In the future, Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Chrysalis are defeated after they were hit by the magic of friendship thanks to the Pillars, Young 6, and the Mane 6 and Spike. Both Tirek and Cozy Glow began to worry, except Chrysalis who shouted.
“You think friendship will save you?! We will always return! Nothing will ever stop—!” Suddenly, a portal opened up, taking them away before a giant cupcake fell on the spot they suddenly vanished in.
“Where did they go?” Princess Celestia asked.
“I’m not sure, but whatever happened to them is nothing to worry about and Equestria is now safe once again.” Twilight said as all of Equestria cheered, Celestia, Luna, and Discord got their magic back, and the Windigos are gone.
As the villains continued fall into the portal, a white light flashed in front of them. A few hours later, they wake up to find themselves inside a forest.
“Where are we?” Cozy Glow asked
“I think we’re in some kind of forest?” Tirek said, but they heard Twilight’s voice nearby.
“And that everything you need to know about the Elements of Harmony you two.” Twilight said to Crash and Coco.
“Great it those annoying ponies and those...” Chrysalis stopped herself when they saw Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Sally, Crash, and Coco talking to the Mane 5 (the exclusion of Pinkie Pie).
“That’s strange? I never seen those talking animals before?” Tirek told the Cozy and Chrysalis.
“I don’t have time to sit here and wait. Let’s destroy them all at once!” Chrysalis told as she was about to shoot a magic beam at the heroes, but was stopped by Cozy Glow and Tirek.
“Are you that crazy!” Cozy hushed to Chrysalis. “We can probably beat those ponies, but those animals are like their royal guards and if we try to attack them, we would lose since we don’t have Grogar’s Bell!”
“I don’t know for sure, but if I have some of your magic, I can defeat them for sure.” Tirek said as Cozy and Chrysalis groaned.
“Yeah right, says the one who was cowering behind me!” Chrysalis said, then pointed at Cozy saying, “And that also goes for you too.” The arguing between almost got them caught by Sally.
“Yo Sal, what are you doing over there?” Sonic asked.
“Just taking a look over here that all.” Sally answered as she walked back over the heroes.
“Well after what we been through, we need a break from that.” Rarity said.
After the heroes left, the 3 villains continued arguing for minutes until Cozy got them to stop.
“Look, if we’re gonna keep arguing, let’s put aside our differences once again and follow those guys to see if they stand a chance against us.” Cozy put her hoof out and both Tirek and Chrysalis refused, they begrudgingly agreed anyway and the 3 followed the heroes on their adventure. What felt like an hour or so, the heroes finally made it to the beach and all of the ponies ran away screaming.
“I wonder what could the cause of this terror.” Tirek asked as they continued to spy on the heroes.
One of the ponies was stopped by Applejack when she asked him why are they running away from.
“There’s this tall robot who’s destroying everything!” The ponies said as he vaguely give details that it was a Metallix, which gave Sonic and Rainbow pumped up to fight him, except Twilight. “I got to get outta here!”
Before they could stop him, Metallix appeared in front of them as he slowly walked towards them.
“Who is that robot anyway?” Coco asked.
“It’s probably Eggman who’s behind all this!” Knuckles said, which confused both Crash and Coco.
“We forgot to tell you two is that Dr. Eggman, or Robotnik is a evil scientist who puts small woodland creatures inside robot and if he isn’t doing that, he creates robot replicas of Sonic.” Tails explained.
“And I thought Cortex mutating animals was strange enough.” Coco said, which caused Rainbow to laugh at the name “Cortex”.
“It seems like you have some immature partners on your side do you Twilight Sparkle.” Metallix said as Rainbow was about to hit Metallix, but was held back by Crash, Amy, and Rarity
“Now who in the hay are ya’ suppose to be?” Applejack demanded
“I’ll give you a short backstory to make things a bit more easy for you cowgirl.” Metallix said as Applejack gritted her teeth. “I was Mecha Sonic in the past and I was easily defeated by Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.” Metallix pointed at the 3 Mobians. “I was heavily damaged and I was able to rebuild myself into your worst nightmare and since a portal from another dimension opened up and brought me here, I would be happy to kill all of you right here!”
“Well we not going to lose to again metal face!” Rainbow taunted.
“Either we traveled back in time or those ponies are punishing us!” Chrysalis growled.
“I just want to see how this plays out.” Cozy Glow said as the 3 of the watched the heroes about to fight Metallix.
Metallix started off by punching Twilight away and shot bullets at her, but Sonic stopped him by using a spindash on his back, then the heroes started to fight as the villains watched from the bushes.
"Hmph! Those so called heroes aren't going to win against that thing!" Tirek laughed as they continued to watch the fight.
Continuing on with the fight, Sonic and Metallix charged their speed to max and their spindashes ricochet each other as the other barely dodged their attacks. Applejack used her lasso and caught Metallix, but since he was spinning really fast, she was slammed to the ground multiple times and she couldn't let go of it, luckily Coco and Sally saved her as they cut the lasso, releasing both Applejack and Metallix. Metallix turned to Knuckles and the two began throwing fast fist at each, Rainbow also helped by kicking him in the face, but she was grabbed by the leg and slammed in the ground, hitting the red echidna and throwing the cyan pegasus on him. As Metallix loomed over the two, but got distracted after some wumpa fruit hit him in the face thanks to Crash, which gave Rainbow and Knuckles to attack, but Metallix was quick enough to knock Rainbow aside and grab Knuckles' fist was uppercutted him in the stomach and into the air and blasted him to Spike, who dodged out of the was and used his fire breath at Metallix, but it only was to give both Knuckles and Rainbow Dash a chance to attack him in the air and knock him to down so that Twilight, Sonic, Tails, and Crash to finish him off, but as he was about to get hit, he created a small explosion, but Twilight used a magic barrier to protect herself, Sonic, Tails, and Crash. There was a dust cloud and after the dust cleared, a crater were Metallix was there and he got up, without a scratch on him what so ever.
"You have gotten a lot more stronger, but I wasn't using my full power and if I did, I would have killed you in a matter of seconds!" Metallix told and was about to leave before saying, "And no matter how many allies you make Twilight Sparkle and Sonic the Hedgehog, you're outcome will always be the same. You Will Die a Painful Death!" This cause a shiver down a spine to the heroes.
"Wow! That guy wasn't playing around." Cozy Glow said
"Well have you seen what he did to Twilight before the three of you came her. It would have nearly defeat her if her friends did come to the scene." A familiar voice said and to their shock, it was Grogar himself.
"What a second! How do we know if we can trust you if you're not Discord?" Tirek asked
"If I were Discord, the one that create chaos with the snap of his fingers, I would have do that and he's right here in this crystal ball as I can see everyone all around Equestria!" Grogar demonstrated as he use the orb's magic to show Discord, doing what he normal does best, mess with other ponies in Ponyville.
"Okay so we can trust you I suppose, but does that mean you have some kind of way we can defeat those heroes, especially Starlight Glimmer, when I get my hand on her I'm gonna-" Chrysalis was interrupted by Grogar.
"Silence Chrysalis! I will give you cooperative missions and for to make things a bit more easier, I'll make the three of you a little bit more powerful just to make anyone else dare think twice, especially Princess Celestia!" Grogar said as he give them a small blue orb, which gave the 3 villains a increased power in strength, speed, and magic.
