight said, “then yeah, seeing my friends would be nice.” “Alright, lemme just find ‘em real quick,” Trixie rolled her shoulders and stretched out her arms and legs. It was important to do warmups before practicing magic, especially cuz this was gonna be a little complicated. Finding Twilight was no big thing cuz Trixie already knew Twilight’s signature, she just had to hone in on it and find it. For finding all of Twilight’s dumb friends, what Trixie would have to do instead was like comb the whole Empire until she found people who were familiar enough that Trixie could be like ‘oh yeah it’s these guys’. Annoying. But oh well, she said she’d do it. Trixie did her channeling magic energy bullshit and fired up her divination spell, like she does. She started going through the city trying to find some folks, and it was funny how easy it was to spot the difference between dragons and ponies, but cuz ponies had given up on real magic eons ago, they had no shot of making that connection. Hoisted by their own petard as it were. What’s a petard? Trixie had only ever heard it in the context of that sentence. Whatever, not important. Trixie found a couple of Twilight’s pony friends pretty easily, and Maud too. Trixie couldn’t help smiling as she hovered over Maud’s signature; she was glad that particular pony was still in the city. Trixie wanted to hang with her at least one more time before she left. Anybutt, doot-doodoo-doodoo, going through signatures. Let’s see, finding Twilight’s dragon friend uhhhh well there was a dragon, but that wasn’t anything strange. Ah, and another dragon. And another, and another, but not the one Trixie was looking for. And another, geez how many dragons were in like this one spot? It was starting to get distracting. Every time Trixie would try to move away, she’d get distracted by this weird cluster of dragon signatures. Well, now she was curious, so she had to poke around a little. Damn, there were so many of them, all gathered in one spot. Some kind of sweet rebel gathering maybe? Trixie wanted in on that. “You okay, Trix?” Twilight’s dumb words coming out of her ugly face distracted Trixie from her concentration. “Magic takes time,” Trixie harrumphed. “And I got distracted. There’s like a whole bunch of dragons all gathered in one spot, and I got curious.” “I’m curious too,” Twilight said, and something in the tone of her voice struck Trixie as pretty ominous, but Twilight was a weirdo so she just let it pass. “Do you mind if we put our heads together and take a look?” “What, you mean combine magic?” Trixie scoffed. “What, you don’t think I’m good enough?” “I just want to see with my own eyes, if I can.” “Are we gonna have to kiss?” Trixie said smarmily, limply batting her hand. She meant it as a joke but after she said it she was like ‘haha just kidding… unless?’ “We don’t have to,” Twilight said sheepishly, “if you don’t want to. It’s just the easiest way to share magi—” “Alright, you don’t have to give me the hard sell,” Trixie groaned and rolled her eyes. “If you’re that desperate to kiss me, I guess I can humor you a little bit, okay?” “Okay,” Twilight giggled, and Trixie didn’t think she was cute at all. Trixie flew up to Twilight’s big dumb snout and Twilight smiled like a, like a, like a, like a big, like a big, a big DORK. SHE WAS A BIG CHUMP AND TRIXIE DIDN’T THINK SHE LOOKED CUTE. Twilight’s dumb snout was bigger than Trixie’s whole entire head, so Trixie just gave her a little peck on the lips, with Twilight returning the favor with a soft, tender kiss that sent a shockwave through Trixie’s whole body. She kinda maybe forgot that she hadn't ever kissed anyone else before this. She didn’t know what she was expecting, but the butterflies in her stomach and the stars in her eyes were a surprise to her. Trixie hit the ground on her rump, her body buzzing with Twilight’s magic. “Wow,” Twilight cooed, and Trixie’s ears folded back as she waited for the insult, “you’re so small. It’s really impressive how you can pull off such intricate magic.” “Thanks,” Trixie groaned in disgust. “That was the most backhanded compliment I’ve ever heard, but thanks I guess.” “Sorry,” Twilight said bashfully, covering her snout with her claw. “Are you ready to do this?” “You don’t gotta ask me,” Trixie scoffed and got ready to magic. Trixie’s resentment aside, it didn’t escape her notice that her own magical power was completely dwarfed by Twilight now that they were sharing a pool together. Trixie sighed and grumbled and went about her spell regardless, Twilight focusing on connecting the two and increasing their clarity. It was wild; where before Trixie could just see a skeleton of the city, now she could see the real deal if perfect detail. Well, not perfect detail; things were still kinda fuzzy, but she could focus on the details if she wanted to. She didn’t wanna accidentally magic herself into some rando’s bathroom or anything like that. So, now onto the main event. Trixie and Twilight combined their focus and went toward the collection of dragons. Trixie hadn't realized until fusing with Twilight that the dragons’ signatures were all underground, under the mountains behind the Empire to be specific. And when they got a little closer, they realized why; it was a prison. Rows and rows of cages with dragons in various states of dismemberment were plain to see, and the first thing Trixie felt was panic, though she couldn’t tell if it was her own or Twilight Sparkle’s. Maybe it was both; honestly, Trixie kinda hoped it was. There was a woman stalking the prison, pacing back and forth unfettered. She was in the form of a pony but she too was a dragon; purple coat and purple hair, tied into twin tails and with blazing teal highlights. She held out her hand as a handful of dragons in their cells wailed in anguish in front of her, and Trixie and Twilight watched as the woman extracted magic from these tortured cries, almost as if she was turning the sound itself into an ashy black mist. The mist swirled around in the woman’s hand until it solidified in the form of three pitch black thorns. Trixie and Twilight both recognized them. Suddenly Trixie snapped back to the train station, Twilight shutting off the spell in a panic. Trixie didn’t blame her. “Well,” Trixie let out a bitter chuckle, “that’s ominous.”
