Chapter 24: The Water Park/Aunt Estella

It was a nice warm day of 84 degrees in Sunset’s neighborhood. The sun was not too hot, but some people were sweating like crazy. Sunset was watching the weather forecast on the news about the weather, and Chase was eating a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal in the kitchen. Sunset suddenly turned off the TV after the news was over and decided to think about what to do today, until the doorbell rang. She got up and answered the door, until she looked down and saw Melody and Sam Sam with two bags and wearing swimsuits. “Hello, kids. What can I do for you?” Sunset asked. “Is Chase home?” Melody asked. “Yeah, he’s in the kitchen eating his breakfast. He just got up a few minutes ago,” Sunset said softly. “If you wanna come inside, go ahead.”

Melody and Sam Sam came inside while Chase was finishing his breakfast. After he came from the kitchen, he saw Melody and Sam Sam on the couch, “Melody! Sam Sam!”

“Chase!” they replied and they all got in for a group hug. “Are you guys ready for our play date?” Chase asked. “Yeah!” they replied. “Can you come with us?” Melody asked, showing her the booklet that had information about the water park. “Is that why you’re here?” Sunset asked. Melody and Sam Sam nodded, then Sunset smiled warmly, “Why not? Just let me get changed, text my friends and we can go. Chase, go ahead and change into your swimsuit.” Sunset went upstairs to get changed into her swimsuit, then Chase went upstairs to change into his swimsuit and brush his teeth.

Later on, Chase came out wearing his blue shark swimsuit and Sunset was wearing her swimsuit. “You kids ready to go?” Sunset asked. The kids nodded and then grabbed their towels, as Sunset grabbed her bag and then they all walked out the door together. Then, they saw Applejack’s van pull over and a door opened revealing the girls in their swimsuits. Principal Celestia, Vice-Principal Luna, and Dean Cadence were sitting in the front row.

Principal Celestia wore a hourglass shaped swimsuit in dark purple and had a gold sun symbol on the center, but her skirt was in golden yellow linen and had a sun symbol on one side, and she wore a pair of sandals that were the same color as her work shoes. Vice-Principal Luna wore a black and navy blue gradient swimsuit that was similar to Sunset’s, but her top had a crescent moon symbol with a purple cloud on the center, and she wore dark purple flip flops. Dean Cadence wore a swimsuit that was related to Rarity’s, but it was turquoise and teal with pink streaks. The top had her laced crystal heart pinned in the center, and she wore light blue sandals.

Sunset sat in the seat that was next to Applejack, Sam Sam and Melody sat all the way in the back with Rainbow Dash and Rarity, and Chase sat between Dean Cadence and Principal Celestia, who sat cross legged and next to Vice-Principal Luna. When they were ready and put their bags in the trunk, they drove off to the water park.

While they were driving, Sam Sam and Melody were napping while Rarity comforted them and Chase was laying on Principal Celestia’s lap listening to her read him some chapters from a kid’s novel. When she was done reading him the two chapters, Chase then slept on her bare legs after Principal Celestia unwrapped her skirt and wrapped it around Chase as a blanket, making him feel warm and comfy. Principal Celestia stroked his shoulders and the back of his neck, then slept with her head leaning back.

Until a few hours later, they arrived at the water park that was called “Aquatic Wonder World.” They parked the van in an empty spot in the parking lot. Then they took out their bags from the trunk and went inside. Chase took Sunset’s hand, and Rarity took Sam Sam and Melody’s hands as they all walked inside to get signed in and get their wristbands. After they were signed in, they entered the entire park. They saw that the water park had a playground that looked like an underwater kingdom. The big bucket had ancient decals on it. There were a lot of water slides everywhere, a lazy river, ocean wave pool, and a surfing simulator. “Are you guys ready for some fun?” Rainbow Dash asked. “Yeah!” The kids and girls shouted. Principal Celestia took out her phone and read the schedule for the time, “Okay, so now it’s 10:30 am and the park closes at 6:30 pm, so we can leave whenever you all want.”

“Last one at our table gets to buy lunch!” Pinkie Pie hollered. “Hey, no fair!” Rainbow Dash argued, as she, Pinkie Pie and the other girls finished setting up their chairs and table, and Sam Sam and Melody ran off to the water park. The teachers leaned down on their chairs and gave themselves a chance to relax, until Principal Celestia came up with an idea for Chase, “Chase? How about after lunch, you and I go on the lazy river together?”

“Okay!” Chase replied excitingly after he hugged the principal and ran off to the playground and catch up with his friends. “He is such a cute little boy,” she said. “And he has such lovely friends with him,” Vice-Principal Luna replied. “And he has a good sister for him to love,” Dean Cadence said.

Chase, Melody and Sam Sam went to the girls who were sitting in their chairs relaxing and sharing some laughs. Rainbow Dash turned her head and saw the kids near her, “You three okay?”

“Can we go on the slides?” Melody asked while pointing at the big water slides. “Of course you can. But you’re gonna need an adult with you,” Twilight said. “I’ll do it,” Rainbow Dash said, as she got up from her seat and took the kids with her. After Rainbow Dash got a tube for herself and the kids, they went up the stairs to the entrance to the slides. Rainbow Dash placed the ring on the slide floor, then got on first. Sam Sam and Melody sat down where the handlebars were and held onto them, but Chase sat down between Rainbow Dash’s legs and leaned his back gently on her belly and wrapped his elbowed arms around her waist.

Then, after the lifeguard pushed their tube down the slide, they all screamed in joy as they slid down the slide. They slid through the looping tunnels until they reached the end of the slide, causing them all to splash into a mini pool and slow down. They all began laughing. “Can we do that again?” Chase asked, until they got off and went on again for the last time. After that, the kids went to the playground area and wandered around and made sure they were where the adults and girls were.

After a few minutes of playing in the water playground, Dean Cadence called the kids over for lunchtime. When they got to the table, Sunset and Rarity gave the kids their towels to let them dry themselves off. Chase sat down with Sunset and both Sam Sam and Melody sat next to Vice-Principal Luna and Rarity. They all got pizza and fries to share, along with some soda for each.

After lunch, Chase went over to Principal Celestia, “Principal Celestia, can we go in the lazy river?” Principal Celestia nodded with a warm smile, then stood up and unwrapped her sun skirt and took her sandals off. She and Chase walked over to the lazy river. After they arrived at the river, Principal Celestia grabbed a two holed tube and laid herself all over the tube, then Chase climbed onto the tube and laid back on top of her. Then when they were both ready, Principal Celestia pushed the tube away from the steps and then down into the stream until they started floating. Chase then closed his eyes and started to feel relaxed.

“So Chase, have you been to this park before?” Principal Celestia asked. “N-No... I never went here. My aunt never let me have fun or play,” Chase replied sadly. Principal Celestia stroked Chase’s shoulders, “I’m sorry, sweetheart. But at least you have your sister to take you with. You should be grateful.” Chase nodded. After Principal Celestia spread out her arms, she and Chase continued down the stream until they made it back to the stairs, and then all of a sudden, Chase caught up with Melody and Sam Sam as they went back to the playground to get wet again. They went on the slides, splashed each other, and got dunked by the giant bucket.

While the girls got bored doing nothing, except Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie going on the water slides, Rarity came up with an idea, “Why don’t we all swim in the pool? It’s over there!” She pointed at the huge swimming pool. The girls made agreeable comments and then Sunset went to retrieve the kids, until their principals came over without their skirts and sandals. “Are you all going to the pool?” Dean Cadence asked. “Mmhmm,” the girls replied. “We’re going as well,” Principal Celestia said, then until Sunset came back with the kids, they all went into the pool together, but Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Sunset, Pinkie Pie, and the kids jumped into the pool. Chase swam over to Sunset and he held on her shoulders. “Don’t worry, buddy. I’ve got you,” Sunset said as she held him gently, “Don’t worry, the water’s fine. There are no big waves like the ocean. It’s just a pool.” Chase nodded and then let go, until he began to float by moving his arms and legs. “See? You’re doing it! You’re doing it!” Sunset said proudly, then hugged Chase and gave him a kiss on the forehead, then she released him and let him swim around with his friends.

Unexpectedly, he felt someone poke him, so he turned around and saw Cadence make a funny scare, then he laughed and hugged his favorite babysitter, until she hugged him back and gave him the funny kiss. After Cadence shared a cuddle with Chase, Sunset came over and took him. Then, Sunset and Chase swam together as siblings. Then, after everyone had a nice swim, they got out of the pool and dried off and it was time for them all to go home. After they packed their bags and left the building, they went to the van and placed the bags in the trunk, then got in the van and drove off.

When they arrived at their first destination, which was Sunset’s apartment, Sunset and Chase got out of the vehicle and then took their bags out of the trunk. “See you tomorrow!” Sunset said. “Bye!” everyone replied as they drove off to drop off the others to their homes. After they left, Sunset took Chase inside the apartment to get hosed and plan on what to do for dinner.

Meanwhile, the next morning, there was a small gothic mansion and it had a black and white Mitsuoka Himiko with chrome white wall racing tires. Inside the mansion was a woman at Principal Celestia’s age, and she had curled up bobbed gothic white hair with light gray, dark gray, and sandy tan streaks, and she had pale red eyeshadow, blood red lipstick, and mascara on her eyelashes. She wore a black latex robe with pale grayish turquoise boas on her sleeves and neck over a black linen nightgown, red soft satin on the inside, black linen long sleeved gloves, and wore black heeled slippers. It was Estella, Chase’s evil aunt. She also had a white Persian cat laying on her lap purring and Estella petted her cat, while she was reading a book and drinking her coffee her butler gave her, along with some biscuits topped with cream beef and a side of hash brown and fried sunny-side up eggs.

“Oh, the devil take it!” Estella said angrily, while she ate her breakfast. “It’s obvious that miserable little beast had to run away and leave me alone without any assistance. I should’ve pulled the plug on him while I had the chance! It’s no reason Teresa and Gregory loved him more than me!” She then finished her breakfast, then laid down on her fainting couch wallowing into self pity. Until her cat handed her an envelope, she opened it and read the note, regarding about the Spring Formal at Canterlot High with Crystal Prep visiting. She got an idea. It was an awful idea. Estella suddenly had a dreadfully awful idea about her nephew. “Oh, just you wait, dear Chase. My little nephew,” she said in a sarcastic cute tone while staring at a picture with him sitting with his parents. “When I find you, I will have my revenge. Time to pay the price about running away from your dear Auntie Estella.” She then began to chuckle a little while her cat looked at the photo, “I’ll finally be one with the family bloodline forever.” Estella then began to make an psychotic evil cackle.
