Lightning clashed as Applejack and her friends entered the battlefield, and at the end of it, they saw what appeared to be a base that resembled a spider crab, and on top of it was another shark Rabbid.
This was Finn, and he had a very similar appearance to Side Eye, except he wore a great white shark skin instead of a hammerhead's that also had a broken hook in its mouth, had seaweed, starfish, and a number of other marine things stuck to his body, and a fishing line wrapped around him which also made up a necklace that had the second key. And unlike his brother, this guy had no table manners as he was gorging away ferociously on a large pile of Bad Apples instead of using silverware. After take a huge bite, he lifted his head up, but that's when his shark's eye looked back and saw the heroes. Finn slowly turned and looked directly at the heroes, also revealing that he was missing his right eye. He bit the Bad Apple that was still in his mouth and jumped into the air, diving straight into the sand. The good news was that his dorsal fin showed exactly where he was, the bad news was that he was swimming directly towards the heroes! The team barely avoided Finn as he jumped out of the sand and tried to hit them with his main weapon, the Octo Hammer, which was exactly how it sounded as it was hammer that had a live octopus sitting on top.
"Whoa! This guy is tough!" Applejack shouted as Finn made his way back to the opposite side of the battlefield.
"Looks like that great white might've gone to his head." Beep-0 explained to the group. "We must be careful if we're going to get that key."
"Bwa-Bwaah!" Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny cheered as they took their positions an the battlefield.
"Remember you two, he isn't like Side Eye. I have a feeling he won't run away after getting hit." Applejack told the Rabbids as she joined them.
Defeat Midboss - Finn, 2 Bucklers, 1 Ziggy, 1 Hopper
Rabbid Granny dashed a Buckler before entering a pipe on the left side of the battlefield, then she entered a pipe in the middle and stopped near a partial cover on the right side. She launched a Barrel Bolt straight at Finn, which triggered a Vamp Effect, which will heal the attacker by a percentage of the damage dealt on the enemy.
Just as Applejack thought, instead of running away, Finn charged towards Rabbid Granny, but like a Smasher, he stopped moments before reaching her.
Rabbid Rarity dashed the same Buckler before entering a pipe on the right side of the battlefield to join Rabbid Granny, where she then dashed Finn and stopped at the side of the area. She blasted Finn, who charged towards her before stopping, and activated her Shield.
Applejack jumped across an orange arrow and bucked the Buckler towards a Bounce cover, which exploded and sent him flying out of the battlefield, defeating him. Since she wasn't in range to attack any enemies, she activated her Hero Sight.
Finn spun his hammer around and hit Rabbid Rarity, but her Shield reduced some of the damage. He then dove into the sand and swam towards Applejack until he was right next to her, where he activated his Villain Sight.
The Hopper activated his Super Shield and ran to a nearby partial cover, where he then blasted Applejack.
The Ziggy blasted Applejack and made a break for a nearby partial cover, while getting hit by Applejack's Hero Sight in the process. He then activated his Villain Sight.
The remaining Buckler blasted Rabbid Granny, then moved to a different side of the full cover he was already hiding behind.
Applejack used her Buck Slam, which triggered a Bounce Effect that sent Finn flying and off the edge of the battlefield. While getting hit by the Ziggy's Villain Sight (she avoided Finn's because he only had a close range weapon), she entered a pipe to join the others and had Rabbid Granny hop onto her back, where she then entered 3 pipes until she ended up back to where she started. She bucked Rabbid Granny over Finn and she Freeze Blasted him, blocking him from using any techniques and canceling his Villain Sight.
Rabbid Granny dashed Finn, then got a Team Jump from Applejack, where she then Freeze Blasted Finn again.
Rabbid Rarity entered pipe and joined her friends, where she then dashed Finn and stood next to the pipe in the middle of the battlefield. She activated her Heal and healed herself and her teammates.
Rabbid Granny then activated her Stink Eye.
Applejack took out her banjo and activated her Magnet Groove, drawing Finn towards her, where he got hit with Rabbid Granny's Stink Eye, which also triggered an Ink Effect, but Rabbid Rarity ended up getting hit by too because she was in the splash zone with Finn, who quickly retaliated and charged at Rabbid Granny, sending her flying with a Bounce Effect.
Rabbid Granny blasted Finn which sent him flying back, releasing the SupaMerge energy and ending the battle.
Finn was revealed to be the second Flat Cap Rabbid, and he was fused with a rubber shark toy. He face-planted into the ground and the shark bounced off his head, which he angrily shook his fist at. The key that was around his neck fell to the ground and he smiled as the heroes ran to pick it up.
The heroes cheered as they were healed and rewarded 2000 apples and 6 Runes.
"Yes! We finally got both keys!" Beep-0 cheered.
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny cheered.
"Now we just need get back to the gate."
"Lucky for us, there's another one of them barrel cannons." Applejack told the group, pointing to a mini Barrel Cannon that was just past Finn's crab base.
"Good eye, Applejack! Let's go!"
The group made their way to the cannon and were shot back to the area with the giant gate, which they quickly made their way to.
Applejack and Rabbid Granny took out the keys and went to unlock the gate doors, which had 2 locks, one that was normal while the other was upside down. Applejack had no problem unlocking the normal lock, but watched as Rabbid Granny was having trouble fitting her key into the upside lock, as she was holding the key the wrong way. She picked up Rabbid Granny and held her upside down so that the key would be able to fit in the lock, then turned her to unlock the door. Rabbid Granny grinned in embarrassment as Applejack set her back down.
The group watched as the gate activated its unlocking mechanism and opened its doors for them, revealing an all new path for them to take.
"We're finally on track to go after Rabbid Jack!" Beep-0 cheered.
"And this path will lead us right to her. Let's get a move on everypony!" Applejack told the group.
Everyone nodded and followed her through the gate into the Jungle.
