Pony and the Yak

Sandbar's New Room

After taking care of Sandbar's father, the yak marched back to the hallway where Sandbar was sobbing, "You didn't let me say goodbye to him the way I wanted...now I'll never see him again..."

The yak's eyes slowly widened as she felt sorry for the devastated Sandbar. However, she quickly recovered and told Sandbar, "Come, I'll take you to your new room." in a tone that did not sound sad nor sorry at all.

"My new room? But I thought I was your prisoner." Sandbar asked.

"What?! You want to sleep in a hall way?!" the yak asked.

Sandbar did not reply through words, but through motion as he shook his head left and right.

"Then follow Yona." the yak instructed, signalling Sandbar, who was wiping out his tears, to follow her.

As they walked, Sandbar noticed states of fierce-looking monsters on the top of the pillars, before rushing off to keep up with the yak.

Once they were there, the yak told Sandbar, "This is your room. It's the best Yona can offer to you."

Sandbar gasped to see a comfortable bed for him, as he thought that as a prisoner, he would never have something like that.

"Thank you, Yona...you're really surprisingly nice in a certain way to give me a bed like this to sleep on..." Sandbar thanked, trying to sound the best he could while still trying to hold back his negative emotions.

"Don't get too comfortable, it's the least Yona can offer after all!" Yona quickly backed off.

"But you said it was the best you can offer earlier!" Sandbar reminded.

"Doesn't matter!" Yona snapped, scaring Sandbar.

"Please, Yona doesn't want to talk right now..." Yonathen walked off, leaving Sandbar in his new room.
